Reviews for Sugar Hollow

  • "We stayed in this cabin in 1999 on our wedding day. I spent years looking for this cabin again. I posted on facebook that I was looking for it and was contacted by a very nice lady at cabins for you who said the pictures I had posted looked like a cabin that they just started listing. I looked the cabin over and the current pictures and discovered it was the same one. I thought it would be a long shot but after a year of trying to find it, I found it! I immediately booked it! We had the best time staying here again! It was just as we remembered even though it had changed some. We love the location. We were shocked we remembered just how to get to it by memory! We plugged it into GPS but my husband didn't need to use it! There was plenty of options for things to watch on TV, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything I needed to make our meals. The hot tub didn't work the first time we stayed, this time it did. The cabin was clean and I loved that it had a washer and dryer, it did not have these when we first stayed. We just wish it would have had a recliner, my husband has back issues and this would have helped. This time we stayed in the down stairs bedroom! We would have loved to have stayed longer but the costs of cabins are very expensive. We have stayed at the beach for two weeks for less than a one week stay in any cabin in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. When we stayed the first time of course it was so long ago that we could afford to stay a week in it! We were very happy though that we got to experience staying here again and were able to make wonderful new memories in it! We hope one day we can get to visit this cabin again and enjoy it together again because it will always be our favorite!"

Thank you so much for sharing your heartwarming story about staying in our cabin in 1999 and rediscovering it after all these years, April. We're truly touched by your journey to find it again and thrilled that you had the chance to relive those cherished memories. It means the world to us that you found the cabin just as special, even with the changes. We're delighted that you enjoyed the comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, and soaking in the hot tub. We are grateful for your feedback and will share it with the appropriate department for further consideration. We hope you can return to your favorite cabin to create more lifelong memories in the future.

  • "This cabin is a treasure and is tucked delightfully into the mountains for a truly restful retreat. From this location you can get to dozens and dozens of hikes (ranging from easy to hard) for access to a safe and exhilarating vacation during these unprecedented times. Also close by, all of the staples to stock your cabin for a week of grilling out and eating outside with your family before you retreat to the hot tub to rest your body from a long day of activity. The space also features space to play games, read a book or take a glorious nap. The kitchen is small, but has everything you will need from breakfast to late night snacks. We slept 6 comfortably. This place is really just perfect!"

  • "We had a wonderful stay. Very relaxing, clean, good location though in the winter I would make sure you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle as it’s pretty windy and up a hill to get there. Hot tub was great as well. We would definitely stay here again!"

  • "Lots of chicken based art, and it is always Christmas at Chicken Holler with the tree up. The hot tub was in excellent shape, like new. Property had a nice proper size and functioning grill. The two beds are kings with a pull out upstairs so our family of six had adequate sleeping arrangements. The natural gas fireplace is new as well. The property is on top of a mountain, and there is an abundance of wild life. We saw turkeys almost every day, and had mama and two baby bears scurry away as we arrived. It is away from the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg, and the location is situated such that you can bypass the Gatlinburg traffic if needed. For the owner-I could not find a volume control on the tabletop video game upstairs. If there was a way to reduce the volume, the kids would be able to enjoy it more, while the adults are sleeping downstairs."

  • "Perfect cabin for a family trip. Clean, safe, and close to downtown Gatlinburg. We would definitely stay here again."

  • "First time in Gatlinburg, and would definitely come back! Awesome stay at this cabin. Has all the amenities. Great location close to town, trailheads, restaurants, and shops, even a grocery store just a couple miles away, which was so convenient. Very nice place to relax and get away from it all!"

  • "We found the perfect cabin at the last minute to accommodate our stay! The location was easy to find and close to Downtown Gatlinburg & the strip in Sevierville. Our cabin (Bear Cove) was clean, cozy and stocked with all of the essentials we needed. The hot tub was relaxing, WiFi worked great & checking in and out was a breeze. The representatives that helped with the reservation were very pleasant & professional. Cabins for You also sent all the info we needed via email & text in a timely manner. It was one of the best trips to Gatlinburg we've ever had and will definitely book thru Cabins for You again. I've already referred them to other family & friends."

