Very nice place to stay! We was very impressed, and will definitely book again soon!

Everything was as it said in the listing. We do encourage you to bring your own towels. If you plan to use the hot tub and take a shower you won’t have enough towels for the day since they only supply one per person....

Reviews for Moonlit Lodge

Heather
We loved the location, spacious rooms, and beautiful scenery at this Airbnb. It was easy to make reservations & the check-in/entering progress went smoothly, especially since the cleaning crew had left the side door unlocked. Basic home matinance has been neglected for awhile. A few of the issues: many towel/tp wall anchors were loose, a broken handrail had been fix with a single screw, tv not working, faucet not securly installed, shower door missing seals & a screw sticking up on the stairs that could cause serious damage to someone's feet. We reached out about a few things, they offered to fix the faucet. We declined that interruption. The horrible mattresses & dingy bedding just added to this experience. The negatives outweighed the positives on this adventure, causing this Airbnb to be labeled a "one&done".
Response from Cabins for You
Thanks for the detailed feedback, Heather. I’m glad you enjoyed the location, spacious rooms, scenery, and that check-in went smoothly.
I’m very sorry the stay was marred by maintenance and bedding issues. Those are valid concerns, especially the exposed screw on the stairs and I understand how frustrating and unsafe that felt. We shared everything you listed with our maintenance and housekeeping teams right away and have scheduled priority repairs and inspections: tightening/ replacing loose anchors, properly securing the handrail, repairing the faucet and TV, replacing shower door seals, removing the screw on the stairs, and reviewing mattresses and linens for replacement or deep cleaning as needed.
I also appreciate you telling us you declined the in‑stay repair. Sorry for the disruption that would have caused. Thanks again for calling these things out; your feedback helps us improve.

The Moonlight Lodge is a beautiful place to stay and enjoy some peace and quiet. The marvelous views really take your breath away. The condition of the cabin was outstanding. But as important as the pretty cabin and view are, the same goes for good quality sleep. The bed linens, pillows and towels were extremely low quality. The amount of towels was limited for having a hot tub on site. When flying, suitcase space is limited to be bringing your own towels as the instructions recommended. The kitchen also lacked some basics like kitchen towels and paper towels (had to use a bathroom towel).
Nobody enjoys resting on sheets that feel like sand paper. Also, a couple of maintenance request were made upon our arrival, which were never fixed during our week stay. The main floor toilet seat had broken and the tv in guest room never worked.
Response from Cabins for You
Matt, thank you for the feedback. I’m glad Moonlight Lodge’s views and condition were highlights, and I’m very sorry the bedding, towels, and unresolved maintenance issues affected your stay.
We’ve addressed these concerns: housekeeping is replacing worn sheets, pillows, and towels and we’ve ordered higher-quality linens and increased towel counts for hot-tub bookings. Starter supplies now include kitchen towels and paper towels, and housekeeping checks were updated to ensure those items are stocked. Maintenance replaced the broken main-floor toilet seat and inspected the guest-room TV; we’ve scheduled a replacement if the repair didn’t fully resolve the issue and completed a full property check to catch anything missed.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. If you’d like to discuss anything further, please message us through Airbnb.
Thank you, Cabins For You

Everything was as it said in the listing. We do encourage you to bring your own towels. If you plan to use the hot tub and take a shower you won’t have enough towels for the day since they only supply one per person. That was a little frustrating. This is a very nice house in a nice neighborhood. We loved that it was a ways from the strip so that you felt “Away” but close enough for fun when you wanted it. With it being such a nice house they could splurge on better towels and more forks and spoons in the kitchen. No issues with the house other than check in was delayed an hour. Be prepared for that too! Overall we would stay here again and loved it!

Everything in the description was accurate. We stayed for Christmas and they had a Christmas tree/ stockings by the fireplace.. nice touch!! The rooms were clean & neat. The hot tub was hot/ clean. The water was hot for showers! There were board games to play and pool table. Beds & furniture were comfy. The dishwasher didn't seem to work good..soap kept sticking in the holder so we just handwashed our dishes. The only other weird thing was there were lots of yellow ladybugs in the house. We killed a few, and removed several more to the outside but there were always more. But all-in-all we REALLY loved our stay and would definitely stay there again.
Response from Cabins for You
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! It’s wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the Christmas touches and had a comfortable, relaxing stay overall. We sincerely appreciate you bringing up the dishwasher and ladybug situation—those are definitely things we’ll look into further. We’d be thrilled to host you again!
