Description

Get a taste of classic Smoky Mountain cabin living at Camp David, a beautiful log cabin tucked into thick forestry, high atop a mountain ridgeline. Lean back in your rocking chair and soak in miles of rolling green hills in the spring and summer. Slip into the bubbling waters of the outdoor hot tub in full view of the changing leaves creeping across the mountain forestry in autumn. After touring the millions of lights during the holiday extravaganza, Winterfest, return to the cabin for warm hot chocolate and beautiful snowy white mountains in the distance.

Two cozy bedrooms and space to accommodate 6 guests await your next family vacation, guys’ getaway, bachelorette bash, or couples’ retreat to Pigeon Forge and the Smokies. Gather around the kitchen table for delicious cabin meals from the fully loaded kitchen before heading to downtown Pigeon Forge for tons of fun at The Island, in Dollywood, and around downtown at hilarious shows and fun attractions!

Living Room
Take a seat, kick off your shoes, and melt into the cushy leather couch while a warm fire burns in the stone fireplace. After a delicious  4-course meal and action-packed show at Dolly Parton’s Stampede, come together in the living room for some after-dinner fun playing charades late into the night. Set up a special movie night for the kids complete with popcorn from the stovetop, or break out the board games and have a fun and laid-back night. In the quiet of the morning with the sound of birds outside, sip on your morning coffee under the light of the lamp while sitting in the cozy reading chair. During downtime in the afternoon, squeeze in a quick nap before heading back into town for more fun.

Kitchen
Cabin meals are easy to prepare in the fully loaded kitchen, supplied with modern, stainless steel appliances. Wake up in the mornings and brew the perfect cup of joe in the coffeemaker before heading to the deck for some crisp mountain air. As you put the finishing touches on dinner, grab all the necessary plates and utensils from the wooden cabinetry to set the table. The spacious granite-top bar is the perfect spot for a self-service dinner or a buffet of finger foods and drinks.

Dining Room
Ample natural light and warm wood tones foster a welcoming, charming dining atmosphere for family and friends during your stay in Camp David. Gather around the quaint wooden dining set with space for 4 guests for savory cabin-made meals and family game nights in the evenings. Walk across beautiful hardwood floors from the kitchen as you set the table for dinner. In the romantic morning light drifting in through the windows, plan for another exciting day in downtown Pigeon Forge over breakfast. Share glasses of wine from the bottle you picked up at the Smoky Mountain Winery in downtown Gatlinburg while playing cards under the warm light of the chandelier.

Bedrooms
Two homey bedrooms filled with cozy furnishings make for a peaceful night’s rest while staying in the Smokies. Pull back the warm quilts of the king-size beds in either bedroom before climbing under the covers and falling asleep while your partner watches TV on the flatscreen. Still have a little energy left over from your hike to Rainbow Falls? Finish your favorite book in the soft lighting of the bedside table lamps as your eyelids finally get heavy. In the primary suite, slip into the warm waters of the jetted tub with a romantic fire dancing in your room’s charming fireplace.

Game Room
Downtime in the cabin isn’t boring when your cabin has its own pool table in the loft! Take turns shooting pool in the afternoon in full view of the mountains and lush green forestry through the large loft windows. Laugh and sip on drinks while hanging out in the evenings after visiting the Tennessee Whiskey Trail through Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Or let the kids play up here while you relax in the living room just downstairs.

Outdoor Amenities
With views like these, you may find yourself spending most of your time on the back deck! Lean on the log porch railing while sipping on a cold sweet tea and looking out over miles of lush forestry and rolling mountains. Watch the clouds float beyond the mountain peaks as you slip into a deep relaxation in the bubbling waters of the outdoor hot tub. Before watching your favorite sports team play on the flatscreen in the living room, grill up some hamburgers and hot dogs for the perfect game-day lunch from the gas grill! In the late evening, laugh and reconnect with friends while slowly swaying in the rocking chairs and watching the stars twinkle in the dark night skies. On hot, sunny days, cool off in the community pool!
