Located in the gorgeous Legacy Mountain resort – which boasts amazing views of the Great Smoky Mountains – this beautiful pet-friendly Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, cabin offers comfortable spaces and a great lineup of amenities for any vacation to the Smokies. The 1-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin has space for up to 4 guests, making it perfect for a small family weekend, a romantic getaway, or a vacation with a few friends.
Spend evenings soaking in the hot tub on the deck, start mornings sipping coffee from the rocking chairs on the deck – overlooking the mountains – have a nice meal at the table for 4 inside (with more mountain views), whip up meals in the fully equipped kitchen, shoot pool and play arcade games in the rec room, or climb into bed and watch TV on the flatscreen in the bedroom.
All throughout the cabin, conveniences make your stay easier. Take advantage of the Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer so you can pack light, a soothing indoor jetted tub, a DVD player for movie nights, and a charcoal grill so you can cook out on nice days. When you want to explore, head to downtown Pigeon Forge for go-karts and mini golf, laser tag and arcade games, moonshine and local wine, family-friendly attractions, good food, and fun Pigeon Forge events!
Living Room
This bright, open space is just where you’ll want to spend your days, whether you’re cozied up on the sofa and matching armchair while chatting, playing cards or board games on the coffee table, enjoying the incredible mountain views, reading a book by lamplight, or just unwinding while watching TV. Guests can mill around, cooking and eating in the nearby kitchen or stepping right outside on to the deck for some fresh air. The large windows also frame year-round views: snow gently falling over the mountains in winter, bright greenery in spring and summer, and an incredible kaleidoscope of colors in fall.
Kitchen
Conveniently located next to the living room, the kitchen at Star Gazer is fully equipped for making meals in the cabin. You’ll have black-and-stainless steel appliances, plenty of counter space for prepping meals or setting out snacks, a breakfast bar for mealtime or chatting while you cook, and some truly incredible mountain views that will make you want to do the dishes (although you’ll have a dishwasher to take care of that). With views like this, you’ll be happy for mealtime at the cabin, and cooking here helps you save cash to spend more on attractions downtown.
Dining Table
Along with seating at the breakfast bar, Star Gazer offers a dining table for 4 with mountain views you won’t get anywhere downtown. Whip up great food in the kitchen before settling at the table to enjoy good company and great views. If you’re traveling as a couple, or you’ve already put the kids to bed, it’s the perfect spot for a romantic meal or a late-night drink and chat. When mealtime is over, use the dining table as your card game spot! Or you can set up crafts or decorate-your-own-cookie stations during the holidays.
Rec Room
Pigeon Forge has tons of arcades, family friendly attractions, and ways to play. But when you don’t want to leave the cabin, Star Gazer has you covered. Shoot some pool in the rec room – with more of those amazing mountain views – or play arcade games on the console in the corner. There is also a TV mounted in the corner, so it’s an all-around fun place to just hang out.
Bedrooms
When the day is done, the bedroom will be nice retreat. The king-size log bed is the place to call it a night or climb in for an afternoon nap, and mountain views await just through the window. Wake up to sunlight streaming in or watch as night falls over the Smoky Mountains. The bedroom also has its own big screen TV mounted in the corner, so you can fall asleep to your favorite movies or just relax and stay in bed a bit longer in the morning. You’ll also have a dresser, nightstands, and bedside lamps, making you feel right at home here.
Star Gazer features 2 bedrooms, offering plenty of room for up to 4 guests. You’ll have a shower and a garden tub to choose from, too! It’ll be easy to get ready for date night or a big day in town – or to get freshened up after a long day of hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
Outdoor Spaces
With views like this, you know Star Gazer will have some great places to enjoy them outside. You’ll have easy access from the rec room or living room, and you’ll have plenty of space to relax. Climb into the soothing outdoor hot tub on the covered deck for mountain views and truly peaceful evenings or grab a coffee or a drink and sit back in the rocking chairs (with a small table in between) to soak up more mountain views and enjoy fresh air.

Star Gazer was designed with comfort and convenience in mind, so you’ll have a washer/dryer in the cabin. It’s spacious, and it’s about a half hour into the town of Gatlinburg and hikes in and around Smoky Mountain National Park. The hot tub is covered which was ideal since it rained at times. But it’s not completely private. I highly recommend this cabin for any single person or couple needing a quiet getaway."

