Reviews for Chestnut Bearadise

  • "My family and I absolutely loved this Smoky Mountain retreat! Conveniently located between Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg (15 minute drive to either), this unit offers unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains of the National Park. Pictures just don’t do it justice! The unit itself was absolute perfection, combining high end finishes & decor rivaling most luxury hotels, while maintaining the comforts & coziness expected from a mountain log cabin. The clever floor plan easily accommodated our party of 10; which consisted of 4 adults, an 11 year old, 3 college students, a 14 year old and an elderly grandparent (the latter two are handicapped with mobility issues). The spacious living room had floor to ceiling windows to take in the view. The kitchen was fully stocked with plates, dishes, cutlery, & everything necessary to make a home cooked meal & large enough for 3 people cooking at the same time. Each floor had its own oversized bedroom en suit with comfortable king sized beds. The bottom floor (which we lovingly deemed the kids floor) had an additional bedroom with triple bunk beds, 1/2 bath, futon, pool table, arcade & hot tub outside. An unexpected perk was even though there were plenty of TV’s, they were rarely on. Some of our most memorable moments were playing card games at the dining room table, sitting on the deck or in the hot tub at night watching the stars & our most favorite, watching a black bear mom & her cubs wrestle each other during their daily visits. We have been to the mountains in the past & have seen warning signs to watch out for black bear, but haven’t seen one outside of a zoo. However, we received the full black bear experience at Chestnut Bearadise & could not have been more thrilled. We highly recommend the family friendly Chestnut Bearadise, it will not disappoint."

  • "Gorgeous cabin. Great view! Parking was good. Not enough outside chairs near the hot tub. Not enough hooks to hang things inside the cabin. We were unable to reach someone one night when we discovered the ceiling was leaking over the toilet. Decor was fabulous!!"

  • "Please make sure the fridge and freezer are fully functional upon checkin. Alsi please provide more blankets and toilet paper and make sure nothing is leaking. Beautiful cabin though."

  • "We loved the house! It had plenty of space and very cozy. We had one issue that never got resolved which was the toilet upstairs dripping through the exhaust fan on to the toilet on the main floor. They came out once that we know of to fix it but, still was dripping. Called again the next day and a work order was put in but not sure if anyone showed up as we were not notified. It still was dripping when we left which was not good. I hope this gets fixed for the next guest as that was quite awful when trying to use the restroom on the main floor. Overall it was a nice house and would stay again but wished we did not have the issue we did. Thank you!"

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. We were at the cabin March 15 - March 19, 2024. We didn’t have a single problem while we were there. Everything worked as it should. The cabin seems to be newer and it was clean and decorated nicely. We definitely recommend this cabin!"

  • "We had a great time! Great location!"

  • "beautiful home, gorgeous view and so much room. definitely plan on staying here again."
