Ready for some fun and relaxation — with the backdrop of the gorgeous Great Smoky Mountains — in a cozy cabin in Gatlinburg? Sunset Chalet is newly built and ready for a great getaway! Fresh, modern mountain interiors blend with homey touches to create a space you’ll want to come back to each night. From a pool table to cozy bedrooms, you’ll have all you need for a week away with family and friends in this 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin for 6.

In the living room, relax on the sofa or chairs in front of the big screen TV with a DVD and Blu-ray player over the fireplace. Just steps away, shoot some pool while hanging out together. Exposed wood beams and large windows simply elevate this lovely space. Create group meals or romantic couples’ dinners in the fully equipped kitchen, and then sit down at the dining table for 4 — and spread out to the living room — for a meal together. The cabin also features high-speed wireless internet and a washer/dryer to make stays easier.

At night, retreat to 2 bedrooms, each with a king-size bed and its own TV. Soak in the indoor jetted tub, or head outside to enjoy the fantastic outdoor spaces! You can relax in the private outdoor hot tub, fire up the gas grill (no need to bring a propane tank!), soak up some sun and mountain views from the lounge chairs, and sit down for a cup of coffee at the 4-person dining table on the deck!

Living Room
Step into relaxation as you enter the open concept living area at Sunset Chalet. Hardwood floors and exposed beams elevate the space, and the stone gas fireplace really sets the mountain mood. Unwind in the recliners with a glass of wine or a romance novel by a dancing fire on chilly evenings. Pop in a DVD or Blu-ray for movie nights on the big screen TV with snacks and drinks piled high on the coffee table. Cozy up on the sofa (doubles as a queen sleeper) with your loved one for a chat or stretch out for a midday nap. There’s even a pool table nearby so you can play friendly (or competitive) games together — with tree-lined and mountain views through the large windows across the way!

Keep conversations going as you make your way to the fully equipped kitchen, mere steps from the living area where pots and pans, dinnerware, cookware, mugs, cutlery, and more are provided for meal prep, cooking, and serving. Stainless steel appliances, mahogany cabinetry, and spacious granite countertops invite you to whip up bountiful breakfasts, lavish lunches, delectable dinners, and midnight munchies! Plus, there is bar seating for 3, so you can keep your sous chefs, kiddos, or friends close while cooking. Not to mention, mountain views are only a glance away here!

Dining Area
Speaking of mountain views, the dining area offers prime mealtime seating with the Great Smoky Mountains streaming through the large windows. The square table with cushioned seating for 4 combined with the kitchen’s bar seating or living room seats nearby give everyone a comfortable place to dine and come together. Clear the table for fun card or board games brought from home or bought in town or set up a crafts area for the little ones. This space is also nice for quiet mornings with a cup of joe and calming view of the majestic peaks.

Each with direct deck access, an en-suite bathroom, a flatscreen TV, and a king-size bed — the 2 bedrooms at Sunset Chalet are spacious and comfy. Hardwood floors continue into the rooms and mountain views can be seen from bed — what a lovely view to wake up to! Switch on a lamp for a late night read, cuddle with your spouse until noon, and slip into the hot tub whenever you please straight from your room. One of the bedrooms even boasts a jetted tub for soothing spa baths anytime, and both showers feature elegant stone tile! And don’t forget the living room’s queen sleeper sofa for extra guests.

Outdoor Spaces
Take in the radiant sunset views of the Great Smoky Mountains on the deck space at none other than Sunset Chalet! There is lounge seating, an outdoor dining table for 4, a gas grill (propane provided), and a relaxing hot tub. Unwind after horseback riding in the national park, enjoy mealtimes in fresh mountain air, grill steak dinners on romantic evenings, and soak tired muscles in the steamy water. And when you’re ready to head into town, head to the flat, paved driveway with parking for 4 at this semi-private cabin escape.

Additionally, Sunset Chalet offers a washer and dryer set so you can keep towels and clothes clean throughout your stay. And the high-speed wireless internet is complimentary, meaning you can post trips vids and photos, check emails, and keep up with the Cabins for YOU blog without a care.

Reviews for Sunset Chalet

  • "I would highly recommend Sunset Chalet. We stayed with my parents. It was nice that the living space was all one level since we traveled with our 2 year old son. There are steps to get into the cabin so take that into consideration if traveling with elderly folks. The chalet was super clean and well kept. We ate breakfast and lunch there and there are sufficient pots and utensils to allow this. The view from the balcony is breathtaking and was super relaxing to enjoy a cup of coffee. Both beds are comfortable. It’s perfectly located about 10 minutes into Gatlinburg and about 15 to 18 to Pigeon Forge. It is semi secluded, as there are other cabins around but not right next door. We didn’t notice any noise until our final night when the cabins were rented a few folks were loud around 230 am. Even with the noise I would still highly recommend this chalet!"

