Overflowing with genuine Mountain Splendor, this 1-bedroom Gatlinburg cabin rental for 2 is a perfect cabin for a romantic retreat or relaxing escape for YOU. Views of Mt. LeConte spread for miles, and you can even watch skiers take the tramway to Ober Ski Area and journey down the mountain slopes. Guests will appreciate the ample outdoor space to unwind and reconnect with nature as well as the spacious interiors to play and recharge.

Enter the living room of this traditional log cabin to find windows letting in natural light and framing mountain views, a stone fireplace stretching up the high ceiling with exposed beams, and hardwood floors throughout the space. Get comfy and cozy on the plump sofa for movie nights with snacks and drinks on the coffee table and your favorite DVD on the big screen TV. When it’s cool, get a fire going to warm up and set the mountain mood for romantic gestures or an adventurous read on your Smoky Mountain vacation.

Following the open concept, make your way to the fully equipped kitchen that houses slate appliances, including a double-door fridge and a dishwasher, plus all the pots, pans, and cookware needed to prepare meals. Set the dining table nearby with provided dishes, cutlery, and glasses, then clear the space after mealtimes to enjoy coffee and a chat, board games from home, or cheese and wine. And when you’re ready to play, head for the rec loft that features a full pool table and sitting space.

Outside at your Smoky Mountain cabin, find more perks - including multiple outdoor decks to enjoy spectacular mountain views for miles. Soak in the steamy hot tub, dine at the table for 2, chill in the rocking chairs with a glass of bubbly, sway on the porch swing, relax in the loungers, and sip coffee with sunrise hues every morning. This vacation rental also provides guests with a washer/dryer, free Wi-Fi, paved parking for 2 (comfortably atop a steep driveway), and community access to 3 clubhouses with summer pools, games, tennis courts, and fitness equipment.

Living Room
Once you arrive, drop your suitcases at the door and start your vacation by cozying up in the living room as you take in the beautiful mountain scenery from the sofa. This open-concept space features a lovely gas fireplace, hardwood floors, a reaching ceiling with exposed beams, and plenty of windows letting in natural light and showcasing the Great Smoky Mountains.

Set out popcorn, treats, and soda pop on the coffee table, pop in a DVD, and press play for movie night on the 47-inch big screen TV. And when the evenings get cooler, light a crackling fire to pair with a glass of wine or a good book in the armchair.

Kitchen
The charming kitchen is just steps from the living room, so you can keep an eye on meals while relaxing on the sofa. Slate appliances, a double sink with a window, and granite countertops combine with provided cutlery, pots and pans, dishes, mugs, and more so you can prepare and serve meals easily. It will be easy to make morning coffee, drinks, meals, and snacks in this nice space.

Dining Area
The lovely dining area has a great log table for 4, so you can entertain if you have some friends over. When it’s just the two of you, enjoy romantic dinners by candlelight, easy lunches, and hearty breakfasts before big hikes. It’s also a great spot to whip out a fun card or board game, set up a workspace to keep up with emails and such while away or sketch a new drawing for your art book.

Rec Loft
Added entertainment can be found in the rec loft, which features a pool table and a sitting area with a futon and a reading lamp. Shoot pool into the night, then kick back on the futon and take your favorite book for a spin as the sun sets over the Smoky Mountains streaming through the large windows across the open walkway.

Bedroom
Need some space on your Gatlinburg vacation? Retreat to your bedroom escape at Mountain Splendor. Let the hot water soothe tired muscles in the large subway tile shower in the en-suite bathroom, then slip into the cool sheets of the custom king-size bed.

Bedside tables with lamps flank the bed, and a ceiling fan keeps the room cool on warmer nights. There’s even a bench with a floor lamp, perfect for a late-night read and a flatscreen TV with DVD player so you can enjoy romantic comedies, action flicks, horror films, and fantasy adventures in bed.

Outdoor Spaces
Head outside to enjoy stunning scenes of Mt. LeConte, the tramway and Ober Ski Area, and the surrounding Smoky Mountains from multiple outdoor spaces and covered decks. Hop on a lounger and soak up summer rays, slip into your swimsuit for a relaxing soak in the bubbly hot tub, sip morning coffee in the rocking chairs, and sway on the porch swing with your sweetheart.

