Description

Groups, whether family or friends, can spread out across 4,200 square feet of space in the sprawling Glacier Falls cabin of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The gorgeous new build (2020) boasts 4 bedrooms, a loft, a treehouse room, and 5½ bathrooms for up to 16 guests. The sister cabin to Sky River Lodge, Treehouse River Lodge, and NorthStar Mountain Lodge, you’ll find the same high-end finishes and amenities you appreciate in these other great getaways. And if you’re planning an even larger group getaway, you can book these gorgeous new cabins together!

Unwind in the hot tub with peaceful wooded views, cozy up in front of the electric (heated) fireplaces, and spend days in the large upscale pool outfitted with a grotto, adult spa, waterfall, and kiddie pool! The large treehouse/home theater room gives your movie nights a major upgrade, with big screen TV, Blu-ray and DVD players, and seating for the group.

The great room features a cathedral ceiling with a 2-story fireplace, and you’ll also have TVs in the bedrooms, a gas firepit area, a pool table, a washer/dryer, a fully equipped kitchen, a charcoal grill, and easy arrivals with flat, paved roads to the cabin and flat parking with 4 spaces. At night, spread out with 3 king-size beds, 1 triple bunk bed, and 3 sleepers (2 in the treehouse room and 1 in the loft).

Living Room
Styled to suit luxury tastes in the Great Smoky Mountains, the living room at Glacier Falls is impressive, to say the least. If you’re looking for that wow factor as soon as you step through the door, this large Pigeon Forge cabin is for YOU. Featuring a 2-story cathedral ceiling along with a 2-story stacked stone (electric, heated) fireplace, gorgeous floors, log posts and mantel, and soaring windows letting in tons of natural light and tree-studded scenery, this living room is inviting for sure.

Gather around the fireplace on chilly evenings to play games, swap stories, and sip cocoa together. When others have gone to bed, slip away and flip on a lamp for a quiet read with a glass of wine from the Rocky Top Wine Trail. There’s a big screen TV for entertainment anytime and plenty of sofas, loungers, and an armchair to keep everyone comfortable. It’s also a nice space to relax with coffee and friends in the mornings.

Kitchen
Hungry? Head to the large and stylish kitchen that boasts an island with bar seating, modern slate appliances, plenty of counter space, a double sink, and 2 coffeemakers. Plus, this kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses, mugs, and more to make prepping and serving meals easy. All you need to bring are the ingredients and a good appetite for a mountain meal or midnight snack. It’s also convenient to store and reheat leftovers from restaurants in town.

Dining Area
Just off the kitchen is the dining area with a large table to seat 12. Combined with the kitchen’s bar seating for 4, everyone will have a place to sit and enjoy meals together. Windows around the space let in natural light with daytime meals, and recessed lighting is perfect for after-dark board game nights or crafts with the kids. The table is also ideal for setting up a homeschool or work station as needed.

Private Indoor Pool
Woohoo!  It’s time to splash at your Pigeon Forge cabin with an indoor pool! This large upscale pool offers a swim-in grotto, color-changing lights, underwater seating, rushing waterfalls, a raised spa for adults, and a kiddy pool for the littlest ones to enjoy the water. A wall of windows frames the trees outdoors and brings tons of natural light into the pool room. The stone flooring meshes well with the pool’s design, and there’s a sitting area with a table, chairs, and a big screen TV for parents or guests who need a break from swimming. Best of all, having a private indoor pool means you can swim year-round, no matter the weather outside!

Theater Room — AKA The Treehouse
The theater room — better known as The Treehouse — offers a space to unwind or host meetings during the day and a place to watch movies together at night. There’s a big screen TV, Blu-ray and DVD players, sofas (double as sleepers), loungers, and armchairs to relax, and another stone (electric, heated) fireplace. A large ceiling fan keeps everyone cool on warmer afternoons, and windows surround the room, letting in views of the trees, just like a treehouse. It’s a lovely space to hang out, spend quality time with loved ones, and veg out.

Rec Room
In the loft, you can shoot pool, play cards and drink at the pub table, and enjoy the treetop scenery through large windows. You’ll also have a great view of the stunning chandelier hanging over the living room. Tucked into the corner is the media space that features another big screen TV, a wall bar where you can chat and drink, and a sofa (doubles as a sleeper) with a coffee table.

Bedrooms
Time to hit the hay? Peel away into one of 4 bedrooms — each with a TV for entertainment. King-size beds await in 3 bedrooms, and 1 full-size triple bunk awaits in the last bedroom, great for the kids. Remember there are also 3 queen-size sleepers in the home, 2 in the theater room and 1 in the loft. Before heading to bed in the primary bedroom, draw yourself a hot bath in the garden tub to soothe tired muscles before drifting to dreamland.

Outdoor Spaces
Some of the best features at Glacier Falls can be found outdoors. A deck wraps around The Treehouse room so you can feel like you’re in the trees, and the entry-level deck is spacious and covered so you can enjoy the great outdoors even on rainy days. Here you can enjoy meals at the table or simply enjoy coffee or wine in the chairs overlooking the wooded views. Downstairs, the patio harbors a relaxing hot tub and extends to a gas firepit and charcoal (picnic-style) grill area with fairy lights all around for that magical mountain experience!

Along with easy roads to the cabin, the driveway is flat and paved (with parking for 4 and only 3 steps up to the front porch) for easier arrivals and departures throughout your stay at this semi-private cabin in Pigeon Forge, TN.

Other Amenities
On top of everything, Glacier Falls provides high speed Wi-Fi so you can stay connected plus a washer/dryer to wash pool towels and toss in loads as needed.

Local Fun
Not too far from all the fun in downtown Pigeon Forge, Glacier Falls is a great option for groups that want the full Smoky Mountain cabin experience without being too far from attractions, shops, and eateries. Roller coasters at Dollywood, mini-golf along the Parkway, shopping at The Island, ziplining through the trees, and Southern food galore await! Plus, Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are only a hop, skip, and a jump away, giving you access to double the attractions and outdoor fun.

Pigeon Forge Snow
Year-round snowy fun awaits at America’s first indoor snow park that features 15 lanes for snow tubing and a snow play area where you can make snow angels, build snow forts, and create snow people.

Not just a show of world class lumberjacks competing for victory, Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud also has an Adventure Park where you can put your lumber skills to the test!

  • "Our family had not seen each other in over a year. Glacier Falls was just the needed retreat. Plenty of room for 3 families, it was clean, the pool was so fun for all ages and the staff was very responsive to our needs."

  • "We just returned from our trip to Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. We stayed in a cabin with 2 other couples. The cabin we stayed at was Glacier Falls and it was probably hands down the most beautiful cabin we have every stayed in! It looks and feels like lodge. It looks even better than the pictures in person! It was very spacious, clean, and everything looked brand new! Our kids didn’t even want to leave the indoor pool that had a water fall and really cool rocks. The outdoor fire pit was fun for the adults to sit around in the evenings and chat. We grilled out one night and it was perfect! I would highly recommend this for a larger group of 12 .. we had plenty of room and room for more!"

  • "Beautiful cabin with lots of space to gather. Loved the outdoor gas fire pit, movie room, pool with waterfall was nice too. Would recommend this property and Cabins for You to family and friends. We will be booking this trip again next year!"
