Description

Designed for honeymooners and long-time lovers, The Lakota Wolf Cabin — recently renovated with a fresher look and now under new management to make guest stays more convenient — is ready for peaceful days, cozy mornings, and romantic nights in the Great Smoky Mountains. One of the most popular honeymoon cabins in the Smokies, it perfectly blends comfort, mystique, and simple pleasures for a romantic Smoky Mountain stay. Come for your honeymoon…and come back for many anniversaries and special occasions. And with space for up to 4 guests, it has room for a small family or a few friends as well.

It features a primary suite with a king bed and Jacuzzi tub, Native American décor throughout, an enclosed porch with a soothing new hot tub, a 2-person dining table and chairs, a gas grill, a private and secluded view of the woods, rocking chairs on the front porch, an elevated deck for sitting and relaxing, a 4-person dining table, a cozy leather sofa and recliner, a fully equipped kitchen, and a TV and DVD player for entertainment.

The Lakota Wolf Cabin is also located less than a mile from the new convention center and a water park and is convenient to Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, Dollywood, Douglas Lake, Smokies Stadium, Bass Pro, and tons of shows, entertainment, theaters, shops, and more! Located in Echota Resort in Sevierville, just off the beaten path, The Lakota Wolf Cabin keeps you close to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

After a big day in town or the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, come back to relax in your recliner by the fireplace, get in a nap on the plush sofa, make a snack in the fully equipped kitchen, play board games (brought from home) at the kitchen table, or enjoy a soak in the bubbling hot tub on the deck.

The cabin offers a gas grill for cookouts, high-speed internet so you can stay connected (if you want), a washer/dryer, peaceful wooded views, a TV in the bedroom, a sleeper sofa for more space, and easy parking – flat, paved, and motorcycle friendly! With plans to update even more in the future, The Lakota Wolf Cabin is just the place to start your tradition in the Smokies!

Living Room
A cozy space to call home while you’re away, the living room of The Lakota Wolf Cabin welcomes you in to unwind. Kick up your feet on the plush leather sofa or take your seat in the comfy recliner as you stay warm in front of the rustic stone fireplace or watch TV on the flatscreen in the corner. Flip on the floor lamp for a warm atmosphere or turn on the fan on hot summer days. With wooded views through the windows and warm wood walls, you’ll get that classic mountain experience you’re seeking.

Kitchen
A fully equipped kitchen makes cooking at the cabin easy, offering the space and tools you need to prepare. Brew a pot of coffee to start your day, with mugs conveniently hanging right next to it. You can toast some bagels for breakfast, cook eggs on the stovetop, or use the kettle to make some hot tea to sip on the deck. If you’re here for the holidays, put a casserole in the oven or bake some biscuits for a big mountain breakfast!

The kitchen also has a refrigerator with freezer, so you can easily keep ingredients fresh or store leftovers. You’ll have ample dishes, glasses, and utensils, along with counter space to prep meals. You will even have a dishwasher to make cleanup easy!

Dining Area
Next to the kitchen is the dining table for 4. The charming red table features space for your whole group set on a lovely rug. It’s tucked in a nice alcove, so you can enjoy the wooded views in this nice spot. Start mornings with breakfast together, have a romantic dinner once the kids go to bed, or just use it to set up snacks and drinks for a day in the cabin.

When mealtime is over, clear the table and use it as your game-day spot! Play board games and card games, do a puzzle, catch up on some work, or take care of homeschooling here.

Bedroom
The bedroom in The Lakota Wolf Cabin is a welcome retreat after a big day riding roller coasters at Dollywood, shopping at The Village in downtown Gatlinburg, skiing at Ober Gatlinburg, hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, or just exploring the many attractions in the Smokies. Come back here to get that much-needed rest and relaxation! With a king-size bed, a TV in the corner, a CD player, a reading lamp, a ceiling fan for hot sleepers, and a dresser where you can unpack, the bedroom has all you need to feel at home.

Allow yourself to sleep in late in the mornings as you watch some TV and enjoy the peace of the mountains. Take an afternoon nap before heading back into town for dinner. Or head to bed early for some extra rest! There is also a queen sleeper, so the cabin offers space for up to 4 guests.

Bathroom
The bathroom at The Lakota Wolf Cabin is its own retreat! You won’t just get ready quickly here, you’ll want to spend some quality time treating yourself. There is a large mirror above the sink, so you can easily get ready for dinner downtown. The room features more of the beautiful Native American décor paired with warm wood interiors. The star of this space is the large jetted tub next to a fireplace! Surrounded by stacked stone, the tub offers plenty of mountain charm. Climb in for a relaxing bath as the fire crackles next to you.

Outdoor Spaces
The screened-in deck at The Lakota Wolf Cabin is a great place to spend some time. You’ll also have open spaces, so there are some great options. Climb into the bubbling hot tub to soak tired muscles after a long day or sit at the small table to play cards, sip a drink, or have lunch. Rocking chairs are great for starting or ending your day, and there is a grill for cookouts! Another deck area features a table for two, perfect for a romantic sip before bed.

Local Fun
There is no shortage of fun in Pigeon Forge, whether you’re traveling as a couple, as a family, or with a few friends. You’ll find miniature golf, go-karts, laser tag, boutique and outlet shops, restaurants, unique attractions, dinner shows, and so much more. Need some ideas for entertainment outside of the cabin? Check out:

Reviews for The Lakota Wolf Cabin

  • "Very close to Parkway but situated on a steep hill. Very quiet and peaceful."

  • "As soon as we stepped foot in the cabin we knew we made the right choice. It’s at the end of the road so you don’t have a ton of cars flying by all the time and the remote location is very secluded and intimate. That Being said, you are only 5 minutes from anything you might need, while still feeling as if you are in the middle of the great smoky mountains. I would highly recommend for any couple. We absolutely loved it!!"

  • "Lakota Wolf is the best cabin ever!!! Complete privacy yet close to everything. Our stay was so peaceful. Cabin was very cozy and clean. We will be staying at Lakota Wolf Cabin every year from now on. If I had to make a complaint it would be that the area rugs need to have a non-slip backing added to them bc I almost fell numerous times by tripping on them."
