Location: Pigeon Forge, Tennessee
Area: Keatons Bear Cove Creek Retreat
Tucked among the trees in the Great Smoky Mountains, this classic 3-bedroom log cabin boasts 3 ½ bathrooms, space for up to 8 guests, modern amenities, and plenty of mountain charm. You’ll find comfort, fun, and relaxation in this space — both inside and out! After you’ve explored downtown Pigeon Forge or played at Dollywood — just a few miles away — you can come back to the pet-friendly Keaton’s Wild Animal Cabin to relax, unwind, and enjoy time with family, friends, and Fido.
Start your days with a cup of hot coffee in the rocking chairs on the deck as you look out over the trees and enjoy the fresh air. The open kitchen has plenty of counter space, dishes, and appliances for creating meals in the cabin, and the living room is the perfect place to cozy up on the sofa in front of the electric (with heat) fireplace. Bedrooms feature king and queen-size beds, the deck has a dining table and grill for cookouts, and the firepit outside is the perfect place to make s’mores and chat late into the night!
For a soothing soak before bed, head to the bubbly hot tub outdoors. Or have some fun in the cabin while shooting pool or flipping on one of the flatscreen TVs found throughout the cabin. You’ll even have wireless internet so you can keep up with what’s happening in town via our blog. And don’t overlook the conveniences of a washer and dryer plus a flat, paved parking area!
Kick off your memorable vacation with a rest in the living room, featuring hardwood floors, exposed beams, a plush sectional with reclining capabilities, and a cozy recliner. Pile snacks and drinks on the coffee table with entertainment on the flatscreen TV or clear the space for playing board and card games from home. On chilly eves, get cozy with a good read by the electric, heated fireplace and bust out a few rounds of homemade cocoa from the nearby kitchen.
No matter the time of day — be it breakfast, lunch, dinner, or midnight snack time — the kitchen at Keaton’s Wild Animal Cabin is fully equipped and ready to cook! Stainless-steel appliances, a porcelain double sink, and spacious countertops make preparing homemade meals easy. Store fresh ingredients in the oversized fridge, brown bagels in the toaster, brew pots of joe in the coffeemaker, warm biscuits in the oven, and stew veggies on the stove. And reheating leftovers for a large group is a breeze with 2 microwaves!
When everyone’s ready to sit down for a meal, lay out a spread on the buffet and set the round wooden table for 6 in the dining area, located in the kitchen’s center. Additional guests can easily be seated in the living area mere feet away, keeping the whole gang connected for laughs and convos at mealtimes. The dining area is also an ideal space to sip coffee and plan the day’s in-town activities before the late-risers awaken.
Entertaining a group at Keaton’s Wild Animal Cabin is a cinch with the pool table and formal living area downstairs plus the lounge area upstairs. Play rousing rounds of pool with your best pals and a few cold ones or watch TV with family while chatting and relaxing on the sofas and armchairs with your feet propped up on the ottoman. In the upstairs lounge, hang out with friends on the sofas while the little ones roughhouse on the large area rug and color masterpieces at the small table. There’s also another flatscreen TV here for extra entertainment!
Ready to hit the hay after a day of hiking, biking, and horseback riding in the national park? Keaton’s Wild Animal Cabin boasts 3 cozy bedrooms — 2 with a king-size bed, the other with 2 queen-size beds, and each with a ceiling fan and a flatscreen TV! The king bedrooms even offer extra seating and come with their own en-suite bathroom; one even harbors an indoor jetted tub perfect for spa baths. And for additional guests 3 sleeper sofas await throughout the home, meaning up to 8 guests can sleep comfortably at Keaton’s Wild Animal Cabin.
Tranquil wooded views surround Keaton’s Wild Animal Cabin, giving you that true cabin feel. Spend time with friends and family on the deck rocking chairs with a mug of hot coffee in the mornings and head for the firepit every evening for spooky ghost stories and scrumptious campfire s’mores! On nice afternoons, fire up the gas grill for yummy cookouts with pre-meal chips and dips on the outdoor dining table. After a full day of fun in town and at the cabin, soothe tired muscles in the bubbly outdoor hot tub! And if you’re still raring to go, head down 3 easy steps onto the flat, paved driveway, pile into the cars (3-4 vehicles at most), and paint the town red!

Average quality accommodations. Will have some good quality and some low quality elements. Things such as a mixture of flatscreen and tube tvs, good quality furniture but worn out and not consistent, particle board cabinets and laminate countertops with updated appliances, or updated appliances but not consistent. These properties have elements of a Bronze and Gold level.
Good quality accommodations. These properties are high quality, but all elements might not be considered luxury in nature. There might be more wear on furniture, deck/exterior, etc. TVs are flat screen, but might not be the newest in quality. Might have stone countertops with updated appliances that aren’t stainless steel. These properties have some elements of the Platinum level, but elements are either slightly outdated, worn, or not as high quality.
Luxury accommodations. All elements are of high quality, design, and are up-to-date. Consistent furniture and decor in each room. Unique touches such as stone designs, barnwood/shiplap, full log pillars are often found in these properties.
