Description

Ready for some fun and relaxation — with the backdrop of the gorgeous Great Smoky Mountains — in a cozy cabin in Gatlinburg? Sunset Chalet is newly built and ready for a great getaway! Fresh, modern mountain interiors blend with homey touches to create a space you’ll want to come back to each night. From a pool table to cozy bedrooms, you’ll have all you need for a week away with family and friends in this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin for 6.

In the living room, relax on the sofa or chairs in front of the big screen TV with a DVD and Blu-ray player over the fireplace. Just steps away, shoot some pool while hanging out together. Exposed wood beams and large windows simply elevate this lovely space. Create group meals or romantic couples’ dinners in the fully equipped kitchen, and then sit down at the dining table for 4 — and spread out to the living room — for a meal together. The cabin also features high-speed wireless internet and a washer/dryer to make stays easier.

At night, retreat to 2 bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and its own TV. Soak in the indoor jetted tub, or head outside to enjoy the fantastic outdoor spaces! You can relax in the private outdoor hot tub, fire up the gas grill (no need to bring a propane tank!), soak up some sun and mountain views from the lounge chairs, and sit down for a cup of coffee at the 4-person dining table on the deck!

Living Room
Step into relaxation as you enter the open concept living area at Sunset Chalet. Hardwood floors and exposed beams elevate the space, and the stone gas fireplace really sets the mountain mood. Unwind in the recliners with a glass of wine or a romance novel by a dancing fire on chilly evenings. Pop in a DVD or Blu-ray for movie nights on the big screen TV with snacks and drinks piled high on the coffee table. Cozy up on the sofa (doubles as a queen sleeper) with your loved one for a chat or stretch out for a midday nap. There’s even a pool table nearby so you can play friendly (or competitive) games together — with tree-lined and mountain views through the large windows across the way!

Kitchen
Keep conversations going as you make your way to the fully equipped kitchen, mere steps from the living area where pots and pans, dinnerware, cookware, mugs, cutlery, and more are provided for meal prep, cooking, and serving. Stainless steel appliances, mahogany cabinetry, and spacious granite countertops invite you to whip up bountiful breakfasts, lavish lunches, delectable dinners, and midnight munchies! Plus, there is bar seating for 3, so you can keep your sous chefs, kiddos, or friends close while cooking. Not to mention, mountain views are only a glance away here!

Dining Area
Speaking of mountain views, the dining area offers prime mealtime seating with the Great Smoky Mountains streaming through the large windows. The square table with cushioned seating for 4 combined with the kitchen’s bar seating or living room seats nearby give everyone a comfortable place to dine and come together. Clear the table for fun card or board games brought from home or bought in town or set up a crafts area for the little ones. This space is also nice for quiet mornings with a cup of joe and calming view of the majestic peaks.

Bedrooms
Each with direct deck access, an en-suite bathroom, a flatscreen TV, and a king-size bed — the 2 bedrooms at Sunset Chalet are spacious and comfy. Hardwood floors continue into the rooms and mountain views can be seen from bed — what a lovely view to wake up to! Switch on a lamp for a late night read, cuddle with your spouse until noon, and slip into the hot tub whenever you please straight from your room. One of the bedrooms even boasts a jetted tub for soothing spa baths anytime, and both showers feature elegant stone tile! And don’t forget the living room’s queen sleeper sofa for extra guests.

Outdoor Spaces
Take in the radiant sunset views of the Great Smoky Mountains on the deck space at none other than Sunset Chalet! There is lounge seating, an outdoor dining table for 4, a gas grill (propane provided), and a relaxing hot tub. Unwind after horseback riding in the national park, enjoy mealtimes in fresh mountain air, grill steak dinners on romantic evenings, and soak tired muscles in the steamy water. And when you’re ready to head into town, head to the flat, paved driveway with parking for 4 at this semi-private cabin escape.

Other Amenities
Additionally, Sunset Chalet offers a washer and dryer set so you can keep towels and clothes clean throughout your stay. And the high-speed wireless internet is complimentary, meaning you can post trips vids and photos, check emails, and keep up with the Cabins for YOU blog without a care.
