Highlights Along Each Route

North Parkway (Arrives every 20 minutes)
North Parkway connects you to Pigeon Forge’s other Smoky Mountain sister city of Sevierville, hometown of the infamous Dolly Parton! Ending at the Governor’s Crossing Mall in Sevierville, the North Parkway Trolley connects you to the everyday necessities like Walmart and ample dining options, too. With Trolley stops near each major stoplight #0 through #7, it’s easy to navigate amongst the busy city. Here are a few of our favorite stops and popular attractions along the North Parkway route:

  • Tanger Outlet Mall
  • Sevier Air Trampoline and Ninja Warrior Park (214 Collier Drive stop)
  • Mountain Valley Winery
  • NASCAR Speedpark
  • Country Tonite Theater
  • Pigeon Forge Factory Outlet Mall
  • Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Adventure
  • Apple Barn in Sevierville
  • The Island
  • Lazerport Fun Center
  • Paula Deen’s Lumberjack Feud (shares a stop with The Track North)
  • MagiQuest (also near the local Starbucks)

South Parkway (Arrives every 25 minutes)
The South Parkway route is full of restaurants and attractions! While it has the shortest route (excluding the two routes to Dollywood and Dollywood’s Splash Country), it has numerous stops along the Parkway and shares stops with many of those on the North, Wears Valley, and Gatlinburg Welcome Center routes, making it convenient for changing it up during your day in downtown Pigeon Forge. Here are some of the most popular and our favorite attractions and eateries along the South Parkway route:

  • Cielito Linda Mexican Restaurant
  • Krispy Kreme
  • The Track (South)
  • Baskin Robbins
  • The Dome Ziplines
  • TopJump Trampoline and Extreme Arena (Plaza Inn stop)
  • Dolly Parton’s Stampede

Wears Valley (Arrives every 40-45 minutes)
Wears Valley is incredibly beautiful with its rolling hills and sweeping views that end in majestic mountains, but it is also home to the expanding local businesses in the area! Many Cabins for YOU cabins are nestled near Wears Valley Road, so be sure to check the Trolley GIS map provided by the city of Pigeon Forge; you may be able to walk to the closest stop. Riding from the Fun Time Trolley Office, riders on the Wears Valley route can check out all the shopping on Teaster Lane and unique attractions like indoor snow tubing at Pigeon Forge Snow. After a few stops near the Pigeon Forge Community Center, the Trolley turns onto Wears Valley Road where visitors will catch lovely views and stop by these great Smoky Mountain attractions:

  • Smoky Mountain Alpine Coaster
  • Timber Valley Rustic Furniture
  • Goats on the Roof
  • Pigeon Forge Snow
  • Pigeon Forge Community Center Pool

Dollywood (Arrives every 15 minutes)
Skip paying for parking or traversing the huge Dollywood parking lots and get dropped off right in front of the magical gates of Dollywood! The Trolley to Dollywood begins its rotation 30 minutes prior to the park opening and continues all day until the park has closed. Had so much fun that you barely skirted the gates closing and lock? No one gets left behind; the Fun Time Trolley continues its pickups and dropoffs until every visitor waiting at the stop has been returned to their car!

Dollywood’s Splash Country (Arrives every 20 minutes)
The Dollywood’s Splash Country route has only 2 stops, one at the front entrance of Dollywood’s Splash Country and the other at the Fun Time Trolley parking lot! Cool off on those hot summer days without the stress of parking near the park.

Gatlinburg Welcome Center (Arrives every 30 minutes)
For $0.75 or included with your Pigeon Forge Fun Time Trolley wristband, this scenic ride is nonstop to the Gatlinburg Welcome Center! After gorgeous mountain, river, and forest views, arrive at the Gatlinburg Welcome Center where the Park-N-Ride is located for their separate transit system. $0.50 will get you to the Gatlinburg Transit Office in front of the awesome Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies! Once there, you can explore the incredible aquarium or purchase a band to explore the historical Gateway City to the Smokies on the Gatlinburg Trolley.

Travel Tip: Bring a few dollars in quarters if you and the family want to simply visit one or two stops before heading back to Pigeon Forge; the Gatlinburg Trolley only accepts exact change.

Magical Trolley Tour of Lights
What could make the Fun Time Trolley even better? Millions of magical Christmas lights! Tour the city on a Pigeon Forge Trolley to soak in the incredible holiday extravaganza of Winterfest in the Smokies along the Parkway with the little ones, instead of navigating the roads.
