Spacious and inviting, the living room offers a comfortable space to spread out and unwind. Windows showcase the towering trees and river below. And the space is open concept so you can keep everyone connected.

Kitchen

Featuring a large island with a double sink and breakfast bar, stone counters, a tiled backsplash, stainless steel appliances — including double ovens, a standard drip coffeemaker, and a dishwasher — plus pots and pans, dishware, glasses, mugs, and more, the fully equipped kitchen at your mountain lodge has everything you need for mealtimes, treats, and drinks.

All you’ll need are fresh ingredients, snacks, and your favorite beverages! Feel free to bring any specialty cooking items, like crock pots, large pots, or an air fryer, to make the space even more like home.

Dining Area

Outfitted with plush chairs, a complementary bench, and a large wooden table, the dining area is just off the kitchen at your Smoky Mountain cabin rental. Bright and inviting windows reveal beautiful tree and water views to pair with daytime meals and snacks or a memorable Thanksgiving in the Smoky Mountains. And there’s a modern chic chandelier overhead for evening dining, board games, cards, or crafts together.

After exploring the interactive Titanic Museum, beating escape rooms, or racing go-karts among the many Pigeon Forge attractions, keep the fun and games going in the game rooms at your riverside hideaway in the Smokies. Boasting a blue-felt pool table, classic arcade games, and a media space with an 85-inch TV and reclining seats, the primary game room is a fun space to play and host movie nights!

As a bonus, you’ll have a second game room in the finished double garage — featuring a ping-pong table, sitting area, dartboard, cornhole setup, and foosball table. There’s also storage for your own games or outdoor gear from home.

Take in the natural beauty and breathtaking views of the French Broad River from the fire table, sitting areas, or bubbly hot tub on the 2 large decks — with glass and log railing. Downstairs, you’ll find a quaint patio with a porch swing overlooking the water and beckoning yard.

For more fun, fire up the gas grill for mountain cookouts on nice days and take your meal down to the water’s edge at the outdoor dining table with hanging lights among the trees. There’s also a bench right on the riverbank, where you can relax with the sound of the water flowing while reading a book, sipping wine, or cuddling with your partner.

When the evening settles, head to the main fire table beneath the night’s twinkling sky to roast marshmallows and swap stories. A winding path leads to several outdoor spaces right by the water, so your group can experience riverside relaxation how you want!

Island Pointe Golf Club
Set on 175 acres of gorgeous Smoky Mountain landscape with riverbanks, towering trees, and mountain vistas, this links-style golf course has been serving beginners and seasoned golfers since 1991.

Mutton Hollow Landing
Just 3.8 miles around the French Broad River bend from your cozy cabin, you’ll find easy access to a launch point for kayaking or canoeing. There are also boat rentals and shuttle services in the area.

Soaky Mountain Waterpark
Splash, swim, and wade at Soaky Mountain — a family-friendly waterpark with slides, rides, pads, kid zones, water obstacles, an adventure river, a wave pool, and more for summer fun in the Smokies!

Important Information

Keep in mind the French Broad River is downstream from Douglas Dam, so currents can be strong at times. For this reason, we do not recommend entering or fishing in the water. Any water activity is at the guests’ own risk. However, there are several entry points along the river within a short drive from the property, so you can easily rent a boat or bring your own water vessels to play.

Paths leading to the yard space and water are gravel and wood.

Roads to this property are paved and easy to navigate, leading to paved parking with space for up to 3 vehicles; there are 5 steps up to reach the covered porch. Plus, you’ll be less than 30 minutes from McGhee Tyson Airport.

Please note this property is not pet friendly — including service animals. Check out our pet-friendly cabins if you're planning to bring fur babies to the Smokies!

Reviews for Tranquility Paradise

  • "I don’t think I can say enough good things about this place. The home was beautiful, inside and out. It was so peaceful and quiet no matter what time of day. I hope to one day stay there again. It made the stay worth the drive and money. 10/10!"

  • "This cabin was so amazing that my group of friends want to rent this out every year for our college homecoming"

  • "Amazing place! Private yet not too far from the city, restaurants, and fun activities! We enjoyed our family vacation here!"

  • "Beautiful home. Very spacious and peaceful."

  • "We enjoyed our stay! Had all the amenities that a group of friends could want! About a 30-minute drive to Knoxville. Great location."

  • "The place was great, definitely will be staying here again. The only cons I had were the lower porch, where the hot tub was, had a bunch of debris from the trees. Easy clean up nothing to really complain about. The other con was no easy access to the river, so if you want to fish/swim good luck. This place would be crazy if it had a dock, definitely something they should look into. Other than that I will definitely recommend this place really peaceful and fun!"

  • "Amazing home, our kids truly enjoyed staying here as well as the game room."

  • "Spacious contemporary cabin with plenty of room for two families. Lots of outdoor space as well. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, just read the details and bring extra paper towels and cooking spray. Bathrooms were updated and clean, but did not include toiletries, a hair dryer, or extra TP! Location was in the country but central for regional activities. We would return!"
