Location: Gatlinburg, Tennessee
Area: Chalet Village
Everyone deserves to be treated like a king or a queen, if not for a lifetime, at least for a short time. If you’ve never experienced the royal treatment, Gatlinburg’s Greystone Pinnacle will grant you that opportunity. This 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom chalet sleeps up to 12 comfortably, so it is perfect for large families, extended families, and small groups. Bring the entire royal family (including the princely pooch!) and get ready for a mountain getaway that you won’t soon forget!
The stately facade of your vacation destination bids you welcome. Cross the threshold, and you’ll see that this distinguished countenance is more than just a facade; it penetrates into the very soul of this regal estate. Natural light from the many windows and soft recessed lighting accentuate every fine detail in the large open gathering room of the main floor. Carry your belongings to your individual king-sized suites – there are a total of five – divided among 3 spacious levels. As you explore, you’ll be drawn to the 3 covered decks that span the width of the home. The rich mountain view is breathtaking, and if you know where to look, you’ll be able to spot the “kingdom” of Gatlinburg bustling below.
Reassemble with the party and make plans for your stay. The convenience of your location—almost in downtown Gatlinburg—will bestow you with numerous opportunities to enjoy the sights and sounds of the city and surrounding area. All that’s left for you now is to choose a date. It’s time to roll out the red carpet! The royal family is on its way!
Living Room
Every elegant aspect of Greystone Pinnacle converges in the tastefully furnished living area. The shades of grey in the upholstery and area rug are offset by the wood flooring and beautiful exposed beams that cross the ceiling. Scenes of nature in the hanging artwork give you a subtle taste of the outdoors, though the inside of this home is anything but rustic. Gather with your entire party as you sit on the splendid living room suit.
Whether you prefer to simply sit, prop up your feet on an ottoman, or stretch out completely on the cozy sectional sofa, you will have no trouble getting comfortable. The glow and warmth from the gas logs provide warmth on even the most frigid winter night. Turn up the flames and lose yourself in a great movie via the free Netflix or Blu-ray player on the 42” HDTV.
Kitchen
You’ll eat like a king with all the capabilities and amenities supplied in the fully equipped kitchen. Because of the open floorplan, the chef in the group won’t feel alone while whipping up delicious meals. Enjoy the ample countertop space and the large, side by side refrigerator that has ample space for leftovers from the evening’s banquet. Warm them up later in the microwave or enjoy them cold for a medieval-style treat. Equipped like a modern castle, you will have everything you might need to prepare fine cuisine for any group, large or small.
Rec Room
Wind downstairs to the bottom level, which is sure to be a favorite among your party! Set up a video game tournament on the arcade-style game at the stairs’ landing. Or enjoy a game of pool in the next room. You can even keep up with the big game on the flatscreen TV as you stop to check in between turns.
Bedrooms
At the close of the evening, or if you just need some quiet time for reflection, retire to the privacy of your own king suite. With the variations of the 5 suites found in Greystone Pinnacle, you’re sure to find one that strikes you. If you seek solitude, you might choose a suite with a small sitting area, perfect for meditation. If you enjoy unwinding with a long bath, the en-suite bath with the jetted soaking tub will best meet your desires. If you enjoy being up early to watch as the sun crowns the glorious new day, a suite with private deck access would be ideal. If you love staying up late, squeezing every ounce of fun from the day before dropping into bed, a suite adjoining the game room would enable you to play without disturbing others. All 5 suites contain en-suite baths and flatscreen TVs. You can turn on the ceiling fan, snuggle under the covers, turn on the TV, and take advantage of Netflix as you turn off the cares of the day.
Outdoor Spaces
Like a king looking out over the expanse of your kingdom, you’ll be pleased with the bird’s eye view of the Great Smoky Mountains and the main Parkway entrance to Gatlinburg. The many comfortable deck chairs give you and your party seating as you enjoy the view. If your appetite should strike, simply fire up the gas grill and flame broil some sustenance for the entire group. Then, once you’re fed and ready to relax, slip into the spacious hot tub that can fit up to 6 adults. While we are considering the outdoor amenities of Greystone Pinnacle, it should be noted that the driveway is vast and quite level, and can accommodate 4-5 vehicles.
Community Amenities
Greystone Pinnacle is part of a greater community of cabins called Chalet Village Resort. As a guest of the cabin, you will have access to the community’s 3 clubhouses, each with its own outdoor swimming pool as well as several other amenities unique to each one. When you want to break out of the cabin but want to stay nearby, you can play tennis on the lighted courts, play ping pong and foosball, try chess and checkers, take advantage of the free Wi-Fi, work out on the equipment, let kids play at the playground, take a stroll on the paved walking trail, or have fun with yard games on beautiful Tennessee days.
Crown your stay with beautiful memories shared among those you love. Explore all there is to do in the Gatlinburg area. Here are some activities you might want to consider:

"I generally like a better view but wasn’t bad. Location was awesome though. Couple of curves down and you’re right in the middle of middle of Gatlinburg. Cons: - hot tub wasn’t hot - so-so view - couple of slow draining drains in tubs and sinks Pros - 5 bedrooms with king beds and each with a bathroom - 3 levels of balconies. One bedroom on each floor has a door out to balcony - cleanliness of property - great location"
