Start with the new modern mountain design, complete with a mix of log and stone, and continue with an expansive mountain view, upscale amenities — including a private indoor pool and a home theater — and plenty of space for a large group. The 8-bedroom, 9½-bathroom cabin nestled in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, has space for up to 30 guests, perfect for big families, friends, or retreats.

Large windows and deck spaces abound, creating your own private lodge in the Great Smoky Mountains. Here you’ll spend days getting fresh air while strolling the decks, chatting late into the night around the gas firepit, and soaking up those expansive mountain views. The cabin also boasts its own entertainment, including Wi-Fi, a private home theater with a snack nook (complete with a wine fridge and microwave), a steamy hot tub, a rec loft, and a private indoor split pool complete with an island, a grotto, a bridge, color-changing lights, waterfalls, and a large raised spa!

At night, the 8 bedrooms and 9½ bathrooms give you plenty of space to settle in. One bedroom features a triple bunk bed and a futon, perfect for the kids on the trip, and the other bedrooms offer king suites with custom furnishings to relax. For added entertainment and convenience throughout your memorable stay, Sky River Lodge also boasts big screen TVs, a pool table, a modern fireplace, a huge double kitchen, outdoor dining and seating, a washer/dryer, and a flat driveway that makes arrivals and departures easier.

Living Room
Step into the open concept space in the living room that features an alluring wall of large picture windows framing breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains and letting tons of natural light flood the room. Next, you’ll notice the skyscraping wall of stacked stones that encompasses a modern fireplace plus stylish decor and a flatscreen TV on the mantelpiece. Overhead, take in the stunning lighting display that features a weaving of logs and dripping bulbs that goes perfectly with the multi-toned wood paneling along the walls and gorgeous hardwood floors.

Spread out and relax on the sofas and armchairs with snacks and drinks on the surrounding side tables and the coffee table.  Prop up your feet and flip on the TV for a little entertainment in the morning. Sip wine with your gal pals every evening in front of the mood setting fireplace. Or simply sneak away to this grand space when everyone’s asleep for a cozy read by an enchanting fire.

Kitchen
With double the slate appliances — including dishwashers, microwaves, stove/ovens, coffeemakers, and refrigerators — 3 sinks, and an island in the middle for even more counter space, the fully equipped kitchen at Sky River Lodge was made to serve large groups. Keep endless snacks, drinks, ingredients, and leftovers at your fingertips, so ordering takeout and catering aren’t your only options. Though, the counter space here certainly allows for setting out a magnificent spread. Not to mention, there are large picture windows so the chefs in your group can take in the scenery while preparing meals at the cabin.

Dining Area
Open and spacious, the dining area is conveniently between the kitchen and living areas. There are 2 tables that seat 20 guests total with views of the Smoky Mountains just through the windows. Combined with the living room seating and bar stools at the kitchen island, everyone will have a place to dine. The dining area is also great for board and card game night! And it’s versatile for getting a little work done, setting up activities for the kids, and working on your next journal entry.

Theater Room
A welcome escape on your Pigeon Forge vacation, the home theater — aka Mining Camp Theater — is something special. It’s unique and modern mountain design captures your whimsical side with hanging bulbs, wall lanterns, and tin wall paneling. Seating is plush, theater style, and tiered. Of course, the TV is big screen with surround sound. There’s even a snack nook inside the theater room that features a wine fridge and a microwave to keep movie night refreshments close. Movie enthusiasts will love gathering for a romantic comedy, a riveting drama, an action adventure, or a terrifying horror flick here!

Private Indoor Pool
Perhaps best of all, Sky River Lodge boasts a large split pool that’s private and indoors! Stone flooring leads to a wall of windows showcasing more scenes of the Great Smoky Mountains to enjoy while you splash and swim in the pool. Features include a log bridge that reaches a grassy island where you can relax between swims, a swim-in grotto with a waterfall, color-changing lights that look super cool at night, underwater seating, and a large raised spa that pours another waterfall into the pool. It’s a pretty awesome amenity with a unique design that sets the bar for future vacations! There are also chairs around the pool room and even a big screen TV to enjoy.

Rec Loft
Upstairs, the recreation loft is roomy and features more picture windows overlooking the captivating peaks of the Smokies. It’s another great spot to retreat or play during your stay. Shoot pool with friends, deal cards and sip drinks at the pub table, flip on the big screen TV in the media space for a bit of entertainment while you unwind on the sofas, or chat with your partner in the additional sitting area with yet another big screen TV! It’s also a nice place to get away for a little quiet when others are downstairs splashing in the pool, cooking in the kitchen, hanging out on the deck,  or watching movies in the theater.
