Tennessee Special Olympics

Come to Gatlinburg TN this winter and enjoy the Winter Special Olympics. The Winter Special Olympics are going to he held January 25 - January 28, 2009. All events will be held at Ober Gatlinburg located in Gatlinburg Tennessee.

Opening Ceremonies will be held on Sunday January 25. All event competition will take place during January 26 and January 26. If you have any questions about the Winter Special Olympics please contact Meg Takahashi at 1-800-383-8502 or you can visit www.specialolympicstn.org.

The global Special Olympics movement started on July 20 in 1968. The first International Special Olympics Games were held a Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois. Special Olympics Tennessee became became a registered as a 501(c)(3) non-for-profit organization and has been serving TN since.
