Description

Minutes from the heart of downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Red Oak Lodge is a spacious and fun group lodge for church and couples’ retreats, business trips, and big family reunions! This 5-bedroom, 6-bathroom, 5,000-square-foot cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains has room for a staggering 50 people, with a mix of beds to suit any group. In the bedrooms and cottage, find 2 kings, 2 fulls, 2 futons, and 20 twin-over-twin bunks for plenty of sleeping space!

When your group is ready to relax and hang out at this 4-floor Gatlinburg vacation rental, they’ll find plenty of places to do so. Cozy up on sofas throughout the downtown cabin or relax in front of the big screen TV and pop in DVDs from home for movie nights. There are even TVs in each bedroom plus complimentary Wi-Fi. Want more fun? Play some ping pong or shoot hoops on the basketball goal outside! And don’t forget the outdoor hot tub, where guests can really relax before calling it a night.

Feeding a group can be a task on a trip, but this large group cabin in Gatlinburg makes it easy with the fully equipped kitchen with double the appliances and cooking tools plus a large dining area. Bonus: there’s an entire separate cottage with another full kitchen, a laundry area, plus a game room — with a pool table, foosball, air hockey, and arcade games — included in the price! You’ll also have convenient keyless entry and motorcycle-friendly parking for the main cabin and the game cottage.

Living Room
On the entry level, step into the open-concept living room and plop on the L-shaped sofa or armchairs for a rest as soon as you arrive. After everyone’s settled, enjoy a chat about your time at the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair or unwind with a good read. Better yet, bust open the ping pong table and host a game tournament of champions! Or opt for a calmer night with a DVD on the big screen TV and endless bowls of buttery popcorn piled high on the coffee table.

Kitchen
Hardwood floors continue into the fully equipped kitchen nearby, which features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances plus cookware and dinnerware for group meals. Catering to large groups, you’ll find double refrigerators, microwaves, electric ranges, and — most importantly — dishwashers!

Whip up massive feasts or Thanksgiving in the Smokies with plenty of serving space at the breakfast bar for 7. Brew joe with the coffeemaker, brown bagels in the toaster, and rinse fresh fruit in the double sink. Store snacks and drinks for the whole crew and restaurant leftovers for tomorrow’s lunch.

This full kitchen with double the cooking power will be a welcome amenity for your large group Gatlinburg vacation! Plus, there’s another full kitchen in the separate game cottage.

Dining Area
Enjoy takeout from The Park Grill or mega homemade meals with your group at the 3 large tables with bench seating plus a pub table with barstools at your Gatlinburg lodge. And don’t forget the living room seating just steps away plus the kitchen breakfast bar for 7. This space is also perfect for setting up board and card games, puzzles, or arts and crafts to keep everyone entertained, laughing, and memory-making!

Game Cottage
Kick up the good times in the detached cottage at the property with plenty of amenities and extra sleeping space for 4. Red Oak Cottage — aka the cool cottage with a game room — offers more fun on your large family vacation or mountain getaway with friends or coworkers.

Shoot rounds of pool, challenge your best buds to foosball matches, knock the air hockey puck into next week, and beat the high scores on the arcade unit! There are also several pub tables for cocktails and card games.

This Gatlinburg cottage also houses the washer/dryer for the property plus another full kitchen — with a microwave, stove/oven, dishwasher, double sink, plus dishes and tools.

Bedrooms
After playing at Parkway attractions, attending a conference, or competing for the win, everyone will appreciate a cozy bed to lay their head. Your Smoky Mountain rental cabin has 3 floors with dedicated sleeping quarters, and all 5 bedrooms have their own flatscreen TV for entertainment!

On the 2nd floor, find a primary suite — with a king-size bed, cozy futon, a flatscreen TV, and a private en-suite bathroom with a jetted tub — plus a bunk room with 6 twin-size bunk beds and a group bathroom (2 toilets + 3 shower stalls + 3 sinks).

On the 3rd floor, you’ll find a replica of the 2nd floor with another primary suite and twin bunk room. On the 4th and final floor awaits a large bunk room with 8 twin-size bunk beds and another group bathroom (3 toilets + 4 shower stalls + 3 sinks). There’s also another half bath on the 1st floor just off the dining area for your convenience.

In the game cottage, you’ll have 2 bedrooms with full-size beds plus a bathroom with a shower/tub combo.

Outdoor Spaces
When you’re not hiking trails to waterfalls in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, strolling through Astra Lumina at Anakeesta, or riding horses in Cades Cove, retreat to the inviting outdoor spaces at your Smoky Mountain cabin rental.

A wonderful bonus for the 3rd-floor primary suite, you’ll have a balcony overlooking the East Gatlinburg Parkway with a valley view of the mountains surrounding nearby buildings. It’s the perfect spot to grab a little fresh air and privacy. There’s also a breakfast table for 4 at an outdoor side space, great for small meetings, devotionals, and coffee. Ready to play outside? Move the vehicles for a little hoop time with the basketball goal or slip into the bubbly hot tub for a soothing soak!

Roads to this motorcycle-friendly Gatlinburg rental are flat and paved, and there’s a steep driveway in the back with parking for cars or vans as parking is not allowed at the front.

Other Amenities
Another perk to this massive lodge is the complimentary wireless internet, perfect for catching up on emails, posting trip videos to social media, and scrolling for local deals online. Each floor has its own AC unit to keep everyone in your group comfortable 24/7. And there’s keyless entry for both the main Gatlinburg cabin rental and the bonus (included) downtown cottage, which means you can check in and out without stopping at an office!
