Description

Stunning mountain views rest beyond gorgeous golf course landscapes from the deck of this impressive 7-bedroom +loft, 6.5-bathroom lodge in Cobbly Nob Resort. Overlooking the 7th hole of the Bent Creek Golf Course, guests to Pop-A-Bear get easy access to Cobbly Nob’s award-winning golf course, outdoor pool, and tennis court - and a convenient drive to the downtown Parkway of Gatlinburg. Along with accommodations for up to 19 guests, this majestic log cabin boasts a lower level with a second full kitchen, dining room, and living area adjacent to the rec room!

Guests will love relaxing by the 2 stone gas fireplaces while watching movies on the large flatscreen TVs (including a new 75-inch TV in the den and new 65-inch TV in the loft), drinking Smoky Mountain wine while playing group games, and reconnecting with family during a special reunion or intimate wedding weekend. Keep everyone entertained with pool and arcade games while dinner cooks in the fully loaded kitchen with tons of counter space to prep large meals.

Take in all the fresh mountain air you can while enjoying Pop-A-Bear’s ample outdoor living spaces. Two levels of wraparound decks boast a screened-in picnic area and hot tub to relax after hiking with llamas, rocking chairs and gas grill to host cabin cookouts, and a peaceful swing to listen to the soft sounds of nature in the mornings. Take the short walkway to find a gazebo with an 8-person hot tub and picnic table. Bring your basketball for the kids to play on the outdoor goal, a perfect way for the adults to enjoy some quiet time on the deck.

Amidst all this natural beauty and cabin living, guests still get all the everyday luxuries like wireless internet, washer and dryer, and TVs in every bedroom. All TVs are brand-new with streaming capabilities for all the latest apps! Make this year’s retreat, family vacation, or reunion with friends something incredible with a stay in Pop-A-Bear!

Living Room
Attached to the dining room and kitchen, this open-concept living room area is a fantastic space to entertain friends and family during a wedding weekend getaway, multi-family vacation, or holiday gatherings in the mountains of Gatlinburg. Trade gifts, embarrassing stories, and your favorite hilarious moments from the Great Smoky Mountain Murder Mystery Show while seated around the 2 large suede sofas and 2 cushioned chairs by the stacked stone fireplace. It boasts a brand-new 75-inch TV with streaming capabilities, so you can always watch what you want!

High cathedral ceilings, fans, and large windows create a dreamy atmosphere that never feels cramped while gathering everyone for gifts by the fire during Christmas or playing group games with friends. Surrounded by charming mountain décor, share your authentic cultural souvenirs from your group trip to the historical Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community before relaxing on the sofas with some daytime TV on the flatscreen before dinner or your next excursion.

Kitchen
Pop-A-Bear’s impressive kitchen is fully equipped and ready for those couple retreats, holidays with friends, and bachelorette weekends. With more than a dozen mouths to feed, this kitchen is perfect with tons of countertop space for preparations, a stove-top island, and breakfast bar for additional seating and self-serve buffets. With a blender, coffeemaker, and refrigerated water dispenser, guests can quench their thirst with frozen margaritas on summer afternoons, rejuvenating cups of coffee in the mornings, and quick cups of water after hikes in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Serve large feasts on the cabin’s provided dishes and let the dishwasher do most of the cleaning to skip the waste of paper plates – and get you back to relaxing or on the road to Gatlinburg quicker! There is a second kitchen for guests to enjoy easy access to a refrigerator, sink, and microwave on the lower level!

Dining Room
With beautiful views of the Cobbly Nob golf course and dreamy natural lighting pouring through the numerous windows, you are treated to a luxurious dining atmosphere in the dining room space of your cabin. The large wood table is perfect for 10 or spread across two tables to seat 14 to host a fun family holiday feast or “Friendsgiving” dinner in the Smokies. The 2 smaller tables also make for fantastic gaming tables when everyone starts unpacking their favorites from home.

Bar stools tucked into the breakfast bar provide additional space when you are vacationing with a larger group or want to eat a quiet breakfast before other guests wake up. The effortless flow from the kitchen, dining room, and living room allows everyone to snack, dine, and hang out together with ease, savoring every moment together during a long-needed reunion.

Bedrooms + Loft
After long days of rollercoasters and theatrical events in Dollywood, return to Pop-A-Bear for restful and rejuvenating nights of sleep in the 7 cozy bedrooms, a loft, and additional sleeping spaces. Five suites boast direct bathroom access, making daily showering and primping a breeze, perfect for transitioning from a day of ziplining to an elegant dinner at Crystelle Creek. Five of the cozy quarters provide king-size beds, one bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the final bedroom offers a twin-size bed to drift into Smoky Mountain dreams.

In addition to the 7 bedrooms, there is a loft with a king-size bed and full-size bed (with a brand-new 65-inch streaming TV), and you'll find a queen-size sleeper sofa in the game room. Each bedroom and sleeping space is outfitted with nightstands, lamps, cozy furnishings, and brand-new streaming TVs for each guest to feel right at home. Dressers and closets allow everyone to avoid living out of their suitcases for the duration of their stay, and if something has an unexpected stain or is particularly wrinkled from the trip, simply pay a visit to the laundry room on the entry level!

Rec Room
The lower level is almost an entire second cabin with additional kitchen, living, and dining spaces adjacent to the game area. Take turns watching the game, playing board games by the second stone fireplace (gas), and trying your pool shark skills with a few rounds. Little ones and teens will love playing on the free play multicade and adults will love the classics like Galaga, Donkey Kong, and Frogger. Host movie nights for the kids in the loft where there is plenty of floor space for blankets and pillows in front of the large flatscreen TV, and adults can enjoy some peace and relaxation in the living room or in the lower level’s rec room.

Outdoor Amenities
Spend all your spare time enjoying the fresh Smoky Mountain air while enjoying picturesque views of the 7th hole of the stunning manicured Cobbly Nob golf course and majestic mountains resting in the backdrop. Sip on cold glasses of sweet tea while swaying in the rocking chairs and watching golfers swing their way around the pond and across the babbling stream.

Take your time in the mornings, savoring the quiet moments in the outdoor hot tub resting on the screened-in deck (for added privacy) as the steam floats above the bubbling waters. Make it a feast of hot dogs hot off the gas grill, flipping them as you take sips of an ice-cold brew and watch the golf carts make their way along the course.

  • ""Pros: There's a great view of the golf course and mountains from the dining area, and there's a TV in nearly every room! Cons: There is an issue with Asian Lady Beetles (different from Ladybugs) coming from outside. Bug-phobics should be warned.""
