With a gorgeous stone and wood exterior, modern interiors, high-end amenities, and a convenient location in the Chalet Village area of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Whitney’s Way is a perfect blend of mountain charm and a luxurious retreat in the Smokies. This 2,100+ square-foot, 2-bedroom, 3-bathroom cabin with an indoor pool has space for up to 10 guests, ensuring room for a fun family vacation or a week away with friends.
Start mornings at Whitney’s Way with a big breakfast made in the beautiful kitchen. It features dark wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances, a large island, and the dishes, glassware, and utensils and tools you’ll need for preparing meals and snacks in the cabin. Then enjoy a soothing rain shower, spend the morning splashing in your private pool as the sun shines in, or head to the game room for shuffleboard, pool, and a drink from the dry bar!
The cabin also has you covered, with high-speed internet, a soothing outdoor hot tub, a big screen TV with a Blu-ray player, TVs in the bedroom, a gas grill for cookouts, a gas fireplace for cool mountain nights, a washer/dryer, and community amenities — including 3 clubhouses with summertime swimming pools, lit tennis courts, game tables, and fitness equipment!
Gorgeous hardwood floors lead into the elegant living room at Whitney’s Way. The sofas and stylish armchairs invite guests to have a seat, kick back, and relax. Flip on the big screen TV and pop in a Blu-ray disc for movie nights at the cabin, with popcorn, candy bars, and drinks on the coffee table. The gas fireplace is covered in stacked stones and is ideal for making chilly evenings in the Smokies cozier.
With an open concept, the living space keeps everyone connected. The windows are tall, letting in natural light and lovely views to enjoy throughout your stay. The living room is also a great spot to open a good book, sip wine, and chat with friends.
Nearby is the spacious kitchen with dark cabinetry to complement the light granite countertops. There’s a large island with a double sink and bar seating for 4, stainless steel appliances, and a Keurig coffeemaker that makes pots as well as single cups. Fully equipped with everything you need minus the ingredients, the kitchen at this Gatlinburg cabin is ready to whip up meals, snacks, and drinks in a flash. It’s convenient to use while on vacation and provides a place to keep restaurant leftovers and special treats bought in town.
Ready to eat? Set the lovely log table with 8 matching chairs in the dining area just off the kitchen. Windows let in natural light for daytime dig-ins, and recessed lighting provides ample light in the evenings. Combined with the bar seating in the kitchen, everyone will have a place to sit and enjoy dining in the Smokies. Moreover, the dining table is versatile and offers a space to sip morning coffee and chat, set up a homeschool or work station as needed, set out arts and crafts, or play board and card games together.
Playtime awaits in the rec room upstairs at Whitney’s Way! Grab a drink from the dry bar with a wine fridge that can house the local bottles purchased from Sugarland Cellars in town. Next, plop on the sofa with a chaise in the sitting area to unwind. You can play cards or a board game on the coffee table.
Better yet, flip on the big screen TV for entertainment while shooting pool or playing shuffleboard. Tall and wide windows let in glorious mountain views and tons of natural light throughout the day, and there are 2 twin-over-full bunks for kids or other guests to snuggle at night.
Private Indoor Pool
Up for a splash at YOUR Gatlinburg cabin with a pool? We thought so! In fact, the private indoor pool is probably one of the main reasons you chose to stay at Whitney’s Way, and we don’t blame you. It’s nice to have a private pool all to yourselves without having to worry about crowds, unruly splashers, and a time limit.
Plus, this private indoor pool has a glass garage wall that showcases the stunning Smoky Mountains and even opens up to the firepit area on the deck, which is only steps away from the hot tub, making it a party! Get ready for refreshing morning dips, fun afternoon swims, and cool midnight wades...because it’s your pool now.
Bedtime is relaxation time at Whitney’s Way. Before drifting to dreamland, soothe and relax muscles in the spacious rain shower or enjoy a hot bath with bubbles. There are 2 bedrooms in the cabin — each with a king-size bed, a ceiling fan, and a TV — and 3 bathrooms so everyone can spread out and get ready for the day or night with ease. And don’t forget the 2 twin-over-full bunks in the rec room and the queen-size sleeper in the living room for the kiddos or other guests.
Whitney’s Way provides a nice deck to take in the summer sun, enjoy the Great Smoky Mountain views, and host fun cookouts with the gas grill. Adirondack rockers surround the stone firepit on the deck, providing a relaxing space to roast marshmallows, swap funny stories, and sip Ole Smoky moonshine together. Not to mention, this space connects to the private indoor pool at this Gatlinburg cabin, so you can splash and hang out with family and friends.
Last but not least, the covered area on the deck boasts a bubbly hot tub with massaging jets, ideal after playing at Anakeestaor hiking in the national park. And when you want to head to town, pile into the cars (parking for 3) and be prepared to travel down the steep driveway.
Along with entertaining and relaxing amenities, Whitney’s Way offers additional conveniences of home that include a washer/dryer to take care of laundry while away and high speed Wi-Fi to stay connected with loves ones back home...if you wish.
When you choose to stay at Whitney’s Way, you’ll be within reach of Ober Gatlinburg’s ski slopes plus downtown fun! Sip wine and moonshine, ride thrill rides, play mini-golf, visit the aquarium, play at an aerial adventure park, eat all the pancakes in sight, practice your photography skills, and ride horses in Cades Cove. The entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is FREE, so you can plan a hike, picnic, or scenic drive without worrying too much about the cost.
Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster
Family-friendly and a super fun ride in the Smokies, the Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster takes you to the top of the hill and zooms down the track, through the trees and around sharp twists and turns. You can even slow the speed for a more relaxing ride and come back for a magical ride at night.
Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies
Play with penguins, pet moon jellies, and splash with rays at this award-winning aquarium in Gatlinburg. There are 2 levels of underwater adventures and sea critters that will catch your eye. Plus, there’s a gift shop where you can bring home cute sea turtle souvenirs.
Gatlinburg Wine Cellar
Did someone say FREE wine tastings?! Yep, at Gatlinburg Wine Cellar, you can try their delectable wines without paying a dime. It’s also near plenty of downtown attractions and restaurants, and it’s a great place to grab a few bottles for a nightcap at the cabin.
