Welcome to The Foxtail Lodge, a 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom cabin hosted by Cabins for YOU. Located in White Oak Lodge & Resort near Gatlinburg, Tennessee, this spacious log retreat is built for big groups and loaded with amenities. A game room with a pool table, arcade games, and a jukebox, a private hot tub on the screened deck, a spa bath in the primary suite, and resort-level community amenities make The Foxtail Lodge one of the most complete stays in the Smokies. The cabin sleeps up to 12 guests and sits minutes from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and downtown Gatlinburg.

The Foxtail Lodge guests enjoy full access to White Oak Lodge & Resort amenities. The seasonal community pool is open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

Roads to the property are wide, level, and paved. There are 4 steps up to reach the covered porch, and paved parking is available for up to 4 vehicles.
Community pool access is provided and managed through a third-party company. Cabins for YOU is not responsible for maintenance or pool closures. The pool is typically open from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Please note the following community guideline: do not hang towels on or over the railings.
Trailers and RVs are not permitted inside the resort.
Please note this property is not pet friendly — including service animals. Check out our pet-friendly cabins if you're planning to bring fur babies to the Smokies!

We had eight adults in the cabin and there was plenty of room. The cabins were wonderful. The area was great and the pool was nice with plenty of chairs. The one disappointment was the gym on the property did not match the pictures that were shown. My son and daughter were training for an Iron Man and that was one of the selling points for us choosing this cabin, that there was a gym on the property and they would have access to a stationary bike. But when we entered, there were cobwebs all over and the stationary bike was broken. That was very disappointing as the next local gym was 30 minutes away. When I messaged the management property, they simply said talk to the person in the office.

I also loved how we could walk to the pool and tennis court from the cabin! The pool is gorgeous— lagoon style with waterfalls. Every room had its own bathroom which was really nice! TVs in each bedroom and living/bonus. My kids had room to spread out and chill (and mom and dad too!) Food City is a short drive for easy groceries. 15 minutes from the strip! Easy checkout. This cabin AND the location is absolutely the best, we will now never stay anywhere else! The cabin is absolutely beautiful and the kitchen is fully stocked. We were impressed that it not only has a regular coffee pot BUT also a Keurig AND an espresso maker, so everyone gets to enjoy their favorite brew! We went mid January during a major snow and ice event so I was a little concerned. However the management at the cabin resort was ON it and the streets within the resort were cleared immediately AND the City of Gatlinburg and the City of Pigeon Forge also had all the main roads cleared so getting around was not an issue so do NOT hesitate to go in winter months! The cabins game room was also a BIG hit with everyone as we stayed in one day and enjoyed all the games, plus enjoyed family time of cars games at the big comfortable dining room table ..even made a big ole pot of chilli in the Crock-Pot I found in the kitchen! We also enjoyed the big hot tub! would definitely rent again!

Me and my kids LOVED this cabin! The communication was so seamless and the checkout process was very simple! I never had to contact them because everything was laid out for us so well ahead of time. They don’t make you do a whole chore list before you leave like other places. Our favorite thing was the game room upstairs. I also really appreciate that each room has its own private bathroom. There are TVs in every bedroom and also the loft and living room. I have a large family and still felt like everyone had plenty of space. The location was great. We got to be about 20 minutes from the strip without all of the chaotic traffic. We are coming back in the summer! This cabin is super close to the community pool and we can’t wait! I can’t say enough positive things about this stay. This has been the best family vacation we’ve had to date, and it was largely because the property was perfect. It was so cozy, and all details were thought through so particularly. There was even a Christmas tree and decorations. We spent each morning in the game room listening to music on the Bluetooth jukebox box (our toddler was obsessed!). We ate most meals at the cabin and were surprised that they didn’t just have the basics, but a griddle, crockpot, waffle iron, and more. All of the beds were super comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. At the end of each day we would unwind in the hot tub that backed up to the beautiful woods. And the location was awesome!! Just a short drive down to the Gatlinburg strip on a main highway that didn’t have much traffic. If you’re looking for a place to create some special memories- you’ve found it!

