Location: Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
Slip away to Little Bearadise, a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom, semi-private cabin for 4 in the Great Smoky Mountains. Perfect for a romantic getaway, a trip with a few friends, or a small family vacation, this rustic retreat in Pigeon Forge features modern amenities, providing the comforts of home in the mountains. Leave your bags in the car and head straight for the porch swing to unwind from your travels, then head inside to explore your home away from home with brand-new additions, including a new metal roof, hardwood floors, and a gorgeous mantel over the fireplace.
As evening approaches, whip up a fresh meal in the fully equipped kitchen, settle in for movie night on the flatscreen TV, and enjoy a relaxing soak in the outdoor hot tub or a spa bath in the indoor jetted tub before drifting to dreamland in the queen-size bed. From spending quality time with loved ones to reconnecting with the great outdoors, Little Bearadise will be your own little paradise in the Smokies!
Living Room
Start your vacation off right by heading inside to the cozy living space just off the front door for a little snooze on the comfy futon. Should you feel too excited to rest, sit up with friends and family to go over planned in-town activities or turn on the flatscreen TV and pop in a comedy DVD to enjoy a good laugh together. As evening approaches, grab a good book for a relaxing read in the rocking chair by the gas fireplace — complete with a stunning new mantel. With a charming antler chandelier overhead and a large coffee table to hold your movie-night snacks, you’ll feel right at home in no time.
Kitchen
With an open concept in the main area, this cabin makes it easy to stay connected while grabbing a few drinks from the fridge or preparing a homemade meal on the stove. Fully equipped with pots and pans, dishware, coffee mugs, silverware, and more, this quaint kitchen is a great space to start the day. Brew a rich pot of joe with the coffeemaker, top a few toasted bagels with cream cheese, and whip up a hot breakfast within minutes. When lunchtime rolls around, heat restaurant leftovers in the handy microwave or order a yummy pizza for delivery — who says pizza’s just for dinner?
Speaking of which, dinner is a great time to let everyone offer a helping hand in the kitchen — play dance music from the living room TV to really get the party started! Rinse local veggies in the stainless-steel double sink, chop a tender beef cut (consider pausing the dance party for this step), toss them in the frying pan, add seasoning to your heart’s content, prepare a few sides, and a delicious dinner will be ready before you know it. Plus, you can clean up as you go with the provided dishwasher and keep things cool with the ceiling fan overhead.
Dining Area
Grooving to the beat really works up an appetite, which means a close dining area will surely be appreciated. Serve meals with ease as the dining table for 4 is mere steps from the kitchen center. When the food settles, clear the table for fun board games or arts and crafts with the kids. Better yet, make room for dessert and coffee after your meal.
Bedroom
Before heading to the bedroom for the night, treat yourself to a hot bath in the indoor jetted tub — elevate the experience with lit candles, melodic tunes, and a scented bath bomb. When relaxation sets in, slip into the soft sheets of the queen-size bed for a cuddle with your spouse. In the morning, wake up to woodsy views through the windows, grab your favorite outfit from the armoire, and get ready for a fun-filled day in the Smokies!
Outdoor Spaces
After an exciting trip to town, head back to the cabin along flat, paved roads and park at the flat, gravel parking area for 2. Walk down a flight of 10+ stairs to the spacious deck and stop for a sway in the porch swing before heading inside for another movie night. Or get a barbecue party started with the charcoal grill. Later, climb into the soothing hot tub to enjoy the sounds of nature and tree-studded views with a relaxing soak before bed.
Other Amenities
While creating memories in the present is important indeed, it’s always nice to relive precious moments from the past. With a VCR in the living room, feel free to bring your favorite home videos to experience a blast from the past on your Smoky Mountain vacation!
