At Patriots Den, spend days relaxing in the living room with a sofa, log rocking chairs, an electric fireplace covered in stone, and lots of windows to let in natural light and tree-studded views. You can flip on the black bear lamp for some reading, enjoy an afternoon nap on the sofa, or hang out with family and friends while planning out the next day’s fun. There is also a nice sitting area around the corner, perfect for intimate chats or some quiet time to yourself.
In the fully equipped kitchen, find what you need to make snacks or prepare meals for the group. It mixes form with function, boasting dark cabinets, stone countertops, a small island, stainless steel appliances, and dishes, glassware, and utensils. Next to the kitchen is a dining table with benches for family meals, crafts for the kids, or board games and cards after you’ve eaten. There are also nice amenities outside, including a gas grill for cookouts, a new hot tub, porch swings, and seasonal mountain views.
Want to play? Patriots Den has you covered, with a foosball table, shuffleboard table, arcade games, CD player, and board games provided in the cabin! The cabin also has wireless internet, along with a DVD player and TVs in the bedrooms, so you’ll always stay entertained. At night, rest in 2 king-size beds (with 1 queen sleeper sofa in the living room for additional sleeping space), or sip local moonshine from the rocking chairs.
Step into the welcoming living room at Patriots Den. The ceiling reaches high with tons of natural light from the windows. Enjoy peaceful treetop and sky views as you sit back and relax on the sofas together. For movie nights with the family, set out treats, drinks, and bowls of parmesan-topped popcorn on the coffee table, pop in a favorite DVD, and press play to watch characters come to life on the big screen TV. Beautiful rockers are excellent spots to sip morning coffee with a friend or evening wine with a partner. When it gets chill outside, turn on the electric, heated fireplace to stay cozy, ideal with cocoa, a warm blanket, and a good book. The living room is a great space to just hang out and unwind with the whole gang.
When your tummy’s rumbling, it’s time to whip up a yummy feast in the fully equipped kitchen at this family cabin in Gatlinburg. Patriots Den boasts stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a rolling island plus pots, pans, plates, bowls, cutlery, and glasses for convenience. Keep fresh ingredients and drinks in the fridge, stir fry dinner on the stove, bake sweets in the oven, reheat leftovers in the microwave, and clean up with the handy dishwasher. Coffee lovers will appreciate the Keurig single cup and coffee pot combo, and the kitchen is open to the dining area so guests can grab seconds or dessert without missing a beat.
After ordering takeout or fixing a 4-course meal in the cabin’s kitchen, set the gorgeous log table in the dining room that features matching benches and chairs. Picture everyone laughing and enjoying a nice family meal together under the antler chandelier. Large windows and glass doors allow plenty of tree-studded scenery to decorate the room, a lovely treat while you eat. Board games are provided and can be easily set up on the table. There’s also a sitting area with armchairs, an end table, and a reading lamp — a nice spot to enjoy a light read, chat with your teen, or sip morning coffee with your devotional.
Upstairs, find the rec room that boasts a wall of windows with wooded scenery and open skies. Of course, there are also fun games to play with the whole family! Challenge your kids to a foosball match or take on your spouse at the shuffleboard table. The arcade cabinet features tons of classic games, and there’s a pub table where you can knock back a few cold ones with a friend or play cards. You can also flip on the flatscreen TV for added entertainment.
When it’s time to hit the hay, peel off into your bedroom suite that features custom furniture, a king-size bed, a flatscreen TV, and a private bathroom. One of the bedrooms even has a sitting area with a romantic stone (electric) fireplace, and the other features a massive wall of windows with lovely scenery. There’s also a half bath in the home for added convenience and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room for the kids or extra guests.
Outdoors, enjoy seasonal mountain views that are best seen in winter and tree scenery year-round at this semi-private Gatlinburg cabin. Your family will appreciate the porch swings under the deck to take in the views. Speaking of the deck, this one is pretty spacious and stretches all around the cabin. The covered portion features seating and a gas grill for fun cabin cookouts, and the rest is uncovered so you can fully take in the scenery, sunlight, and night sky from the chairs or the hot tub. Note the driveway has gravel with pavement at the top.
Along with all the amenities mentioned so far, this Gatlinburg cabin for families and friends features free Wi-Fi so you can stay connected if you wish. There’s a washer/dryer to reuse provided towels or toss in a clothes load after messy eaters or a day of play in the national park.