There’s also a gas grill for cookouts that can be enjoyed at the outdoor pub-style table for 2 with drink holders and a scenic deck with chairs and a table that’s perfect for romantic evenings and simple mornings across the rec loft walkway. And when you’re ready to paint the town red, head to the paved parking area for 2 vehicles and down the steep driveway to downtown Gatlinburg fun.

Reviews for Mountain Splendor 1250

  • "Cabins for you is an awesome place to rent cabins. They are very professional and courteous. The cabins are kept up and clean. Reasonable pricing and easy to book online. Will definitely book with them again and again."

  • "The cabin was delightful! Everything was so clean and decorated beautifully! We enjoyed the deck-sitting outside looking at the view! We grilled a couple of nights. Then we found out the dishwasher didn’t work but we really didn’t mind! There was only two of us! The steps were a problem when we first got there! We are older and it is very difficult to carry our stuff up 20 steps! I was told there were 5 or 6 steps! After we had moved in the steps were no problem! It was my dream to have a cabin in the Mts. And I think Mt. Splendid met all my standards!"

  • "Went for my birthday weekend. This cabin was amazing and I look forward to going back next year"

  • "We loved this cabin! Well decorated with bear-themed decor. Very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware etc. Jacuzzi was a nice plus and the bbq grill is gas so no need to mess with charcoal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

  • "Our experience with Cabins for You was great! No hiccups from reserving our cabin all the way through our stay. Perfect communication via phone and email from the moment we made our reservation up until our stay (which was MUCH appreciated since this was our first time using them and newbies to the area…all the way from California!). I am tech savvy and a visual learner, so I greatly appreciated the YouTube video link prior to our stay showing exactly how to get to our cabin because it was waaaay up at the top of the mountain! And boy was it nice! We reserved Mountain Splendor for a weekend birthday get-away to the Great Smoky Mountains in April 2022. Fabulous cabin with great amenities. The cabin was very clean (no issues whatsoever). We LOVED Mountain Splendor! We relaxed and enjoyed the surrounding area and were able to just enjoy the beauty of cabin life. Gorgeous sunsets and sunrises and this cabin gives you many ways to enjoy it all. The decor was fitting and gorgeous views from every level (I loved the open airy feeling). The cabin was exactly as described—also it is secluded (though there are a couple of cabins near, the way it is situated is very private). We will definitely book with Cabins for You for our future stays and we most definitely plan to stay in Mountain Splendor again as it was everything we would expect and more."

  • "This cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway."

  • "Cabin beautiful, had everything you could possibly need. Great customer service."

  • "My husband and I have stayed in many cabins in Gatlinburg, and this was definitely one of the best. Super clean! Very private! Great views!"

  • "This was the perfect size and location for us! Will definitely stay here again next time around"

  • "This cabin was wonderful and just what we needed. While there are neighbors around, it still feels remote and secluded. It was quiet and has a spectacular view! The only thing I wish I had realized was how steep the inclines are to get there. I drive a full-sized SUV, and the ascending and descending part of the trip was a little more than I realized. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!"

  • "Didn't have any problems with the cabin, it was everything we could of asked for. Host provided kitchen cleaning materials and made our stay comfortable. Can't wait to come back!"

  • "Very nice cabin. Very clean and well maintained. Loved the location and the cabin. Only issue was driveway was extremely steep!! We were in a four wheel drive no issue. I know my car would have dragged if we had drove it. As for Cabins for You, most definitely will use again and have already recommended. They were awesome!!!"

  • "We absolutely loved the cabin. It was clean, spacious, and decorated beautifully. The multilevel decks with porch swing were wonderful. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans etc. Yes the switchbacks to get there were a little scary but well worth the prize at the end. Mama bear and 2 cubs passed through- got pictures. The pool table was nice- the loft was so nice. We wish we could have stayed longer!"

  • "The cabin was great we enjoyed it very much"

  • "We have stayed in many cabins and this cabin by far had the most beautiful of views!"

  • "My wife and I stayed in a cabin back in February for 4 nights, and it was absolutely gorgeous! Very clean with super comfy beds ❤️"

  • "The cabin was so cute and well equipped with anything you may need during your stay. It was private and the views were beautiful. We were very pleased with our stay. The drive up was interesting, but manageable. The clothes dryer also did not work, but we reported this issue so I’m sure it will get fixed. We would stay here again!"
