From cozy interiors and conveniences to make your stay easy to fun extras for entertainment and a peaceful setting in the Great Smoky Mountains, Karen’s Cozy Cottage has all you need to feel right at home while you’re away. This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin has space to sleep 4 adults, in addition to rollaway beds for 2 kids.

After a day hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, driving around Cades Cove, shopping in downtown Gatlinburg, and exploring all the many fun attractions, come back to Karen’s Cozy Cottage to unwind. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the leather recliners as you read a book by lamplight or watch TV on the flatscreen above the gas fireplace. Then head to the fully equipped kitchen to whip up snacks, drinks, and homemade dishes. Enjoy meals at the expandable dining table or window bench seating — another perfect place to watch the rain, read, or just hang out on days around the cabin.

For entertainment, Karen’s Cozy Cottage has a big screen TV and DVD player, high-speed internet, and a foosball table! It also has plenty of conveniences, including a washer and dryer and a gas grill for cookouts on those beautiful mountain days. Bedrooms also have their own TVs, and the hot tub on the deck is just the place to soak away stress at the end of the day.

Living Room
Find a peaceful place to hang out, read a good book, and chat by a crackling fire in the living room at Karen’s Cozy Cottage. Quaint, inviting, and full of charm, this cozy space features leather recliners to kick back, a built-in bench with a bay window framing the trees, a stacked stone (gas) fireplace to set the mountain mood, and a flatscreen TV with a DVD player for entertainment. Snuggle up with your family for movie night, sip wine by the fireplace on chilly evenings, and enjoy a memorable read or chat by the window.

Kitchen
Steps away from the living area is the fully equipped kitchen that boasts country chic touches throughout, cream cabinetry, dark countertops, major appliances, and plenty of natural light. It’s a spacious kitchen with everything you need, including pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery, and mugs, to cook and serve meals at the cabin. Fix nutritious breakfasts before exploring the national park, set out lavish lunches for a break at the cabin, bring home takeout for dinner since this Gatlinburg cabin is so close to town, and easily grab treats at midnight. Simply bring the ingredients, snacks, and drinks, and you’re all set for food on your vacation!

Dining Area
At the edge of the kitchen is the dining table that can expand for more space. With the bay window bench and living room recliners just there, everyone can dine comfortably at Karen’s Cozy Cottage. Plus, the table is great for setting up a homeschool station, checking emails on your laptop, making plans to visit downtown Gatlinburg for the day, playing board or card games, and working on arts and crafts.

Rec Room
Downstairs at this Gatlinburg cabin awaits the fun rec room that boasts a foosball table to play, a table with chairs, and a media space with a big screen TV, sofa, and Papasan chair (aka moon chair). It’s a neat space to retreat for a while and spend time with loved ones, conquering the foosball field, chillaxing in front of the big screen, or chatting with a friend while enjoying a few cold ones at the table. Plus, if the kids want their own space to hang out at the cottage, here it is!

Bedrooms
When bedtime rolls around, you can choose between 2 bedrooms that each feature a flatscreen TV and a queen-size bed. One of the bedrooms even has its own kitchenette — with a microwave, mini-fridge, storage, and coffeemaker — for added convenience and privacy if needed...or wanted because this is YOUR Smoky Mountain vacation. There are also 2 twin-size rollaway beds that are great for kids and 2 full bathrooms in the home.

Outdoor Spaces
Follow easier flat, paved roads from downtown Gatlinburg to the flat, gravel parking for 2-3 vehicles at Karen’s Cozy Cottage. Wooded scenery is enjoyable from the deck with a steamy hot tub, a gas grill, and a breakfast table. Soak muscles in the hot tub after traveling around the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community to find the best handmade pottery and unique souvenirs. Toss burgers or steaks onto the grill for a fun cabin cookout. And sip wine and enjoy treats at the table under the stars.

Other Amenities
Along with entertaining amenities and a convenient location super close to town, this Gatlinburg cabin offers guests high speed Wi-Fi at no extra charge. Hop online anytime to stay connected with family members and friends, check out local restaurants before visiting, keep up with emails, and post trip videos to social media. There’s also a washer and dryer in the home so you can do laundry whenever you need to, like after horseback riding or working up a sweat over the grill.

Local Fun
Close to downtown Gatlinburg — only half a mile away — Karen’s Cozy Cottage is perfect for those wishing to stick close to the excitement and convenience of nearby eateries, shops, and attractions. You can pop into town whenever you like to putt-putt, visit Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, walk across the Gatlinburg SkyBridge, face your fears in the Mysterious Mansion, ski at Ober, or ride a mountain coaster. Of course, you can also spend the day shopping in The Village and Mountain Mall and dining at the many restaurants. We highly recommend No Way Jose’s with riverside seating, any pancake house you spot, and Ole Red for cocktails and music.

