The 1-bedroom +loft, 2-bathroom cabin has room to sleep up to 10 guests, making it great for a family vacation or a getaway with friends. From homey conveniences to some fun extras – plus nice community amenities – The Great Outdoors will keep both adults and kids happy on a Smoky Mountain vacation!
The inviting living room here features a plump sofa and chair, a coffee table big enough for card games or a board game, an electric (heat) fireplace and a fan for warm summer days, tabletop lamps for reading, and a big screen TV. The kitchen nearby is fully equipped for in-cabin meals, and the rustic log table features chair and bench seating. For playtime, the rec room has a big screen TV, pool table, 2 Xbox systems, and arcade console! There are also bunk beds here, which the kids will love!
At night, spread out across 1 twin bunk, 1 queen bunk, 2 sleeper sofas, and 1 king bed throughout the cabin. For some romance, climb into the heart-shaped jetted tub before heading to sleep! The exteriors are equally comfortable, with rocking chairs on the deck, a hot tub, a picnic-style charcoal grill, and a porch swing with mountain views! And don’t forget the conveniences that include DVD and Blu-ray players plus a washer/dryer!
Living Room
Situated near the kitchen and dining table, the living room of The Great Outdoors is perfect for letting guests chat and hang out – no matter what they’re doing. Spend relaxing afternoons unwinding on the sofa by the fireplace, watching TV on the big screen, or just reading by lamplight. After you’ve spent the day exploring downtown Gatlinburg or hiking in the national park, you’ll appreciate this welcoming and inviting space with family and friends.
Kitchen
Want to save some money by cooking in the cabin or just love creating your own meals and snacks? Take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen in The Great Outdoors, which is outfitted with black appliances, dishes and glassware, utensils and cookware, and counter space for prepping meals.
Just steps away, the dining table has space for 6 guests, great for family-style meals and holiday spreads. Or you can enjoy romantic couples’ dinners here. And when mealtime is over, you can set up board games and card games, crafts for the kids, and more!
Rec Room | Bunk Room
The bunk room doubles as a rec room here, which is perfect for the kids in the group! They’ll love getting to sleep in the game room, where they can also play arcade games, shoot pool, or flip on the big screen TV with Blu-ray player. There’s a high-top table in the corner, so you can sit for snacks and drinks when you’re not playing.
Bedrooms
In the primary bedroom, climb into your king-size bed to relax. You’ll have a ceiling fan to cool off, a reading chair in the corner, a dresser, and your own TV. Oh, and don’t forget about the heart-shaped jetted tub for romantic nights. A second sleeping space doubles as the rec room, where you’ll find 2 sets of queen-size bunk beds great for kids or adults!
Outdoor Spaces
Whether you want to start your mornings with nature views or end the evenings with some fresh air before bed, the outdoor spaces at The Great Outdoors will give you the space to do it. Step onto the deck to sit back in the rocking chairs with a cup of coffee or a good book, climb into the outdoor hot tub for soothing soaks, or toss some food on the grill for a cookout on a nice day. On the front porch, enjoy mountain views from your rocking chairs or porch swing as you listen to the sounds of nature and breathe in that fresh mountain air. You’ll also have flat, paved parking for easy arrivals.
Local Fun
Gatlinburg offers so much in the way of entertainment, from go-karts and mini-golf to arcades and moonshine. You can listen to live music, stroll along the Parkway, check out local stores and art galleries, and much more.
Ole Smoky Moonshine Holler
If you’re walking along the Parkway, you’re likely to hear the live music from the Ole Smoky Moonshine Holler. You can sip and sample moonshine, pick up a jar to take back to the cabin, and tap your toes to the sounds of the Smokies.

A Staple in the Smokies, the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community is a collection of local artisans who showcase their incredible one-of-a-kind work year-round.

Each of our cabins has a fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator, stove/oven, and varying countertop appliances), shared living spaces for guests, a dining table and/or breakfast bar for in-cabin dining, and cozy bedrooms. Most feature wireless internet, flatscreen TVs, washers and dryers, decks with wooded or mountain views, and some games or game tables! You can browse by amenity online to find the perfect fit.
You’ll supply your own food, drinks, toiletries, charcoal and lighter fluid (for charcoal grills), propane (for gas grills; check cabin before purchasing), and any other movies or games you’d enjoy on vacation!

We provide all linens, along with 1 towel and 1 washcloth per person (based on property sleeps advertised). Many of our cabins have washers and dryers, so it is easy to use only the towels we provide. If your cabin does not have a washer/dryer, you may want to bring extra towels from home.
Most of our cabins offer high-speed wireless internet, but not all. Please check the amenities list and description, or check with your Vacation Specialist when booking!
Check-in is easy with Cabins for YOU. Each cabin has an electronic keypad, and we’ll supply the unique code for your cabin 2 days before check-in. No keys, no going to an office. You’ll use this to unlock your cabin each time you enter. Checkout is equally simple. Just shut the door behind you as you leave and it will automatically lock!
Check-in/out times: Check-in starts at 4 p.m. EST with guaranteed check-in at 6 p.m. Checkout time is 10 a.m. EST. We can’t guarantee early check-ins or late checkouts, but you can check with your Vacation Specialist. Hourly fees apply for early check-ins.

Please report any issues regarding cleanliness of hot tubs, swim spas, or pools upon arrival. We will do our best to resolve them right away. To keep these spaces clean and serviceable for all guests, please shower off before using and refrain from using any lotions or oils. If issues are reported more than 24 hours after arrival, any additional cleaning fees will be charged to current guest.
Overall outdated and/or has worn out elements. There is little to no coordination in furniture and decor. Most furniture items are of lower quality such as cloth couches, laminate countertops, and particle board cabinets.
Average quality accommodations. Will have some good quality and some low quality elements. Things such as a mixture of flatscreen and tube tvs, good quality furniture but worn out and not consistent, particle board cabinets and laminate countertops with updated appliances, or updated appliances but not consistent. These properties have elements of a Bronze and Gold level.
Good quality accommodations. These properties are high quality, but all elements might not be considered luxury in nature. There might be more wear on furniture, deck/exterior, etc. TVs are flat screen, but might not be the newest in quality. Might have stone countertops with updated appliances that aren’t stainless steel. These properties have some elements of the Platinum level, but elements are either slightly outdated, worn, or not as high quality.
Luxury accommodations. All elements are of high quality, design, and are up-to-date. Consistent furniture and decor in each room. Unique touches such as stone designs, barnwood/shiplap, full log pillars are often found in these properties.
