What an incredible view! Situated at the top of the desirable Bear Creek Crossing Resort, Still Life welcomes you (and your dog) home with amazing Smoky Mountain views to start a great vacation. If you’re seeking a respite from busy days and the fast pace of life, you’ll find peace at Still Life. Plus, it’s just 3 miles from the Pigeon Forge Parkway, keeping you close to Cades Cove, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, downtown Gatlinburg, and all the fun of the area.
This newly renovated pet friendly cabin blends style and function, with all new décor and furnishings throughout. You can start early mornings with the sounds of the songbirds and then whip up breakfast in the fully stocked kitchen — or enjoy a nice meal in town, with leftovers to bring back to the cabin. As the sun rises beyond your front porch, watch the mist in the valley below slowly fade away into a beautiful new day in the Smokies. At night, drift to sleep on a comforting Sterns and Foster pillow top mattress.
The gated Bear Creek Crossing Resort offers indoor and outdoor pools, along with a miniature golf course for some fun! Downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have tons of attractions, restaurants, and shops, ensuring you enjoy every minute of your vacation. When you head back to your cabin, you’ll have big screen TVs and plenty of entertainment with a pool table, video games on the Xbox 360, and a multicade console! And as the day fades into night, watch the vibrant sunset over the mountains and valleys as you soak in the hot tub and unwind. It’s the Still Life.
After your travels, leave your bags at the front door and stroll into the inviting living room that features an open concept with sky high ceilings, exposed beams, hardwood floors, charming décor, and a stacked stone (gas) fireplace. Leave your bags at the door and head for the sofa to rest and check out the nature views through the windows.
As evening approaches, flip on the big screen TV, pop in a DVD or Blu-ray disc from the movie library, pile savory snacks, candy bars, and soda pop on the barrel coffee table, and press play for movie night at Still Life! The recliner is great for unwinding with a cold one and a show, or hop in the glider for a cozy read by a crackling fire on cooler nights. The living space is also perfect for meeting in the mornings and sipping coffee in your PJs.
Near the living area lies the fully equipped kitchen with sleek appliances, a stainless steel double sink with window, and extra work space with the dining table in the center. Store fresh ingredients in the fridge, make a pot or single cup of joe with the double duty coffeemaker, brown bagels in the toaster, prepare hot meals on the stove, bake fresh treats in the oven, and reheat leftovers in the microwave. Best of all, let the helpful dishwasher take care of the messes!
Along with functioning as an extension of the kitchen, the dining area at Still Life is convenient for grabbing seconds or serving dessert. The wooden table seats 4 comfortably, and the living room nearby provides extra seating space. After meals, clear the table for board games at the cabin, arts and crafts with the little ones, or gossip with your best pals and a few rounds of wine.
Ready to play? Head to the rec loft at Still Life that features fun amenities for any age. Shoot pool with friends, challenge the high scores on the Multicade arcade unit, belt out your best with the karaoke machine, and play video games on the Xbox 360 and big screen TV. There’s also a sofa to chill out and watch the gaming competition unfold plus a pub table with views of the Smokies, perfect for dealing a few hands and tossing back a few drinks.
When everyone’s ready for bed, set up the 2 queen sleepers in the home and head to dreamland in the spacious bedroom suite. Draw the curtains so you can sleep in the log king bed peacefully until you wish. Turn on the flatscreen TV for entertainment in bed anytime, set the mountain mood with the gas fireplace, and enjoy spa baths with bubbles, scented candles, and bamboo tunes in the room’s indoor jetted tub. There are also 2 full bathrooms in the home for your convenience.
Step onto the covered deck to take in the treelined Smoky Mountain views with a glass of tea in the rocking chairs or opt for breakfast at the outdoor table for 2. The gas grill is ideal for cabin cookouts, and the hot tub is the perfect solution to tired muscles. When you’re ready to head into town, head 4 steps onto the parking area for 3 (room for a trailer) along the paved driveway and take easy roads into downtown Pigeon Forge!
As part of Bear Creek Crossing Resort, Still Life provides indoor and outdoor community pool access so you can splash and swim any time of year! There’s also a miniature golf course, so don’t forget to bring your best putters.
This Pigeon Forge cabin is pet friendly so you can bring your precious pups along to play in the Smokies. Read by the fireplace with Fido snuggled by your feet, play with their favorite toys, adventure on pet friendly trails, and grab midnight munchies together.
If you’re looking to pack light, the provided washer and dryer set will do the trick! And tap into the complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi to post trip vids and pics or search for more to do in town whenever you please.
Just 3 miles from the heart of Pigeon Forge, Still Life gives you a good taste of the cabin life without steering too far from fun attractions, pancake houses, country chic boutiques, and oh-so-much more in town.