  • "Good quiet location, conveniently located to all the activities we enjoyed."

  • "The cabin was clean and absolutely adorable. We loved hanging out in the hot tub. Loved the location. It was out in nature but still very close to Gatlinburg. ❤️❤️❤️"

  • "My family really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It’s very nice and is close to downtown Gatlinburg. We will definitely be staying here again!"

  • "We had a wonderful stay at Sugar Hollow. It's a great location---in the woods and quiet, but only minutes away from the Park entrance and downtown. It's a comfortable cabin and had plenty of space to walk our dogs. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and just enjoying the sounds of nature, but could sleep soundly in the comfortable bed. My husband especially loved that the shower had great water pressure. My only advice of anyone staying in this cabin is to use Google Maps or Apple Maps over the directions provided. We found the provided directions to be very confusing. The GPS maps work great and lead us right to the front door."

  • "We stayed here for my 34th birthday. We wanted something close to town with all the amenities. This place was perfect! Beautiful location, hot tub was amazing, and it was quiet. It took us around 5-10 minutes to get to Gatlinburg depending on the traffic and there is a Food City grocery store not too far away. Only downside is our GPS did not take us all the way to the cabin. Very close but not quite. Use the directions sent to you and make sure you locate the cabin on the satellite image before going."

  • "We had a wonderful time in Gatlinburg. Our Cabins For You experience was the best. We didn’t have any issues, everything was so easy from start to finish. We stayed in the Sugar Hollow cabin and it was perfect! Very nice and clean and spacious and the beds were more comfortable than my own! If you are looking for the perfect Gatlinburg experience, I suggest you get a Cabins For You cabin! Every one I looked at looked amazing as well! You won’t be disappointed! The Browns from Jasper, Al! Neal, Stephanie and Jada"

  • "We had a great time in this cabin! Felt at home!! The location was perfect!"

  • "The cabin was amazing! The kids enjoyed all the board games and arcade game! We loved the rooms so spacious! The hot water was hot and amazing after long days of exploring! We definitely enjoyed our stay!"

  • "The cabin and location is beautiful. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after long days of site seeing and entertainment. The wooded area in back added to the Cabin’s charm. We will be back again….. hopefully soon!! Tina & Terry"

  • "This private mountain cabin was everything that we had expected, great location, easy access to downtown Gatlinburg. Plenty of room. Would definitely book it again"

  • "Wonderful cabin with a very nice hot tub. Everything was clean and as stated in the description. The upstairs bedroom is beside a bathroom and then an extra room with a pull out sofa. Perfect for the kids to sleep on."

  • "We loved our cabin and the location. My three year old called it her "mountain house." We'll be back!"

  • "Amazing experience, my family and I had a great time in Gatlinburg. The cabin was super comfortable, clean and beautiful"

  • "Definitely won’t be disappointed with this cabin. The set up was very nice along with location. At one point the drive is a little steep but to be expected for being in the mountains. Nothing that all wheel drive didn’t take care of. The check in and out was very easy. There was plenty of entertainment in the cabin Wi-Fi, cable, board games, and an arcade game that you don’t realize how much better you were as a child until you try it as an adult lol. And best of all it has a secluded hot tub. You can’t go wrong here."

  • "Everything work like a swiss clock, perfect the cabin is a real nice experience"

  • "Clean.fun.roomy.endless amount of appliances and utensils. Our 3 day weekend went by so fast but we enjoyed every second of it!! Felt right at home in our cozy cabin!! Definitely will love to come again it was stunning!! Also I know it’s a long shot but I’m 10+ years experience cleaner have my own business (Stacy’s Southern cleaning) if you ever need a weekend clean done I can make it happen, I have references as well.. just a thought. Thanks again we really enjoyed our stay, oh we also went horseback riding but cameras weren’t allowed or else I would have posted pictures. We didn’t realize when we signed up 2dogs and we have 3 but we called day of leaving finding out and I just want to say I appreciate not being charged on card it meant a lot to my husband and I knowing it was our mistake not realizing 2 dogs. Great stay, we shall do it again!!"
