This Pigeon Forge cabin is also outfitted with plenty of conveniences, including a charcoal grill for cookouts, a highchair and pack 'n play for the little one, Wi-Fi so everyone can stay connected or see what’s happening via our blog, rocking chairs for relaxing days, a washer/dryer, and TVs in the bedrooms! Inside, and out, Shooting Star is a wonderful retreat!
Living Room Shooting Star welcomes guests with a beautiful wooden interior, complete with large windows to get the best mountain views around! The open concept living room is incredibly spacious, making sure guests feel right at home! Drop your bags at the door, cozy up by the stone fireplace, sit down on the comfy couch, and kick your feet up. You are on vacation now! Guests will love to kick back, turn on the big screen TV, and watch a movie with the family. The coffee table in the living room is perfect for setting up a board game and bonding with loved ones!
Kitchen The fully equipped kitchen at Shooting Star will leave guests needing nothing more than some groceries! Take advantage of the stainless-steel appliances, the included dishware and cookware, and the bar for laying out food after cooking that homemade meal! There are some other awesome items available to guests as well. Store food in the large refrigerator, wash fruit in the big double sink, and make coffee in the included coffeemaker. The kitchen is stacked and ready to be used by our wonderful guests!
Dining Room The dining area at Shooting Star sits just a few feet from the kitchen, and the dining room table seats up to 4 guests. The table is placed next to large windows overlooking the mountains. Even indoors, guests can see wonderful views while eating dinner! If you are grabbing a snack, there is also bar seating for us to 3 guests! After dinner, sit around the awesome dining room table and chat while playing some board games!
Recreation Shooting Star has an awesome full-sized pool table in the rec room! This is just perfect for challenging friends or family to a little pool competition to wind down after a long day. While you wait your turn, there is a TV in the rec room to keep you busy! The rec room also features a door for back deck access and large windows that overlook the glorious mountain view. Shooting Star provides some of the best mountain views you can find, even while playing pool!
Bedrooms This cabin features 1 comfy bedroom with a huge king-sized bed! Not only does this bedroom have plenty of space and storage for clothing, but it also features a comfy mattress to make sure guests can get plenty of rest before their busy days in the Smokies! Guests will be glad to know that the bedroom also features a TV so you can watch your favorite shows while getting ready in the morning or while winding down for the night! The bedroom also features some large windows overlooking the mountains. If you bring a couple of extra guests along, there is a wonderful queen sleeper sofa at this cabin to make sure there is room for everyone!
Outdoor Spaces Shooting Star has no shortage of outdoor amenities to enjoy during your stay! Not only will you have some of the best mountain views in the Smokies, but there is some awesome fun to be had as well! Wake up, grab a cup of steamy coffee, and sit in one of the chairs on the deck as you get a glimpse of the mountains every morning. After a long day downtown, relax your muscles in the bubbly outdoor hot tub! Guests looking to stay dry might want to head over to the charcoal grill to cook some juicy steaks for the family! Shooting Star is a relaxing Smoky getaway!

What is Enhanced Property Protection?
Our basic Property Protection Plan covers unintentional damages to your cabin during your stay and provides $1,500 in protection. Enhanced Property Protection (EPP) increases your limits and may offer an extension to your cancellation policy.

What is your cancellation policy?
4+ bedroom cabins: No cancellation or change of cabin or dates within 5 months of stay
1-3 bedroom cabins: No cancellation or change of cabin or dates within 2 months of stay
Each of our cabins has a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, stove/oven, and varying countertop appliances), shared living spaces for guests, a dining table and/or breakfast bar for in-cabin dining, and cozy bedrooms. Most feature wireless internet, flatscreen TVs, washers and dryers, decks with wooded or mountain views, and some games or game tables! You can browse by amenity online to find the perfect fit.
What should we bring from home?
You’ll supply your own food, drinks, toiletries, charcoal and lighter fluid (for charcoal grills), propane (for gas grills; check cabin before purchasing), and any other movies or games you’d enjoy on vacation!
We’ll give you a starter supply of:
1 trash bag per container
1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom
1 bar of soap per bathroom
Do you provide bedding and towels?
We provide all linens, along with 1 towel and 1 washcloth per person (based on property sleeps advertised). Many of our cabins have washers and dryers, so it is easy to use only the towels we provide. If your cabin does not have a washer/dryer, you may want to bring extra towels from home.

Most of our cabins offer high-speed wireless internet, but not all. Please check the amenities list and description, or check with your Vacation Specialist when booking!
What is the check-in and checkout process?
Check-in is easy with Cabins for YOU. Each cabin has an electronic keypad, and we’ll supply the unique code for your cabin 2 days before check-in. No keys, no going to an office. You’ll use this to unlock your cabin each time you enter. Checkout is equally simple. Just shut the door behind you as you leave and it will automatically lock!
Check-in/out times: Check-in starts at 4 p.m. EST with guaranteed check-in at 6 p.m. Checkout time is 10 a.m. EST. We can’t guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts, but you can check with your Vacation Specialist. Hourly fees apply for early check-ins.
Before leaving, please be sure to:
Place towels and washcloths in the bathtub (We’ll take care of bedding!)
Put trash in proper containers
Clean used dishes
Clean any large messes made during stay
Lock the door behind you
How/when do I get directions to my cabin?

What is your policy for hot tub, swim spa, and pool use?
Please report any issues regarding cleanliness of hot tubs, swim spas, or pools upon arrival. We will do our best to resolve them right away. To keep these spaces clean and serviceable for all guests, please shower off before using and refrain from using any lotions or oils. If issues are reported more than 24 hours after arrival, any additional cleaning fees will be charged to current guest.

Cancellation protection is best explained as "the ability to cancel a booking" service. It's not a replacement for RedSky's Travel Insurance, but an additional option for guests to have peace of mind when traveling to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