We couldn't be happier to hear your stay at Sunset Chalet was comfortable, relaxing, and pleasant! With the convenient location, comfortable beds, clean accommodations, and breathtaking view, we're glad your Smoky Mountain getaway was enjoyable. We're sorry you encountered some noises issues from a neighboring cabin, but are glad the inconvenience was minor. We appreciate your recommendation, and would love to host you again in the future!

  • "Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The cabin was exactly as described - actually better! The cabin was somewhat isolated in the mountains, so finding it was a challenge - and that was the only "complaint". The cabin was clean, stocked as promised, and everything was in order. Strongly recommend. I would do it again."

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunset Chalet. It felt like home as soon as we walked in. We were greeted with a nice bag to take home with a roll of paper towels, dishwasher soap, and other items to make our stay easier. We were pleased with the cleanliness, the amenities provided like the washer/dryer, ironing board and iron, and all the necessities needed for fixing meals in the kitchen or on the grill. The reservation process was easy and plenty of directions and additional information were provided prior to our arrival. We look forward to returning to the same cabin or to try a new cabin next year."

  • "Sunset Chalet was absolutely beautiful and a wonderful location! Would recommend arriving for first time before dark as directions can be a little confusing and a couple of steep switchbacks, but once we did it we were good. Views absolutely gorgeous, lots of room on deck, nice grill and loved the outdoor hot tub! We had a mother bear and 3 cubs staying somewhere below and saw them nearly daily! Inside everything was wonderfully clean, kitchen amazing and all appliances very new. Most everything we needed for cooking and eating was available. Bedrooms both very roomy with lots of closet space (no hangers) and bathrooms extremely nice. Foldout couch was easy and maybe just could have used some extra cushion, but for kids especially it's good. Our family loved the pool table, smart tv with all the options and plenty of seating. A/c plus ceiling fans kept us nice and cool and with the location and nice locks on front door and sliding doors, we felt very safe. Would absolutely stay there again!"

  • "We had a wonderful time. Hot tub after hiking was very nice and the pool table is a great bonus activity. Everything was clean and check-in/out was easy. I would return to this property. This place is ideal for a couple or two couples."

  • "It can be a little stressful to reserve a place sight unseen, but the Sunset Chalet turned out to be everything we needed. Perfect location, very comfortable, Modern decor with most everything we needed and the view was spectacular. We enjoyed so many activities that were close by - white water rafting, horse-back riding, ziplines and some very good food. The Chalet was perfect for two couples and could accomodate at least two more people. Didn't think we would use the hot tub, but we did and it was great!"

  • "This is the second time we have used Cabins for You. We have stayed in their cabin Sunset Chalet both times. It does not disappoint. The view is breathtaking and its only a 10 minute drive down the mountain to town. We were sad to learn the cabin burned during the fires but the remodel done was absolute perfection. Cabins for you is very easy to book with; from booking to check in to check out everything was great. They give you all the right amenities so you don't really have to much extra to pack. Highly recommend using them. We will definitely be back and book with them again."

  • "This place was nice and super clean. Me and my wife loved it. It is a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg. It is only like a 15-20 minute drive to Pigeon Forge. Just a word for the wise if you have never drove in snow and ice conditions this place is and could be very tricky to navigate. Some of the hills are very steep and has a couple of tight turns. 4 wheel drive or an all-wheel drive would be the preferred vehicles of choice for sure."

  • "We had such a great stay, it snowed our first two days! The view from the porch is beautiful. Cabin is equipped with plenty of kitchen gadgets and linens. Close quick drive to everything! Definitely a 5 star stay! One suggestion, for during the winter months. Providing some kind of snow shovel or scraper to help clear off the stairs. After our two days of snow, it was sunny. The snow on the stairs melted, then refroze and turned them into an icy obstacle. We ended up using our windshield scraper to break yo the ice and clear a safe path. We’ll definitely be back!!"

  • "What a refreshing rental company to deal with! After using another company for at least 10 years, I was fed up with the lack of customer service, cabin information, and hard to deal with constantly, we decided to give Cabins for You a try. I truly can't say enough great things about this company. The cabin was spotless and the customer service was excellent! Give them a try - you won't regret it."

  • "Awesome views!"