How and when do I pay?
- If your arrival date is more than 120 days out:
- - 15% of the balance is due now, half of the balance is due at 120 days and the remainder is due 30 days prior to check-in.
- If your arrival date is between 31 and 120 days out:
- - Half of the total is due now and the remainder is due 30 days prior to check-in.
- If your arrival date is less than or equal to 30 days out:
- - Your entire balance is due at booking.

What do additional fees cover?
We want to ensure each guest has a clean, comfortable place to stay. The additional fees cover property cleanup of your cabin once you’ve checked out, reservation fee, taxes and service fee.

What about discounts for area attractions?

What is your cancellation policy?
4+ bedroom cabins: No cancellation or change of cabin or dates within 6 months of stay.
1-3 bedroom cabins: No cancellation or change of cabin or dates within 3 months of stay.
CFY offers cancellation protection that allows you to cancel your reservation at any point prior to initial use of your key code on your arrival date. Please see details when checking out.
Do you have any pet friendly cabins?
Yes, we have quite a few options for pet-friendly vacations! Check out our wide selection online!
What amenities are offered in all your cabins?
Each of our cabins has a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, stove/oven, and varying countertop appliances), shared living spaces for guests, a dining table and/or breakfast bar for in-cabin dining, and cozy bedrooms. Most feature wireless internet, flatscreen TVs, washers and dryers, decks with wooded or mountain views, and some games or game tables! You can browse by amenity online to find the perfect fit.
What should we bring from home?
You’ll supply your own food, drinks, toiletries, charcoal and lighter fluid (for charcoal grills), propane (for gas grills; check cabin before purchasing), and any other movies or games you’d enjoy on vacation!
We’ll give you a starter supply of:
- 1 trash bag per container
- 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom
- 1 bar of soap per bathroom
Do you provide bedding and towels?
We provide all linens, along with 1 towel and 1 washcloth per person (based on property sleeps advertised). Many of our cabins have washers and dryers, so it is easy to use only the towels we provide. If your cabin does not have a washer/dryer, you may want to bring extra towels from home.

Do all your cabins have Wi-Fi?
Most of our cabins offer high-speed wireless internet, but not all. Please check the amenities list and description, or check with your Vacation Specialist when booking!
What is the check-in and checkout process?
Check-in is easy with Cabins for YOU. Each cabin has an electronic keypad, and we’ll supply the unique code for your cabin 2 days before check-in. No keys, no going to an office. You’ll use this to unlock your cabin each time you enter. Checkout is equally simple. Just shut the door behind you as you leave and it will automatically lock!
Check-in/out times: Check-in starts at 4 p.m. EST with guaranteed check-in at 6 p.m. Checkout time is 10 a.m. EST. We can’t guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts, but you can check with your Vacation Specialist. Hourly fees apply for early check-ins.
Before leaving, please be sure to:
- Place towels and washcloths in the bathtub (We’ll take care of bedding!)
- Put trash in proper containers
- Clean used dishes
- Clean any large messes made during stay
- Lock the door behind you
How/when do I get directions to my cabin?
Once you’ve made your reservation, you’ll receive a confirmation email that will have the directions to your cabin rental.

What is your policy for hot tub, swim spa, and pool use?
Please report any issues regarding cleanliness of hot tubs, swim spas, or pools upon arrival. We will do our best to resolve them right away. To keep these spaces clean and serviceable for all guests, please shower off before using and refrain from using any lotions or oils. If issues are reported more than 24 hours after arrival, any additional cleaning fees will be charged to current guest.
CFY Quality Rating System
Bronze
Overall outdated and/or has worn out elements. There is little to no coordination in furniture and decor. Most furniture items are of lower quality such as cloth couches, laminate countertops, and particle board cabinets.

Gold
Good quality accommodations. These properties are high quality, but all elements might not be considered luxury in nature. There might be more wear on furniture, deck/exterior, etc. TVs are flat screen, but might not be the newest in quality. Might have stone countertops with updated appliances that aren’t stainless steel. These properties have some elements of the Platinum level, but elements are either slightly outdated, worn, or not as high quality.
Platinum
Luxury accommodations. All elements are of high quality, design, and are up-to-date. Consistent furniture and decor in each room. Unique touches such as stone designs, barnwood/shiplap, full log pillars are often found in these properties.
