Enter the large, cozy living room at Mountain Shadows Lodge, where a gas fireplace accompanies a stone wall, hardwood floors and exposed beams give it that cabin feel, and windows all around brighten up the space. It’s the perfect room to gather the gang for morning chats about the day’s activities or take a little time to relax with entertainment on the big screen TV and cuddles in front of a dazzling fire. There are 2 sofas and multiple armchairs plus a covered outdoor area with seating so everyone can sit back and recline with the peace of the mountains.
Follow the hall to the fully equipped kitchen, featuring top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, tons of counter space, a spacious sink, a stylish skylight overhead, and bar seating for 3. Whether you’re storing snacks, whipping up homemade meals, or reheating restaurant leftovers, this kitchen has you covered. Fix hearty breakfasts on the large gas range with griddle, bake twice the sweet treats in the double ovens, pop everyone’s movie night favorite in the microwave, keep ingredients fresh in the huge refrigerator, and grab a cup of joe whenever you please from the Keurig. There’s even a handy dishwasher to help clean up the messes!
Just off the kitchen lies the open dining area with a large wooden table with 6 chairs. There are 2 benches nearby, great for packing in a few more at the table, and don’t forget the 3 bar stools in the kitchen. Plus, the living area seating isn’t far away, and the outdoor spaces here offer dining options in nature. The dining area is also a nice place to set up a board game (provided at the cabin) and play with family and friends before or after meals.
Ready to amp up playtime? Head to the rec space open to the dining area (so kids can play while the grownups chat) for air hockey matches, exciting rounds at the pool table, and arcade battles! Here you’ll also find a small table, great for catching up with a cold one and playing card games brought from home, and a mounted flatscreen TV for entertainment while you play.
