Find yourself at In Green Pastures and you may feel like you have stumbled upon your own little home in the Smokies. Its large porches, nicely manicured landscaping, and cozy interior invite you to get comfortable and stay awhile. But don’t forget how close you are to the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains National Park, one of the nation’s most popular national parks—and for good reason. Beyond the picturesque mountain views and beautiful creeks and rivers, you can enjoy anything your heart might desire just around the bend from your cabin rental here in Pigeon Forge. Plus, at In Green Pastures, you’ll have wireless internet in the cabin and community amenities like a fire pit and nearby hiking trails!
Living Room
Kick your feet up and rest on the couch or one of two chairs positioned in the living room, where you might watch a movie or one of your favorite shows with the big screen TV with Blu-ray player. Feel secluded in the privacy of your cabin rental, which is surrounded by woods and trees outside the living room windows. In the summer, enjoy the greenery, or in the fall, enjoy the beautiful colors of the changing leaves during one of our most spectacular seasons of the year. You can also enjoy the warmth and ambience of a fire in the gas fireplace. The couch folds out into a queen-size sleeper, allowing up to 4 people to sleep in the cabin.
Kitchen
The perfect place for cooking up a meal or keeping snacks on hand, this fully equipped kitchen with full-sized refrigerator, oven, dishwasher, and microwave provides what you need to enjoy your stay. You might choose to visit a local grocery store or bring your own cooler full of food, complete with the necessary ingredients for a hearty breakfast, picnic lunch, or spaghetti and salad dinner. Have our Vacation Planners stock the refrigerator in advance of your arrival with all the ingredients for a romantic dinner for two or a Smoky Mountain breakfast. Or venture out to one of the nearby restaurants and enjoy a nice dinner, bringing leftovers or dessert back to the cabin for a late-night snack.
Dining Area
A round table with extendable leaves and two chairs sits near the living room for your romantic dinner or morning coffee. This area is in view of the TV, so you can seat the kids at the couch while you eat or let them use the table while you relax in the living room. A cozy area for reading, playing a game of cards, or challenging your partner to a round or two of Scrabble, you are sure to be grateful for the extra space. For an extra special touch, call ahead and we can arrange a vase of roses or a Smoky Mountain gift basket for your arrival.
Bedroom
Located on the front of the cabin with a nice view of the pastoral green yard, the bedroom is nicely appointed with a queen bed and fresh, updated linens, plus 2 bright wall lamps for night time reading. Cozy up in this space at night with the glow of the lamps and then enjoy a good night’s sleep. You’ll wake up in the morning with a nice view out of the front window, ready for your day in the Smokies. Warm wood paneling surrounds this room for a beautiful cabin feel. You will have 2 nightstand shelves, two smaller wall shelves, and a tower shelf here for extra storage.
Outdoor Spaces
Enjoy the seating on the front porch, where you can sit for coffee or meal at the table and chairs or rock in one of two charming red rocking chairs. Also located at the secluded back side of the front porch is a hot tub. Relax here under the evening stars before you retreat inside for the evening, or switch it up and begin your day with a rejuvenating dip with the jets. The front yard is nicely landscaped and features a beautiful green lawn leading up to the cabin, which sits atop a gently sloping hill and is backed by woods.
To the side of the cabin sits a separate area with a matching red picnic table and charcoal grill. Enjoy a picnic lunch or burgers and hot dogs you’ve tossed on the grill here. Roast marshmallows for s’mores over the fire for an evening treat. And, you can take advantage of the volleyball net for a competitive game or two.
The cabin also features wireless internet, a community fire pit, and nearby hiking trails for your enjoyment. With all of these benefits, though, we hope you still enjoy all that Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg have to offer. And at In Green Pastures, you are a stone’s throw away. Travel less than 8 miles to reach downtown Gatlinburg or just under 12 miles for Pigeon Forge.
Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies
Enjoy a moving sidewalk and underwater tunnel featuring giant shark and tropical fish tanks, plus a stingray petting zoo, an interactive crab exhibit, a positively delightful penguin playhouse, and much more at this very impressive aquarium. You will certainly leave amazed.
Smoky Mountain Winery
Located on the East Parkway in Gatlinburg, the Smoky Mountain Winery is the oldest winery in east Tennessee and is a long-standing favorite among repeat visitors. They offer tours of their facilities as well as an extensive list of uniquely flavored wines, like muscadine, strawberry, and blackberry. They offer free tastings daily, so pay them a visit, enjoy a sample or two, and see which bottle you will choose to make your own!
The Old Mill
Set aside some time during your stay to dine at The Old Mill, where you can enjoy a hearty Southern meal. Diners love to sit in view of the river and historic working mill, which still today grinds the corn meal and grits for The Old Mill’s delicious fresh baked goods and other menu items. You’ll enjoy special Smoky Mountain preserves and maple butter with every meal, and afterwards you can walk over to the shops for a leisurely browse. There’s The Old Mill Candy Kitchen, Old Mill Pigeon River Pottery, The Old Mill Farmhouse Kitchen shop, and more.

"Wow !!! What a great stay . I was a little nervous to book this cabin , It was our honeymoon and i wanted everything to be perfect. This exceeded our expectations. The perfect size for just the two of us , it was clean , conveniently located, and all n all beautiful! We cannot stop talking about how wonderful our stay was . The only tip i have for you is this : FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS EMAILED TO YOU!! The address did come up on our GPS , but we are from Ohio and used to flat land. The GPS took us through many steep back roads , we got there safely , but once we started using the directions to get to and from PF and Gatlinburg it got much much easier. They warned us about this in the email containing the directions, But my husband was determined we could do it with the GPS. We learned our lesson LOL!
Thanks again for everything Cabins for You !!"
