Boasting double of almost everything in the kitchen, tons of seating for meals, breathtaking views, and lots of comfortable places to relax or play, this 14 bedroom cabin is perfect for a family reunion, youth retreat, or corporate weekend! It's even easily accessible, with a ramp from the parking lot to the main floor and 2 bedrooms with wide door frames.

Just 8.2 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and 6 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge, Plimpton Lodge provides the ideal location for a large group vacation. Convenient to both towns, it’s close to the dozens of restaurants, attractions, and shops that these bustling mountain cities have to offer. Groups traveling with adults and kids will find plenty of things to do, see, hear and taste, year-round. Nearby Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country are great for a whole day of fun, while the Parkway is home to many places for laser tag, go karts, arcade games, and miniature golf. The Tanger Outlets are also a crowd pleaser, with lots of brand-name outlets offering great deals on everything from toys and tools to clothing and accessories. The outlets also have quite a few places to get a meal, snack, or dessert, so it’s really a great way to spend a day with a group. Of course, the Smokies are known for their various outdoor activities, and there is truly something for everyone here. Kids and adults in the group can take their pick from zip lines, ropes courses, fishing, hiking, biking, winery tours, horseback riding, skydiving, helicopter tours, and much, much more.

A large group means lots of hungry mouths to feed, so you’ll love being close to so many options. A huge variety of cuisines dots the Parkway, with foods from China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, America, India, and more. Even the pickiest of eaters are sure to find something to please their palate. There are also tons of choices for those with a sweet tooth, including cupcakes, ice cream, cookies, funnel cake, chocolate-dipped fruits, custard, candies, and donuts.

You may prefer to cook in the cabin, or you may just need to have snacks and drinks on hand at all times when you travel with such a large group. Either way, the kitchen in this Pigeon Forge cabin rental is well equipped, boasting two refrigerators, two ovens/stoves, two microwaves, and two dishwashers. There are also plenty of dishes, utensils, and other kitchen items essential to making meals in the cabin.

The dining room adjacent to the kitchen has enough room to seat all 44 guests, so you can sit down for group meals with everyone! A combination of benches and chairs provides plenty of seating space, while several ceiling fans will keep the kitchen cool.

After meals, gather with the group in the spacious living areas of this beautiful Pigeon Forge cabin. The log beams and warm wood interiors are inviting, and the floor-to-ceiling windows let in lots of natural light and provide soaring Smoky Mountain views. Kick back in the plush leather sofas or in the cozy seats as you curl up by the fire, read a book, play games on the large coffee table, or watch TV. Seating spaces upstairs and downstairs allow for a large group to hang out on rainy, cold, or lazy days in the cabin. The living area upstairs, with lots of seating and a flat screen TV, is great for movie nights, and the game area features a pool table, foosball table, and an air hockey table.

With so many people, you’ll also want some conveniences to make the stay a little easier. Plimpton Lodge comes equipped with an iron and ironing board, a washer and dryer, a telephone, and high speed Internet.

When it’s time to call it a night, Plimpton Lodge has plenty of cozy sleeping spaces. Sleeping accommodations include four king size beds, six queen size beds, four full size beds, and eight bunk beds – plenty of room for all 44 guests! Several of the bedrooms even feature gorgeous Smoky Mountain views. The variety of bedroom styles – some with one bed and some with several – also offers something for kids and adults. Adults will love the privacy of the rooms with just one bed, while kids will love sharing the rooms with bunk beds and full beds! There is a bathroom conveniently located either in or near each bedroom.

And while there is plenty of space inside, the outdoor spaces don’t disappoint at Plimpton Lodge. There are rocking chairs for seating and a hot tub for unwinding and soothing sore muscles after a long day of exploring the town. The incredible views of Mt. LeConte are unmatched!

Reviews for Pigeon Forge Plimpton Lodge

  • "My Sunday School class had a retreat at Plimpton Lodge. 10 couples had a wonderful time in this beautiful cabin. The view is fantastic off the front deck that hangs in space. Every bedroom has a view. The lodge is beautifully decorated and has a well-stocked game area with pool table, foosball, air hockey and more on the third floor. There is a wide screen TV on the second floor and a fireplace on the first floor, and a hot tub on the deck! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook fantastic meals. We also used the grills outside to grill steaks for supper. Directions were easy to follow, and everything was spotless when we arrived."
