When the sun goes down, turn out the lights and turn on the large, flatscreen TV — with a home theater system, access to cable, and a Blu-ray player — for a movie night with the family.

This includes a full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and oven/stove. Along with major appliances, Wanderlust 2318 offers a coffeemaker, toaster, cookware, ice maker, and all the dishware needed to serve.

What you won’t find at every Smoky Mountain rental is floor-to-ceiling windows surrounding you without mountain views as you cook. At Wanderlust 2318, you get both! Enjoy spectacular views as you whip up your favorite family meals, snacks, and midnight margaritas.

Dining Area
Sip coffee at the dining table, located near the kitchen, every morning. This elegant table offers cushioned seating for 4 and is surrounded by some of the best views you’ll find anywhere in Gatlinburg! Soak them in as you grab a quick bite before a hike, sit down for a full meal together in the evening, or play a game of cards with your partner.

Rec Room
Looking for more ways to entertain yourselves than board games and movies during your Smoky Mountain stay? No problem! One of Wanderlust 2318’s many perks is its beautifully designed game room. Featuring a pool table, pub table, TV, and wet bar, this room surrounds you with mountain views as you play, sip cocktails, and make memories with friends or family. This is a great guys’ hang-out or a place for your teenagers to do their own thing while parents watch a movie in the living room. However you use it, Wanderlust 2318’s game room is an addition you’re sure to appreciate throughout your Gatlinburg getaway.

Did you think a home theater system and game room were enough? Well, Wanderlust 2318 is just getting started! Beyond all the amenities already listed, this chalet offers its own spa room. This special add-on features an indoor, two-person jetted tub with a private balcony boasting impressive mountain views. You’ll also find a private sauna, where you can relax after hiking the Cove Mountain trail — one of many exciting trails within the Great Smoky Mountains. This sauna is the perfect remedy to ease sore muscles after walking through Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies or leave behind a stressful workweek. And isn’t that why we plan Gatlinburg getaways in the first place?

Local Fun

But these aren’t the only ways to enjoy the great outdoors during your Gatlinburg getaway. Below are a few other options you might want to check out downtown and in the nearby Great Smoky Mountains National Park, whether you’re traveling as a couple or with the kids.

Anakeesta
Nestled on a mountaintop, this aerial adventure park is a great choice to spend time outdoors. Duel zipline, shop in Firefly Village, ride a mountain coaster, check out 360 views from the observation tower, stroll through lush gardens, and oh-so-much more!

Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail
This one-way, scenic loop is a great way to spend an afternoon during your Smoky Mountain stay. You’ll enjoy views of mountains, streams, mills, and other historic buildings along with access to the Rainbow Falls trailhead.

Cades Cove
Bringing a bike to the Smokies? Ride it over to Cades Cove! This valley is one of the most popular destinations to visit in the Smokies because of its prime opportunities to view wildlife, including black bears, coyotes, and turkeys.

Community pool access is provided and managed through a third party company. Cabins For You is not responsible for maintenance or pool closures. The pool is typically open Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Please note this property is not pet friendly — including service animals. Check out our pet-friendly vacation rentals if you're planning to bring fur babies to the Smokies!

Reviews for Wanderlust 2318

  • "Wanderlust has a spectacular view! Just as shown in the pictures. We have stayed in this area many times and this is the highest point we have ever stayed. The drive up the mountain was harrowing! Thank goodness for GPS, because I don’t think we would have found it with the written directions we were sent. The cabin was clean, although the carpet in the master bedroom could use cleaning. There were some really cool amenities. The hot tub was great, really good jets and big. I wish we could have had it a degree or two hotter. It is preset at 100 degrees, and can’t be changed. We did not use the sauna, but I imagine it is really pleasant. I loved the wood smell. It’s right next to a huge indoor jacuzzi. We also loved just sitting on the deck outside and enjoying the view. I would suggest the owner invest in some more towels. There are only 6 towels in the whole cabin. We like to shower before we go out, then again before dinner if we have been out hiking (it was cold and rainy while we were there, so needed a hot shower after being outside), then another towel is needed after the hot tub. We quickly ran out of dry towels and there were just 2 of us. There is a dryer in the unit, but would have preferred not to have to do that chore on vacation. The other negative was the thermostat. We could not get the cabin warmer than 68. The Nest thermostat is confusing, but even after we figured it out, we stayed cold at night. The fireplace helped and we found some blankets stuffed into a dresser drawer, so we made it work. All in all it was a great vacation that could be made even better with just a couple of little changes."

  • "The view is beautiful, you're so high up. It's a scary drive, but not too bad in a 4wd. Clean, roomy, in good condition, but nothing more modern like a Keurig. Or decent stereo. Or cooking items. Very simple. Hot tub was perfect. Definitely a bear living up there. No complaints."

  • "Cabins4You made cabin rental SO easy and convenient. Being my first time booking and heading a vacation trip, I couldn’t have had a better experience! The cabin was fantastic and basic instructions made for simple processes. It felt like a second home, and will be returning for the next vacation!"

  • "Bear-Ly made it into our chalet! 🤣 got Wanderlust 2318 and was going to get our 1 yr old out of his car seat when I spotted a bear… quickly realized it was a mama and her cub. We had quickly climbed back into the truck and little did we know the cooler we had in the back of our truck was drawing attention to us so they proceeded to get closer to the truck and climb it looking for food! What a sight to see now that we can laugh about it! They were not phased by the truck turning on and or honking!!! Finally they left us and we enjoyed every amazing view the chalet gave us during our stay! The bears were an added bonus when we saw them! We will definitely be back!!!"

  • "Cabins for you made the process SO easy! I felt like there were a lot of affordable cabins to choose from and they all look amazing! We stayed at Wanderlust and enjoyed every moment! Any time I needed to call or interact with the staff they were courteous and professional. They always went above and beyond! So much so I became a member. Looking forward to our next trip!!"

  • "Awesome house. Amazing view!"
