Description

Looking for a secluded cabin rental near all the fun and excitement in downtown Gatlinburg and outdoor adventures in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park? Smoky Bear Hideaway is a great pick for YOU! This pet-friendly, 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin in the trees offers a convenient location near the ski slopes of Ober Gatlinburg plus attractive amenities to keep everyone entertained — including access to 3 community pools in summer through Chalet Village Resort!

Smoky Bear Hideaway is ideal for family vacations with your dogs and trips with friends. Curl up on the sectional with your feet on the ottoman and watch entertainment on the TV. If it’s chilly outside, sit by the gas fireplace to keep warm and cozy with a book or a card game. For more fun, play foosball and Pac-Man in the rec space, tap into the free Wi-Fi, or head to one of the community clubhouses for more games.

Views of the towering trees can be seen through the many windows inside, and they’re even lovelier outdoors. Spread out on the spacious front porch or back deck with seating under the trees. You can hop in the hot tub after walking the Parkway all day, play cornhole, enjoy wine at the table, or cook out on the charcoal grill. For added convenience, there’s a full kitchen and dining space indoors.

At night, enjoy a hot shower or bath, change into your favorite pajamas, and cozy up in a mix of 1 king-size bed and 3 queen-size beds. Keep a reading lamp on to stay up for a chat with your spouse or to catch up on the latest book series. Some bedrooms even have a TV! Throughout your stay, the paved driveway and 3 parking spaces make traveling to and from Smoky Bear Hideaway easier.

Living Room
Put your fur baby’s bed by your feet and veg out for the rest of the day in the cozy living room at your secluded Gatlinburg cabin rental. The room is spacious and open concept and features a wall of windows soaring from the floor to the ceiling, framing gorgeous views of the towering trees. The sectional is plump with an ottoman for extra space to sprawl out. There’s also a large stone (gas) fireplace to set the mountain mood and warm up the space in winter.

Turn on the TV for entertainment for a while or flip on the table lamp to catch up on your reading. The living room is a great place to reminisce about your day in the Smokies, riding the mountain coaster at Rowdy Bear Mountain Adventure Park for the first time or finding the perfect souvenir in The Village shopping complex. In the evenings, bust open a bottle of local wine and sip with your partner and friends by the cozy fireplace.

Kitchen
Whether you want to grab a quick bite, save leftovers from local restaurants, or cook a grand feast for your family, the kitchen at this Gatlinburg cabin rental is just what you need! Fully equipped with everything you need, minus the ingredients, you can prep and serve meals and snacks whenever you want.

Major appliances include a refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Plus, there are pots and pans, cooking utensils, dishware, mugs, and cutlery so you don’t have to worry about packing up your kitchen at home. Set out delivered Ski Mountain Pizza at the breakfast bar or lay out a lavish spread made from scratch — it’s up to YOU!

Dining Area
Ready to eat? Set the dining table in the dining area just off the kitchen to enjoy meals on vacation together. There are extra chairs to make more room if you have a full house. Plus, there are a couple seats at the breakfast bar in the kitchen. You can even spread out into the living room if you want!

Versatile for what you need, the table is great for playing board and card games, setting up a temporary homeschool station, getting a bit of work done, or opening emails with morning coffee. Best of all, you’ll have serene views of the trees through the large windows in the space.

Rec Loft
When it’s time to play, head to the loft that has a miniature Pac-Man arcade machine and a foosball table. Eat all the bad guys and try not to get caught! And challenge friends and family to cordial matches...or downright fierce competitions on the foosball field. The rec space is also great to slip away for a bit to hang out with your bestie or just chill for a spell.

Bedrooms
Feeling tired after adventuring in the national park, visiting local wineries, and strolling through Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies is normal. What you need next is a hot shower or bath and a good night’s sleep in a comfy bed. At Smoky Bear Hideaway, there are 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with shower/tub combos. After getting ready to hit the hay, split off into a mix of 1 king-size bed and 3 queen-size beds. You can stay up, read, or chat with the lamp on for a bit or flip on the TV for a little while in some bedrooms.

Outdoor Spaces
Completely secluded with peaceful wooded views, this cabin rental in Gatlinburg features great outdoor spaces to take in the fresh mountain air and unwind in the trees. There’s a spacious front porch and back deck with seating and tables.

You can enjoy a meal prepared on the charcoal, picnic-style grill at the outdoor table, soak tired muscles in the steamy hot tub, or play cornhole. And when you want to head into town, there are only 5 steps to reach the paved driveway that has parking for 3 vehicles.

Other Amenities
At the pet-friendly Smoky Bear Hideaway, you can bring your dogs along for a memorable time in the Smoky Mountains. No more leaving your pups with a sitter or boarding facility — they deserve a vacation, too! You’ll also have high speed Wi-Fi to stay connected at the cabin.

Along with in-cabin amenities to enjoy, you’ll have an array of options through Chalet Village Resort. You can pop over to 3 clubhouses that each have a mix of game tables — including pool, air hockey, foosball, and ping pong — arcade games, tennis courts, play areas, and fitness equipment. Best of all there are 3 summertime swimming pools, so don’t forget your swimsuits!

Local Fun
With popular attractions only minutes down the road, Smoky Bear Hideaway offers a convenient location to stick close to all the excitement in the Smokies. From seasonal events and local eateries to outdoor activities and shopping galore, Gatlinburg has it all and then some! Not to mention, you’ll be super close to the ski slopes of Ober Gatlinburg in winter.

Play at arcades, zipline with friends, eat atop a mountain, walk across North America’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge, visit an award-winning aquarium, see a music show, and shop for souvenirs in the largest community of independent artisans in the country. Of course, you can always pop into the most-visited national park to hike, ride horses, picnic, bird watch, or fish.

For more entertainment, food, and games, head down the road a little ways into Pigeon Forge. Shopping at The Island, putt-putting on a rooftop, riding Dollywood roller coasters, eating at all the pancake houses, and seeing a dinner show isn’t even half the fun available to YOU.

Hikes to Waterfalls
Cascading waterfalls over rocks and into a serene riverbed is absolutely up close. When next you visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, be sure to plan for a day to hike to a waterfall!

Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery
Take behind-the-scenes tours of the most-visited distillery in the country. Ole Smoky Moonshine Distillery — aka The Holler — is a great place to hang out, learn about white lightnin’, and sample moonshine.