This cabin was just what my family needed! So new, so tastefully decorated, and oh so clean! I found everything I needed in the kitchen for cooking breakfast and other meals for my family. The game room had everything from board games and cards to multicades and a very nice pool table. We enjoyed relaxing and playing together as a family at night. We enjoyed the cozy back porch with its new hot tub and wooded-views and the fireplace in the den for those cooler nights. Every bedroom has its own full bathroom with all the amenities. The location was a perfect distance from the busier areas of town, very quiet. Food Land is just down the street for groceries, Trish's Diner is a five minute drive from the cabin (delicious food at half the Gatlinburg price), and there are a few Gatlinburg free trolley stops right down the street. We will definitely be back and because it was so nice, next time we plan to set aside more time to just hang out at the cabin!

What amenities are offered in all your cabins?
Each of our cabins has a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, stove/oven, and varying countertop appliances), shared living spaces for guests, a dining table and/or breakfast bar for in-cabin dining, and cozy bedrooms. Most feature wireless internet, flatscreen TVs, washers and dryers, decks with wooded or mountain views, and some games or game tables! You can browse by amenity online to find the perfect fit.
What should we bring from home?
You’ll supply your own food, drinks, toiletries, charcoal and lighter fluid (for charcoal grills), propane (for gas grills; check cabin before purchasing), and any other movies or games you’d enjoy on vacation!
We’ll give you a starter supply of:
1 trash bag per container
1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom
1 bar of soap per bathroom
Do you provide bedding and towels?
We provide all linens, along with 1 towel and 1 washcloth per person (based on property sleeps advertised). Many of our cabins have washers and dryers, so it is easy to use only the towels we provide. If your cabin does not have a washer/dryer, you may want to bring extra towels from home.

Most of our cabins offer high-speed wireless internet, but not all. Please check the amenities list and description, or check with your Vacation Specialist when booking!
What is the check-in and checkout process?
Check-in is easy with Cabins for YOU. Each cabin has an electronic keypad, and we’ll supply the unique code for your cabin 2 days before check-in. No keys, no going to an office. You’ll use this to unlock your cabin each time you enter. Checkout is equally simple. Just shut the door behind you as you leave and it will automatically lock!
Check-in/out times: Check-in starts at 4 p.m. EST with guaranteed check-in at 6 p.m. Checkout time is 10 a.m. EST. We can’t guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts, but you can check with your Vacation Specialist. Hourly fees apply for early check-ins.
Before leaving, please be sure to:
Place towels and washcloths in the bathtub (We’ll take care of bedding!)
Put trash in proper containers
Clean used dishes
Clean any large messes made during stay
Lock the door behind you
How/when do I get directions to my cabin?
Once you’ve made your reservation, you’ll receive a confirmation email that will have the directions to your cabin rental.
What if there is an emergency at the cabin?

What is your policy for hot tub, swim spa, and pool use?
Please report any issues regarding cleanliness of hot tubs, swim spas, or pools upon arrival. We will do our best to resolve them right away. To keep these spaces clean and serviceable for all guests, please shower off before using and refrain from using any lotions or oils. If issues are reported more than 24 hours after arrival, any additional cleaning fees will be charged to current guest.

Explanation of Cancellation Protection
Cancellation protection is best explained as "the ability to cancel a booking" service. It's not a replacement for RedSky's Travel Insurance, but an additional option for guests to have peace of mind when traveling to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
Cancellation Protection Disclaimer
Guest can cancel for any reason and will be refunded 100% of nightly rents and all fees, excluding cancellation protection, reservation fee and travel insurance.
Refund will be processed immediately but may take up to 7 business days to reflect on guest's banking account.

Average quality accommodations. Will have some good quality and some low quality elements. Things such as a mixture of flatscreen and tube tvs, good quality furniture but worn out and not consistent, particle board cabinets and laminate countertops with updated appliances, or updated appliances but not consistent. These properties have elements of a Bronze and Gold level.
Gold
Good quality accommodations. These properties are high quality, but all elements might not be considered luxury in nature. There might be more wear on furniture, deck/exterior, etc. TVs are flat screen, but might not be the newest in quality. Might have stone countertops with updated appliances that aren’t stainless steel. These properties have some elements of the Platinum level, but elements are either slightly outdated, worn, or not as high quality.
Platinum
Luxury accommodations. All elements are of high quality, design, and are up-to-date. Consistent furniture and decor in each room. Unique touches such as stone designs, barnwood/shiplap, full log pillars are often found in these properties.
