We spent two nights, the cabin was in good condition, both outside and inside, very cozy, hot tub was warm and in good condition (the light is not working, but it was not a problem). We lit the fireplace with the firewood from the stock, the location is perfect, being between Ober Mountain (5 - 10 min). Downtown (10 - 15 min). We had a great New Year, I recommend it to everyone.
Response from Cabins for You
It’s wonderful to hear you enjoyed such a cozy stay and that the location worked perfectly for your plans. We’re so glad the fireplace and hot tub added to your experience, even with the light issue. Thank you for recommending the cabin—we’d love to welcome you back!

This rental was exactly as described, in a neighborhood overlooking Gatlinburg and the surrounding mountains. The neighborhood is highly trafficked by black bears, we had them pass through the property every day we were there (early June). They were not at all alarmed by our presence or that of our growling husky. Being on the upstairs deck was great, but beware with pets and small kids! It's also helpful to know that when you arrive you have to turn on the hot water yourself and wait for the tank to warm. We didn't see the house note-book at first and had to call for help, which is a company and not a single Airbnb host. Helpful to know b/c the turnaround is a little bit slower. All in all a Great stay for four adults and a husky!

Bears! We had encounters with some bold bears everyday of our stay. I'd recommend other guests looking to book this area to do some research on how to mitigate and safely deal with black bear encounters. With that being said, we had a great time and made some memories. The house and location were great. Easy drive to both the town and National Park.
