Situated in the Glades area of Gatlinburg, this pet-friendly 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom ranch-style cabin offers the convenience and comforts of home, while still offering the beauty of the Smoky Mountains! Located mere minutes from shopping, dining, and artisan studios, as well as a tranquil mountain lake just 100 yards from the driveway, you’ll be perfectly poised to spend days in Gatlinburg on the Parkway or a quiet evening in with loved ones.
Spread out in the yard for lawn games, sip coffee in the mornings while enjoying the mountain view, or cozy up by the fire on winter nights with a good book. When it’s time for bed, choose from a primary suite with a king bed, a queen bedroom, or a bunk room with 2 sets of bunk beds. A handy sleeper sofa in the game room rounds out the sleeping arrangements. The full kitchen helps make cooking easy, allowing for family dinners after a long day of hiking or pancake breakfasts before visiting local attractions in Gatlinburg.
Amenities at Big Oak Hideaway include a steamy outdoor hot tub - perfect for relaxing after hiking, a big screen TV, wireless internet, a foosball table, outdoor spaces, and a washer and dryer. You won’t want to miss this gem hidden in the picturesque Glades community!
Living Room
Upon entering your Big Oak Hideaway you are greeted by the star of the show in this room - the grand stone fireplace that spans the opposite wall. Relax in the loveseat or chairs with a friend and catch up with a hot cup of coffee and scones placed on the coffee table. Turn on the flatscreen TV and catch up on scores from the big game while waiting on the rest of the group to get ready for a day at Fort Fun. Warm up sitting in front of the fire on a cold morning or use the ceiling fan overhead to add a breeze on a warm afternoon.
Game Room
Through the doorway adjacent to the primary living room, you find a second den and game room prime for relaxation and fun. A sofa and chair are ready to sink into while enjoying a long-overdue book. Pop some popcorn and prepare snacks to nibble on from the coffee table while having a movie night with the big screen TV. Draw up a tournament schedule for the foosball table found behind the sofa for all of your guests to enjoy. Break out the board games and card games and enjoy some healthy competition. Let the fan overhead create some airflow when the competition heats up.
Kitchen
To the left of the front entrance is the open kitchen and dining area. Whether you plan to go out to eat for some BBQ at Calhoun’s or in a more romantic setting at Greenbrier, there is room in the fridge for leftovers and a microwave to heat it up. You might want a change of pace from your hectic life at home where everyone grabs food on the go. Slow down and prepare a nice meal to share using the fully equipped kitchen. Store groceries in the full-size fridge, cook a mouthwatering casserole in the oven, warm corn on the stove, use the counters for prepping the made-from-scratch bread, and clean everything up quickly after in the dishwasher.
There is bartop seating for 3, where friends can chat while cooking - or it can be used for serving when the meal is hot and ready. Available to seat 6 with a stylish light fixture above, the table is conveniently located in the middle of the kitchen to make serving easy. This is also a great place to gather to play a game of Rook or Monopoly with everyone with all your snacks close by. Rise and shine to a breakfast of bacon and eggs and enjoy toast from the toaster and a hot cup of coffee from the adorable coffee bar.
Bedrooms
After an adventure Rafting in the Smokies, crawling into a nice, warm bed is the perfect ending to your day. There are three bedrooms to choose from to rest and recuperate for the next day's outing to Ripley’s Believe it or Not. The bedrooms are cozy and inviting, offering 1 king-size bed, 1 queen-size bed, 2 twin bunk beds, plus 1 queen sleeper sofa in the living room. There are also 2 bathrooms that offer room for guests to get ready in the morning. Each includes a beautifully tiled bathtub, shower, and stone countertops.
There will be no fighting over the remote in the living area, because there are flatscreen TVs in each of the bedrooms so everyone can watch what they want as they wind down and drift off to sleep. If reading in bed is how you like to end your day, there are bedside tables and lamps to aid in this endeavor. Turn on the ceiling fan in each of the bedrooms and snuggle into the crisp sheets as you drift off. One of the bedrooms even has a fireplace to knock off the chill of a cold evening.
Outdoor Amenities
Nestled on a hillside in the Smokies, this serene and private location is a delight to all of your senses. Watch the sun rise or set over the forest of trees as you sit in one of the chairs at the front or side of your Big Oak Hideaway. You can even spy Mt. LeConte from the property while playing in the yard with your fur babies. Depending on the time of year you visit, you might get to enjoy snow-capped mountains in the winter or the changing of the leaves in the fall. Anytime is the right time to vacation!
After a day visiting the 55-acre aerial adventure park, Anakeesta, a dip in the steaming hot tub will help you relax and soak any sore muscles. Have a glass of award-winning wine from the Smoky Mountain Winery while winding down, enjoying the breathtaking view, and catching up with your friends and family. A beautiful community lake is only 100 feet from the end of the driveway if you want an excuse to take in more of the magnificent surroundings.

"We have used Cabins for You a couple times now & we have had great experiences each time. These guys have it figured out! Booking online was easy & the follow up emails explain everything you need to do. Downloading their app made checking in & out easy as well.We have stayed in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. There is a great variety of cabins with various accommodations for any budget. Our first trip was a weekend away with no kids, high on the mountain side with a great view of the smokies. Our second trip was the whole family & the dog. We had a single level cabin with room for everyone & still had a great view. The cabins were clean & had everything you would expect to have in a rental for your stay. I also like that they empty & clean the hottubs between guests. We will definitely use them again. Don't forget to buy your own Barry! I made my husband, because it really was a nice place to stay & i wanted to remember our trip to Tennessee."
"This cabin was exactly as pictured. It has been remodeled and the space worked great for our family. The location was very convenient to downtown Gatlinburg."
"Great house and not too far from Gatlinburg. Plenty of towels. Comfy beds. Great kitchen."
"We couldn't of been happier with our cabin. It worked out perfectly with a walk-in shower for my mother . Plus being pet friendly. Cabins for You thought of everything from extra blankets to the complimentary bag. Will definitely be back !!!!"
"The cabin was clean. Beds were very comfy. We had plenty of kitchen utensils and toiletries. Great location, the video directions were a huge help. It was close enough to Gatlinburg but far enough away so it was quiet at night in the hot tub. We met family in Gatlinburg and the cabin was big enough for everyone to meet and have dinner after a day in town and not feel crowded."
"We had a wonderful stay at this property. The cabin was easy to find and everything was clean when we arrived. It’s in a great location for getting to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. It is really peaceful and the patio area offers a great place to spent a quiet evening. We enjoyed the hot tub in the evening and it was easy to operate. There is WiFi but we had some issues getting connected to our Pixel phones but not our iPhones for some reason. We didn’t really notice since we weren’t there to be on the internet, but if you’re planning on working while you’re up there you might have some trouble. Overall, we loved the cabin and we had a great time!"
"It was bigger than expected..awesome experience for my friends and family."
