Location: Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
Area: Smoky Cove
Beautifully designed, packed with amenities, and boasting perfectly peaceful wooded views, Rustic Timber offers that rustic mountain feeling — with all the modern touches you want in a luxurious cabin getaway. Enjoy the best of the Great Smoky Mountains at this gorgeous 4-bedroom, 4-bathroom cabin for 14 — perfect for fun family vacations and memorable getaways with friends in Pigeon Forge, TN.
The charm starts when you arrive at this log cabin tucked among the trees. The front porch with a rustic-industrial style welcomes you in, and warm spaces await inside. Start your mornings gathered around the dining table in the kitchen, enjoying breakfast made easily with stainless steel appliances and tools here. Then take your cup of coffee to the deck for some fresh air and serene views.
Have some fun with family and friends around your Pigeon Forge cabin with movies in the theater space (with theater-style seating) or arcade games, air hockey, and games of pool in this dual-purpose room. Outside, cozy up in front of the wood burning fireplace — or flip on the fan on hot days — sit back in the rocking chairs, have a cookout on the charcoal grill, and let the sounds of nature wash over you.
At night, head back inside to relax in the living room with entertainment on the big screen TV or call it a night in the custom king bedrooms. There is also 1 twin-over-full bunk bed, along with 1 sleeper sofa and 1 futon for more guests. You’ll have easier roads to the cabin, a flat, paved driveway with parking for 4, and a washer/dryer for added convenience. And don’t forget about the bubbling outdoor hot tub where you can soak away stresses on a relaxing Smoky Mountain retreat!
Chill out in the living room after exploring and shopping at The Mountain Mile or playing games and watching movies all day in the spacious rec room. This cozy and inviting living space beckons guests to take a load off on the sofas and armchair. High ceilings expand the space, and massive windows let in natural light and stunning views of the surrounding trees.
For entertainment, switch on the big screen TV for a while or deal a deck of cards on the coffee table. Keep snacks and drinks on the lovely side tables, and use the electric fireplace surrounded by gorgeous stacked stones to set the ideal cabin mood. There’s also a ceiling fan to keep cool as needed, and the convenient space flows right into the dining and kitchen area.
Grab mixes and spices from The Old Mill and return to your Pigeon Forge cabin in the trees to whip up meals and snacks for your family or group of friends. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare and serve scrumptious dishes and drinks throughout your stay. Light granite countertops marry the dark wood cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances add modernity to the space.
A large island centers the kitchen, offering extra work and serving space as well as a place to set up for a meal. Rinse fresh fruits and vegetables in the double sink, brew endless pots of joe with the coffeemaker, keep leftovers in the fridge, bake chocolate chip cookies in the oven, and fix everyone’s favorite movie night snack in the microwave. It’s so nice to have a full kitchen at your fingertips on vacation.
Center to kitchen — aka the HUGE island with chairs — the dining area is conveniently located to grab seconds and dessert in a flash. This space is also versatile to play board and card games together, set up a temporary work or homeschool station, enjoy arts and crafts, or start the next chapter of your soon-to-be bestselling book. You’ll also have additional seating space in the living room just there, keeping everyone connected and comfortable at mealtimes.
Ready to play?! Hit the rec room that features fun games and a theater space to kick back and have some fun. Pass around a few beers or fancy cocktails and start a game tournament. Shoot pool for a while, knock the air hockey puck into next week, and beat the highest arcade scores!
When you want to wind down a bit, pick out your favorite movie to watch in the theater area on the big screen TV. Theater-style seating makes this space feel like a real movie-going experience. There’s also a wall-mounted bar just behind with stools for more viewers or those who prefer “background movies” while they chat together.
Oh-so-nice bedrooms offer a private space for guests to retreat, rest, and recharge anytime. Peel away from the group for a midday nap or read in your custom king-size bed. Flip on your own TV to watch what you want for a while. Or slip away to munch on your secret treats stash in your dresser...we won’t tell.
Most windows feature tree scenes to help relax your mind, and there’s a ceiling fan in every bedroom for added comfort. The loft has a twin-over-full bunk plus a futon for additional guests, and there's also a sleeper sofa in the home for even more space to spread out.
When you want to reconnect with nature or step out for a breath of fresh mountain air, venture onto one of the spacious decks at Rustic Timber. Starting at the top, you’ll have treetop views from the small yet inviting balcony, great for guests who need a little peace and quiet for a spell.
On the entry level, there’s a large deck with an outdoor fireplace, a ceiling fan, and rockers. Slip away for a chat and a sip of wine or cocoa in front of a gorgeous wood-burning fire when it’s cooler or sway with the trees and a glass of lemonade beneath the breezy fan when it’s warm outside.
The lower-level deck is just as spacious and features more rockers — and a steamy hot tub with massaging jets! Change into your swimsuit and hop in for a soothing soak morning, noon, or night. It’s also a great space to take in the surrounding tree scenes and chat with a friend or two.
Out front, flip burgers, steaks, and veggies on the charcoal grill for a fun family cookout or get-together with friends. When you want to head into town to ride roller coasters at Dollywood or go hiking in the nearby national park, easy roads plus the flat, paved driveway with parking for 4 (room for a trailer/camper) make travel easier.
Additional amenities at Rustic Timber include a washer/dryer and community pool access, so you can splash at the pool in summer and toss swimsuits and pool towels into the wash as needed.
Along with fun things to do at the cabin, Rustic Timber offers a great location not too far from all the excitement in downtown Pigeon Forge. Book an escape game, ride mountain coasters, play mini-golf on a rooftop, shop until you drop, eat at all the pancake houses in sight, try locally made candies, go on sky adventures, and snow tube year-round with family and friends.
Plus, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the City of Gatlinburg are nearby, tripling fun opportunities on your vacation!
