We enjoyed the cabins location. It snowed one day and we went to Ober mountain which was 3 minutes away. We even had a bear come by the front door. We would definitely stay there again.

Reviews for A Bear's Pause

Victoria
Great cabin, love the privacy of each room with its own bathroom. Patio views were great. Only downfall yes pet friendly but not in term of location. No place to actually walk the dogs and unsafe. No walking. Distance to the playground or other facilities. Also the trip up the mountain was unexpected many of our guests got sick with the journey up as we are not use to it and the drive up felt unsafe with no guard rails or warning about the drive.

The cabin was very beautiful and cozy! We made great memories as a family. We really enjoyed the hot tub and air hockey. The cabin was pretty close to downtown Gatlinburg as well, which made it easier for us to get out and about to do more things. We would definitely choose this cabin again if we ever make it back to Gatlinburg!

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. Plenty of room. Home was a little dated, but that wasn’t a problem at all. The only drawback was not having any yard space because we had dogs, so no where to walk them except down the road. Besides that, the house met our needs and I would definitely rent again!
Response from Cabins for You
We truly appreciate you sharing your experience and are glad the cabin gave you plenty of space to relax. It’s genuinely helpful to hear your feedback about the yard, and we completely understand how that can affect a stay when traveling with dogs. We’re happy the home still met your needs and that you’d return, and we’ll absolutely keep your notes in mind as we continue improving. We hope to have you back soon, thank you.

All the luxuries of home

Great place and location. Had everything we needed and then some! Could have used an extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom but we were able to go to a local grocery close by. Loved this place and would definitely recommend!

Great Cabin

The cabin was perfect for our family of 8. Everyone had their own space, and there was plenty of room. Our favorite parts were the fireplace, deck on both levels, and game room. Would stay again!

Family of 6

We traveled here with 6 adults. There was plenty of room for everyone. The house was very clean and the rooms were spacious and comfortable along with the beds! The only thing I would suggest as if you are staying longer than a couple of days would bring toilet paper as there was only one roll in each bathroom. We enjoyed our time in Gatlinburg and would stay here again!
Response from Cabins for You
We're so glad you and your group had a comfortable stay! It's wonderful to hear that you found the house clean and spacious. We appreciate your feedback about the toilet paper and will ensure to provide more for longer stays. Thanks for choosing us, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Gatlinburg!

Bear pause miller time

Awesome location. Great setup. Lots of bear sightings which we loved. Dog had fun walking mountainside. Had trouble with TVs. 1 of 5 worked. Please bring supplies with you...nothing provided. Instructions on shower could be provided ahead of time or posted. King sized beds were a plus.pizza delivered was sooooo good. Priced reasonably. Pool was awesome. We stayed in community and cooked at home. Would rent again.

Loved it!

We came to town from Texas for a basketball tournament at Rocky Top Sports world. My husband, myself and our 3 children (17,16 and 13) this cabin was PERFECT for us! It was so beautiful, and the views were amazing. Couldn't have asked for a better experience, we will be back very soon!

Beautiful and spacious cabin. Quiet location and we even saw four bears around the area. It is 5 minutes from Ober Gatlinburg and very close to downtown Gatlinburg. The arcade games were a big hit. I would note that if you are bringing dogs there isn’t really a yard for them to use the bathroom in. You can walk them along the road which gets the job done. I was nervous booking this cabin with no reviews but I would stay again.
