We loved our stay at the cabin! It was clean, cozy, and exactly as pictured. The location was hard to beat - only a 5min drive from downtown Gatlinburg. The hot tub was wonderful and the views were gorgeous. My one note: this is posted on the listing and the host will remind you, but just as a third reminder (because we forgot) - make sure to bring shampoo/conditioner/soap/etc. Again, that was our bad, we're just used to airbnbs having some toiletries available.
Response from Cabins for You
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We're thrilled you enjoyed the cozy cabin, hot tub, and those amazing views so thoroughly. We completely understand about the toiletries—thank you for the friendly reminder, and we appreciate how thoughtfully you noted it. We hope to have you back soon!

We stayed for two night and enjoyed our stay at the cabin. I only had two complaints but wasn’t a deal breaker to staying there again. Wish they would have had steps to get in the hot tub for safety reasons. Also I’m not sure if the shower was clean completely because there was hair in the shower drain and an old soap bar in the window seal. The cabin was nice and cozy for our mini family vacation.
Response from Cabins for You
Thank you so much for sharing your experience and for choosing our cabin for your mini family vacation. We’re glad you enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and had a good stay overall. Your feedback about the hot tub steps and shower cleanliness is truly valued, and we’ll be addressing those concerns to make future visits even better. It means a lot that you’d stay with us again.

Perfect spot for our Christmas vacation!

Great cabin for Christmas- they even provided a Christmas tree! Hot tub was a hit after hitting slopes and hiking in the national Park. Kitchen had plenty of items to make our feast. Unfortunately the fireplace was not working, which would have been the icing on the cake.

Great Cabin

Easy to get to, great proximity to town and attractions, secluded but still had cabins around. Cabin was clean and looked just like the images. Only thing there was no hair dryer but that didn’t make or break anything. We loved it!
Response from Cabins for You
Thank you for sharing your experience! We're so glad you loved the cabin's cleanliness, easy access, and peaceful location close to town. Your feedback about the hair dryer is appreciated, and we'll keep it in mind as we continue enhancing our guests' stays.

Beautiful cabin! Side note, the shower is amazing lol. Easy to find, I couldn't get the remote to work, probably user error though.
Response from Cabins for You
So glad to hear you enjoyed the cabin! The shower is definitely a guest favorite—thanks for sharing that. We totally understand the remote frustration, and we’ll make sure the instructions are clear for next time. Your feedback means a lot to us!

We would do it again!

Cabin was clean and tidy. All appliances work. Hot tub is brand new. Im not sure if the listing says, but the coffee maker is a Keurig (in case youre shopping for groceries on the way in). We will book for a future trip soon. The only negative is on night 1, we had a bear print on the jeep, which was no problem. And then on the last night had a big black bear tear into the soft top of our Jeep for an unopened pack of diapers. This of course is to no fault if the property, just a nosey bear! I didnt see many positive reviews about this place, but we couldnt recommend it more. We loved our stay here.
Response from Cabins for You
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the cabin and its amenities, especially the new hot tub. It sounds like the bear definitely made its presence known, but we're glad that didn’t affect your overall stay. We can’t wait to welcome you back on your future trip!

Loved the cabin look! Love A-Frame houses. It was amazing. Comfortable! The only thing I didn’t like was the driveway, it is a little rough but other than that it was perfect.

Neat place. We had a really good time. Great communication letting us know that the hot tub was not working and gave us the option to move to a different location. We are happy we didn’t as we loved this cabin. Very clean and had everything we needed. Grill wasn’t working but it didn’t bother us. Thank you.
Response from Cabins for You

We had a wonderfully peaceful time at this cabin. It was so cute and cozy and the surroundings were beautiful. We did have a lot of snow that made the steep driveway impossible to drive up so we had to park at the bottom and traverse the snow up hill with our luggage. Bring a shovel if going in the winter. The host was quick to respond to all communications. We stayed for 6 days and hated to leave.
Response from Cabins for You
We're overjoyed to hear you had such a delightful time at our Shepherd's Crook 1127 cabin, Carla! It brings us immense joy knowing you found it cute and cozy amidst the beautiful surroundings. We truly appreciate your feedback about the snowy conditions and will take it into account for future guests. Thank you for choosing us for your getaway, and we'd love to welcome you back anytime!

Spring break trip

I took my 14 year old son and a couple of his friends to the Smokies for their Spring Break. We all had a great time! Had a little trouble with the door code when we first arrived but one phone call and we were in! The hot tub could have been a bit cleaner.
Response from Cabins for You
We appreciate you taking the time to share your review with us, Kasey! We're delighted to hear that though you had an issue with the door code originally, one of our agents was able to assist you in having this matter resolved! We truly appreciate your feedback, and we hope to serve you again in the near future!

Beary nice!

Loved our stay: nice mid-week getaway for 2. Main floor bed was VERY comfortable; had no need to try the loft bed. Large shower with bench was a plus. Note: there is no bath tub, which we didn't mind. Really enjoyed the fireplace on the cool autumn evenings. WiFi worked great. Driveway is steep and sharp, could be a challenge in bad weather. Our highlight had to be the bears. First day, we saw a single cub scared up the driveway by a passing car while trying to cross the road. Next, we saw four cubs in the driveway that went and played around at the cabin below us. Last day, found a cub on the deck that went down into the driveway: we followed out onto the deck only to discover mama bear nursing all four cubs in the driveway. She ignored us watching from less than a stone's throw away. By the way, always keep your vehicle locked: we were warned by the registry book in the cabin, and we watched the bears try two of our doors but we had them locked. Have a nice paw print on my running board until the next car wash...

Beary perfect!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved our stay! Just up the mountain a bit from everything: parking at OberGatlinburg and riding down to use the Gatlinburg "trollies" is very convenient. Mind the driveway: it is steep. Enjoyed the fireplace on cool evenings and the large shower with bench. Very comfortable bedding. The highlight had to be the mother bear nursing four (4!) cubs in the driveway while we watched from the deck!! (Doesn't look like we can attach a photo.) Keep you vehicle locked at all times: the bears try the doors...

Cozy Cabin Stay

It was raining while we were here most of the time but we had so much fun. You can hear the creek from the house and you are surrounded by trees. The house was very clean when we got there and the house is beautiful. The driveway is very steep and hard to go up with a small car. The hot tub was very relaxing but it might be a little broken because the jets wouldn’t turn off. We had 5 people on our trip and it slept all of us comfortably. The beds are SO comfy. The kitchen is missing a few utensils, like a mixing bowl for example, and the coffee maker wasn’t working. We didn’t see any bears, but one got into our trash can at the end of the driveway. We called the property owners and they had maintenance there within the hour. Overall, we were very pleased with this house and the memories it brought our group. I am so thankful for being able to stay in such a beautiful cabin in the mountains.
Response from Cabins for You

Wonderful experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The driveway was no problem to navigate, but a bit tight for 2 cars. I think the only things that were slightly below standard were that half of the jets and lights in the hot tub dont work, the storm door handle comes off in your hand, and there should be a way to lock bedroom doors. Other than those small things, we had a wonderful experience with the cabin and Chalet Village in general.
