Amenities

When you stay in a Cabins for YOU large group lodge, you can count on caring guest service, fully loaded kitchens with all the standard appliances and tableware, clean linens and towels for each guest, and ample space to unpack suitcases in each bedroom. But that isn’t all. Most of our impressive Pigeon Forge cabins house other amenities that make our properties a step above the rest, like gorgeous interior design and décor creating a luxurious atmosphere, high-speed wireless internet for guests to upload their pictures of the mountains, and easy-to-start electric and gas fireplaces to gather around in the evenings.

Dining together with a large group can be overwhelming, but the double appliances, spacious counters, open-concept kitchens, and modern designs in many of our large lodges make cooking big feasts easier, and even fun! Gather a few decent cooks (or willing learners) with a couple bottles of local wine from your tour along the Rocky Top Wine Trail and make preparing dinner a laughter-filled group effort as you sip from wine glasses, gather ingredients, chop veggies, and reconnect over cooking dinner.

Sit down to home-cooked meals, takeout from local Pigeon Forge restaurants, and in-cabin catered events around the dramatic dining room tables surrounded by an array of warm wood tones, Smoky Mountain views through large windows, and balanced lighting fostering the perfect family-style dinner vibes. Most importantly, if there are more guests than seats in the dining room, most of our large lodges provide extra seating at breakfast bars, high-top seating, or large coffee tables in open-concept living rooms.

Entertainment

Everyone is excited to be in Pigeon Forge, but you don’t always have to spend money or be on-the-go to keep everyone entertained. Cabins for YOU’s large group lodges boast awesome extras ranging from big screen TVs, outdoor lounging areas, and home theaters to rec rooms, community pool access, and private indoor pools!

Theater Rooms
Bringing your team and their families to the Smokies for a tournament at the huge sports facility, Rocky Top Sports World? Keep your young athletes busy between matches or games with movies in the theater-style screening rooms! It saves parents’ money for theater tickets and lets adults relax kid-free for a while on the back deck or in the outdoor hot tub.

Private Indoor Pools
Family and friends will love access to swimming and splashing around in the indoor pool without having to leave the cabin during holiday gatherings. In a number of our large lodge’s indoor pool rooms, parents can hang out in the poolside lounging areas watching football on the large flatscreen TV while the kids play with their pool toys in the water. There are indoor pools that boast incredible mountain views through the windows, drop-down projector screens, or stunning recreations of natural waterfalls and creeks!

Rec Rooms
No need to leave your cabin during a bachelor party weekend to hang out with the guys watching baseball, playing pool, and drinking local beer…just head to your cabin’s rec room! Pick up a growler or mini-keg from Smoky Mountain Brewery and enjoy a cheaper way to have fun in your large lodge’s rec room, some including air hockey, shuffleboard, foosball, arcade games, poker tables, and mini bars.

Outdoor Firepits
What better way to end a day of fishing or whitewater rafting on the Pigeon River than grilling out and drinks around an outdoor fire pit, surrounded by peaceful Smoky Mountain forestry under the starry sky? Pick up some firewood and s’mores supplies at the local grocer for a fun night with the kids around a cabin firepit before sending them off to bed.

Picking Your Perfect Large Lodge

While Cabins for YOU has a vacation planner available to help you, sometimes picking your own cabin is half the fun! Here are the exact specifications to consider when looking through our list of large group cabins, and be sure to use our handy search filters, too.

Here is a quick list to help you search:

What’s your reason for visiting?
Couple’s retreat, athletic tournament, holiday gathering, family reunion, wedding event, business retreat, or multi-family vacation with friends…This helps you know how many guests you can expect and what kind of amenities you need (handicap accessible features, plenty of entertainment, location to the Parkway).

How long is your planned trip?
Don’t find the perfect cabin and then realize it is already booked for your intended dates! Be sure you check the open dates with how long you want to stay!

How much time do you plan on spending in the cabin?
If you are visiting Pigeon Forge for a quiet getaway with other couples, the location of your cabin can be more secluded, tucked away from the city lights of the Parkway. And it can house more entertaining amenities like a theater room and stunning views to peacefully enjoy on the deck.

What is your budget?
If you are planning to keep prices at a minimum for your fellow travelers, look for cabins that may have fewer rooms but ample sleeping accommodations. Kids don’t mind about where they sleep most of the time and many of these lodges include numerous sleeper sofas and futons. Trade off the number of rooms for more entertaining amenities or budget-friendly itineraries!

Travel Tips for Large Groups

Look for group discounts – From Dollywood to Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies to Country Tonite, many attractions in the Pigeon Forge area provide discounts for large groups! As an added extra for choosing to stay with Cabins for YOU, we also have partner programs with a number of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg businesses and attractions to offer you more featured discounts!

Plan your itinerary ahead of time but leave room for compromise – Where there are more people, there are more opinions, but that’s okay! Luckily, you are all staying in one cabin, so you can discuss plans, desires for your day, and changes while seated around the breakfast table or living room.

Save some money for everyone by cooking in the cabin – Yes, everyone would love to cut into some succulent steak at The Chop House, dip into delicious soup and bread at The Old Mill, and enjoy stacks of buttermilk pancakes at Flapjack’s. But eating out every meal can get expensive. Utilize your cabin’s fully loaded kitchen and lovely dining rooms – all that space is included in your stay!

Enjoy nature, together – There is something truly magical about the mountains, and even more so while sharing it with the people you love. Take a group morning bike ride in Cades Cove (they have rentals!), experience the 360-degree views from the highest point in the Smokies at Clingmans Dome, and take a group hike to Andrews Bald and have a picnic among the wildflowers with panoramic sights. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is FREE to enter, so explore together!
