Perched in the Smoky Mountains just over 8.5 miles from Pigeon Forge, this charming log cabin delivers panoramic mountain views, a wood-burning fireplace, and a steamy hot tub on the screened deck. An outdoor firepit with swings makes evenings something to look forward to, and with arcade games in the loft, a charcoal grill, and an outdoor shower, there is plenty to keep everyone happy all week long. It is pet-friendly, so the whole family is welcome.

Important Information 4WD/AWD is highly recommended. Travel up the steep, paved driveway to reach the roomy gravel parking area at the top, where you can comfortably maneuver and unpack multiple vehicles.

Hot tub worked well with a great view. The main king bed was very comfortable. We had no issues with water pressure, probably because it was just 2 of us. And the water actually made really good coffee! We brought bottled waters but it was fine from the faucet for us. Kitchen is well stocked, especially with pans in good shape, which was a treat for us in a rental. Everything was in good working order with newer appliances. You may want to bring your own bath towels. Bath towels are smaller hotel type. The driveway is very steep and takes a few times of traveling to feel comfortable, a blind curve where you come up on a home on the driveway just before the cabin could be concerning, but no one was there when we rented so not sure how much of in issue it would be. We just took it slow. Our Pacifica van made it up ok. Make sure to take a wide turn to enter or exit the driveway to avoid bottoming out on lower vehicles. (Or come at the driveway straight on)The newer outdoor fire pit area was beautiful and a perfect way to spend the evening while watching the sun set. We spent most of our time in Wears Valley and Townsend, so much to see and do. Such a peaceful wonderful vacation for us! Miss it already!!

The master bedroom is good for a couple, and the upstairs bedroom can sleep 3-4 comfortably, and the loft has a hide-a-bed and room for a blow up mattress. 3 full size baths so nobody is waiting. The cabin is well appointed and maintained. You definitely feel at home here. GREAT LOCATION! 10-15 minutes to Pigeon Forge and 20-25 minutes to downtown Gatlinburg. There is a Publix and Kroger right when you get into Pigeon Forge. Definitely recommend for a family, a couples trip or guys or girl’s getaways!

Our cabin was clean, comfy, and well decorated. There is plenty of room for several extra people. We really enjoyed having the wood fireplace, hearing the wood pop and crackle as we gazed out over the valley below. The stocks of plates, glasses and cook wear was everything we needed. After reading some older reviews we were a bit nervous but all for nothing. Yes the driveway is steep but it’s the mountains, and well water is a bit rough for those not used to it. We expected all of that and now that the owner haze paved the driveway it is very easy to manage. We really enjoyed our stay in Jackson’s Cabin and can’t wait to go back for a fall viewing of those mountains.

The cabin was secluded and private. The view of the mountains was gorgeous! Not far from all the Pigeon Forge activities only about 20 minutes. The cabin itself was very roomy and comfortable. The porch for the hot tub and bumper table is screened in.
The driveway is steep and a little narrow; however, the driveway to the cabin is paved which makes it a little better. The master bedroom lights didn’t work, we had to use the lamps. The microwave didn’t work.

Jackson’s cabin was the perfect little getaway! The views were amazing! The cabin was very secluded. Overall, we had a very relaxing trip! The cabin was spotless and having the hot tub was great, especially after a long hike! The driveway is steep so definitely recommend a car with 4 wheel drive. My only complaint was with the specifications of the firewood. It was my understanding that firewood was included. There is a fireplace and fire pit at the cabin. After calling “Cabins for You” for wood, they said they only supply firewood for the fireplace which was frustrating. So I think for future bookings they should be more specific. It was annoying to have to drive back down the mountain for firewood. Otherwise, Jackson’s Cabin was a great cabin in the Smokies. We will be returning!

What amenities are offered in all your cabins?
Each of our cabins has a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, stove/oven, and varying countertop appliances), shared living spaces for guests, a dining table and/or breakfast bar for in-cabin dining, and cozy bedrooms. Most feature wireless internet, flatscreen TVs, washers and dryers, decks with wooded or mountain views, and some games or game tables! You can browse by amenity online to find the perfect fit.
What should we bring from home?
You’ll supply your own food, drinks, toiletries, charcoal and lighter fluid (for charcoal grills), propane (for gas grills; check cabin before purchasing), and any other movies or games you’d enjoy on vacation!
We’ll give you a starter supply of:
1 trash bag per container
1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom
1 bar of soap per bathroom
Do you provide bedding and towels?
We provide all linens, along with 1 towel and 1 washcloth per person (based on property sleeps advertised). Many of our cabins have washers and dryers, so it is easy to use only the towels we provide. If your cabin does not have a washer/dryer, you may want to bring extra towels from home.

What is the check-in and checkout process?
Check-in is easy with Cabins for YOU. Each cabin has an electronic keypad, and we’ll supply the unique code for your cabin 2 days before check-in. No keys, no going to an office. You’ll use this to unlock your cabin each time you enter. Checkout is equally simple. Just shut the door behind you as you leave and it will automatically lock!
Check-in/out times: Check-in starts at 4 p.m. EST with guaranteed check-in at 6 p.m. Checkout time is 10 a.m. EST. We can’t guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts, but you can check with your Vacation Specialist. Hourly fees apply for early check-ins.
Before leaving, please be sure to:
