Description

Tucked within the wooded hills of Chalet Village Resort, just a mile from Ober Mountain and a short drive from both downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, this uniquely designed decagon-shaped cabin offers a refreshing take on Smoky Mountain getaways. Spend mornings sipping coffee while gazing at wooded or seasonal mountain views, spend afternoons exploring attractions or hiking forest trails, and return to evenings in the hot tub among the stars.

With 1,300+ square feet of space, cozy interiors, and inviting outdoor decks, this Tennessee vacation home was built for families and friends who want the best of both relaxation and adventure. Whether you’re gathering for family dinners, teaching the kids to play classic arcade games, or winding down by a dancing fire, every moment at this Gatlinburg cabin is priceless.

Living Room
Step into the living room, where warmth and connection set the tone at your cozy cabin. At the heart of the space is a beautiful stone-encased gas fireplace, perfect for chilly evenings or simply adding ambiance to your nights in. Curl up on the plush sofa or loveseat, set your snacks and drinks on the coffee table, and let soft lamp light create a welcoming glow.

For entertainment, the big screen TV with DVD player is perfect for movie marathons, and the Multicade arcade unit keeps the fun going with retro classics. Windows frame wooded scenery and glimpses of the Smokies, especially in fall and winter when mountain views peek through the trees. The open, inviting layout makes this a natural gathering spot for laughter, stories, and relaxation between hiking trails, sampling moonshine, or axe throwing in Gatlinburg, TN.

Kitchen
The galley-style kitchen has everything you need for easy meals and drinks at your Smoky Mountain vacation rental. Standard appliances, ample cabinets, and counters provide a practical space to cook for your crew. A standard drip coffeemaker and a Keurig for single cups ensure everyone can start the day just the way they like.

Use the long counter facing the trees to prep family dinners or mix cocktails with a view. There’s also a double sink to rinse fresh produce or wash up before mealtimes. Whether you’re whipping up a big breakfast before hitting the ski slopes or throwing together snacks for a day in the national park, this fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to feel at home.

Dining Area
Right off the kitchen, the dining area welcomes memorable Appalachian meals and game nights alike at your Smoky Mountain cabin rental. A table with matching chairs sits in front of a wide window, giving every meal a view of the treetops and mountains beyond. A ceiling fan overhead keeps the space fresh, and since the setup is open to the living area, everyone can dine within reach.

After dinner, clear the table for board games from the cabin or cards you’ve brought along from home. With natural light by day and warm lamplight by night, this space makes everyday moments feel special — whether it’s breakfast with the kids, celebratory dinners, or late-night snacks after a day of exploring.

Bedrooms
Ready for sweet dreams after a day of chasing waterfalls or wandering Ripley’s Aquarium in Gatlinburg? This 3-bedroom cabin offers peaceful retreats for everyone in your group. The primary suite features a queen bed, its own TV, and a private en-suite bathroom, giving you a comfortable space to recharge. Two more bedrooms — one with another queen bed and one with a twin-over-twin bunk — ensure there’s a spot for everyone, with TVs in each room and wooded views outside every window.

With 2 bathrooms total, including one with a walk-in shower and another with a shower/tub combo, getting ready for the day or winding down at night is simple and convenient. The living room sofa doubles as a sleeper, giving you additional flexibility for your group. In total, this beautiful cabin can sleep up to 8 guests, making it perfect for family vacations, couples’ trips, or small groups of friends exploring the Smokies together.

Outdoor Spaces
Readied for relaxation, the outdoor decks at your Gatlinburg cabin rental are where the magic of mountain living really shines. On the main deck, you’ll find a gas grill for cookouts, rocking chairs to sip your morning coffee, and a table for dining al fresco with treetop views all around. Step down to the lower deck for an even more serene experience — here, a private hot tub bubbles beneath the cover, letting you relax rain or shine.

The cabin offers both wooded views and seasonal mountain vistas, most striking in fall and winter when the leaves pull back. While a few nearby properties can be seen, the cabin feels semi-private, with plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors without distraction. From summer barbecues to crisp autumn nights under the stars, the decks extend your living space into nature.

Other Amenities
Your stay is made smooth and comfortable with thoughtful extras like keyless entry, so you don’t need to stop by an office to check in. High-speed Wi-Fi makes it easy to plan your days, from browsing free things to do in Gatlinburg to streaming movies in the evenings. With these conveniences, your Smoky Mountain vacation with friends feels effortless.

Community Amenities
Staying at this mountain retreat gives you access to seasonal Chalet Village community amenities that add even more fun to your Smoky Mountain getaway. In summer, splash in swimming pools with fun water features and relax on loungers. Challenge your crew on lighted tennis courts or basketball goals, or let the kids play to their hearts’ content on the playgrounds. Fitness equipment is also available at the clubhouses, so you can keep up your routines while on vacation.

Local Fun
With Ober Mountain just a mile away, downtown Gatlinburg’s Parkway within a short drive, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park just beyond, you’re perfectly situated for year-round adventure. Skiing, snow tubing, and ice skating in winter; ziplining, wildlife encounters, and hiking in warmer months — it’s all at your fingertips.

Pop into neighboring Pigeon Forge, Wears Valley, or Sevierville for even more attractions, shopping, and dining. You can check out Dollywood Theme Park, explore The Island’s many fun things to do, dine with mountain vistas, splash at water parks, or explore caverns…for starters!
