Description

Spend a week at the lake with family and friends at this awesome 5-bedroom +loft, 4-bathroom cabin for 16 guests near Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Smoky Mountain Lake Retreat boasts 4,000 square feet of space for your group, a location right on Douglas Lake with water views, the conveniences of home, and some fun vacation extras — including a dock on the lake, a fire pit, and a hot tub — to make your stay memorable.

Whip up meals for the group in the fully equipped kitchen, enjoy eating together in the cabin at the dining table (or use it for homeschool, work, or games!), or relax in the rocking chairs on the deck after a fun day shopping and playing in downtown Pigeon Forge. After a big day on the lake, come back to the cabin to toss burgers and steaks on your gas grill; browse the cabin’s movie library to pop in the DVD or Blu-ray player; play arcade games, pool, shuffleboard, or ping pong; or just unwind and take advantage of the high speed Wi-Fi.

At night, climb into your private hot tub for a soothing soak in the bubbling waters or slip away to the master suite for a spa bath in the garden tub. The gas fireplace inside is great for cozying up on cool mountain nights, and bedding includes 1 king bed, 3 queen beds, 1 queen bunk, 1 twin daybed, and 1 queen sleeper. The cabin also has a washer/dryer that’s nice to have when you’re spending days on the water, hiking, or just playing in the Smokies all day. Enjoy easy roads to the cabin, parking for 8 vehicles, and room for a trailer.

Living Room
An open and welcoming space, the living room at this cabin on the water boasts high ceilings with plenty of natural light. Hardwood floors flow throughout, and the spacious area rug adds comfort to the room. The stacked stone (gas) fireplace is cozy in winter months and a perfect addition to your nighttime read or late night chat with a friend.

Plop on the sofa for a rest after your travels or afternoon play in the lake. There are also 2 recliners where you can kick back and relax anytime and watch entertainment on the big screen TV. There’s also a separate TV room nearby with views of the lake and a plush couch (doubles as a queen sleeper), ideal as a play space for the kids or a quiet spot to unwind.

Downstairs, you’ll find a second, quaint living room that boasts another big screen TV with a DVD and Blu-ray player. Browse the movie library and set out snacks and drinks on the coffee table for movie night or chill in the recliner with a glass of wine from the kitchenette nearby. Here you can also enjoy more views of the lake plus access to the lower level deck with a hot tub!

Kitchen
The main kitchen is open concept to the living and dining area and features everything from stainless steel appliances and plenty of counter space to a porcelain double sink and a breakfast bar. Store fresh ingredients, whip up family recipes, bake Smoky Mountain treats, brew coffee anytime, and let the dishwasher help with cleanups.

Just off the second living space downstairs is the kitchenette that features a full-size fridge, a double sink, a microwave, and space to store snacks and drinks. It’s a convenient amenity so you don’t have to go all the way upstairs to the main kitchen when you want to grab a bite or a beverage.

Dining Area
The dining area at this Douglas Lake cabin is just off the kitchen and boasts views of the lake while you chat and dine. The natural-style wooden table has matching chairs and a bench. Combined with the kitchen bar stools and living room seating, everyone can chat and eat together. On nice days, open the door to the outdoor table and seating for memorable meals with nature.

Rec Room
Smoky Mountain Lake Retreat has turned its garage into a fully loaded rec room! Guests at this lake cabin will appreciate a separate space to let loose and just have fun. Play pinball, shoot pool or teach your kids shuffleboard. Adults can play at the poker table while the kiddos play ping pong or checkers.

There’s a big-screen TV in the rec room for added entertainment while you hang out together. And you can play cards, dabble with Megatouch touchscreen games, and down a few cold ones at the wall-mounted bar. It’s an awesome space to make memories and spend quality time with family and friends.
