  • "A Bear’s View is the perfect place for a retreat in the Smokies. The mountain roads can be tricky to handle, but well worth it for spectacular views. Our party of 10 had plenty of room in this spacious cabin."

  • "Loved this cabin!! The view from the main floor balcony was incredible at sunrise and sunset. Be warned, it’s in a mountainous part of Gatlinburg with narrow twisty roads, but we navigated with no problems. Had the best luck seeing bears!! Mama and her 3 cubs visited twice: just be aware and leave them space and they roam on their way quickly. We loved it! The cabin is great, spacious, had everything we needed to cook and hang out. When we had an issue with a smoke detector, customer service was quick to answer and maintenance came the very next day. My only suggestion is to update the listing, because it says there were 3 king bedrooms and 1 bedroom with 2 queens, but the only king bed was in the basement. The others were all smaller than listed."

  • "The cabin was wonderful, all the amenities we were looking for. We had visits from 1 bear on the first day and a momma bear and 3 cubs on the second day. It was amazing."

  • "The house was perfect.Plenty of room for the seven of us. It was clean and we loved the location. It was secluded but not to far away from neighbors. Saw lots of bears. Please don’t feed them. It’s hard not to because they’re so cute. We were told that about 100 are put down due to them being over friendly. I feel there should be better communication about this."

  • "The roads were steep but the neighborhood and house was awesome. Just be aware there are bears. We were there less than 10 minutes and the bears were in the yard. They didn't stay long however."