What would your Gatlinburg vacation be without a visit to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park? There’s an entrance on the edge of town, and it’s free to enter anytime. Lace up your hiking boots to reach a waterfall, take a scenic drive through the gorgeous Cades Cove, picnic by a peaceful river, ride horses or go on a carriage ride, fly fish, and more! And don’t forget to bring your camera to snap memorable shots, a few bottles of water to stay hydrated, plus snacks to keep up your energy.

Anakeesta
Shop, dine, and play at this aerial adventure park that features the only single-rail mountain coaster in the country, a 360 observation tower, the Treetop Skywalk, an enchanting sensory garden, duel ziplining, yummy eateries, and fun stores to keep you entertained all day!

Sugarlands Distilling Company
Sip on Sugarlands Smoky Mountain shine, whiskey, and spirits, then return to Karen’s Cozy Cottage with a few jars and bottles to enjoy together. Before leaving, you can also take a cocktails tour or participate in a neat workshop where you’ll lend a helping hand to make distilled spirits.

Cherokee Grill
Enjoy a well-crafted steak dinner at this elegant lodge with stone, brick, granite, and walnut touches. Soft lighting paired with a gorgeous fireplace makes this place a top choice for date nights. Plus, it’s conveniently located in the heart of Gatlinburg, near plenty of attractions and shops.

Sherry, we are pleased to hear that Karen's Cozy Cottage was the perfect cabin and in the perfect location. We look forward to hosting you again in the future!

  • "Great Jumping off point to explore Gatlinburg. We've stayed in six different cabins in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area over the years. This is well maintained older cabin. Nothing fancy but just fine for using as a home base while exploring the area. My wife and I went with our two adult children on a quick three day get away. One thing missing in the description is that the top unit and the bottom and NOT connected by stairs. It's necessary to go outside and onto the street to access between floors. Wasn't a problem for us, but it might be for someone expecting to put their kids in one bedroom and the parents in the other and be able to hear them. Probably best for two couples. The top consists of a full kitchen, one bedroom, one bath, and one living room. The bottom unit is a rec room, bedroom (with a micro-fridge and a micro-wave), and large bathroom to form a nice studio space. All of the lower unit looks to be new as of 2020. Good beds and furniture. Main strip in Gatlinburg is within walking distance. We would stay in this cabin again. Rate was a little high, but then again, this time of year most places in Gatlinburg are higher (Christmas/New Year)."

Marcus, we really appreciate your feedback on Karen's Cozy Cottage as we are always looking for ways to improve to make sure our guests have a great stay in the Smokies. We hate to hear that the communication was off about the units not being connected by stairs. We are happy to hear that your stay was overall positive and we cannot wait to host you again in the future!

  • "Karen's Cozy Cabin is exactly as the pictures portray it. There were no surprises except the fact that the upstairs and downstairs are not connected which I may have overlooked when I booked it. Each has it's own external entryway. Parking is a little tight but can be easily overcome. The cabin is perfect for one couple or two. A family with small children would need to stay on one floor and there are plenty of sleeping spots for that. The location is fantastic in that it is away from the highway making it very quiet and the trolley stop (blue route) is at the end of the road. The nicest surprise was coming back and finding a new gas grill on the porch. We loved the hot tub at night. We had a very restful and relaxing time. Looking forward to doing it again!"

  • "We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin was very centrally located so that we could walk all around Gatlinburg. The cabin was also roomy and well equipped with any needed supplies. We even had a late night visit from a very large bear on our last night….I do highly recommend a better locking mechanism on the trash container :) We plan to visit again!!"

  • "Absolutely enjoyed our stay! The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed. Would certainly recommend and cannot wait to stay again."

  • "Great location really close to all the things to do, easy access to the property, split level house, and great stocked kitchen."

  • "Cozy and convenient!"

  • "Spacious private cabin walking distance to everything Gatlinburg has to offer. Very responsible price."

  • "The location is great for a walk into gatlinburg, also has pizza places and a small convience storw right down the road. Location is also decently private from others and nice sized deck for outside hangouts. Hot Tub was nice as well. The Price of the cabin was also good for what it offered. Im Definetly gonna see about booking Karens Cozy Cottage for future stays"

  • "Very Clean. Cute space. DIdn't mind that there wasn't a dishwasher. Shower in upstairs bathroom REALLY needs a new shower head. I think my camper has a better one than that! I was disappointed that the upstairs and downstairs could only be accessed by outside door. If I had known that, I would have not reserved this cabin. It was difficult with my 3 year old grandson. He wanted to go up with us, then down with his parents."

  • "Great location within walking distance from the strip. No overt issues. Accurate description"
