We enjoyed our stay! The cabin was in a good location with only a few other cabins around. The noisy guests across the road left after our first night, so that was nice!
We loved the game table and hot tub!
Great location - not too far from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but also out far enough that it was generally peaceful! Would stay again.
Tip - the water filter on the kitchen sink is hard to turn but tastes MUCH better when you get it turned and use the Brita filter. We forgot to grab a case of water on our way to the cabin, but that filter made a huge difference!
There were some battle type bugs and a wasp inside, but we took care of those. It seemed clean overall, so the few bugs we had are probably just a part of having a cabin in the woods.
We would stay again!
Response from Cabins for You
We truly appreciate you taking the time to share all those thoughtful details. It’s awesome to hear the location worked out so well and that the hot tub and game table were a hit! We know the occasional bug can sneak in out there, so we’re really glad you handled it easily and still felt the cabin was clean. Thanks for the tip on the water filter—that’s super helpful for future guests. We'd absolutely love to have you back anytime.

This place is perfect for a weekend getaway which is what we used it for. Plenty of board games to play, an arcade machine with plenty of options, and cozy couches and beds to nap or lounge on. The jacuzzi was super relaxing and I love that it’s on a balcony overlooking nature. Perfect place to escape your everyday life and just chill in the woods for a bit

Having plenty of ways to relax—whether it’s board games, the arcade, or unwinding in the jacuzzi—makes all the difference. It’s great knowing our space gave you the perfect escape to just chill and recharge. Hope to welcome you back for another cozy retreat soon!

We loved this lovely cabin up the mountain. The hot tub and the extra blankets on the couch were a particularly nice touch. Only note I would say for future guests is the drive up was very steep and narrow at times and right by the cabin the road was partially gravel. I would not have wanted to navigate it in my rear wheel drive vehicle if it had wet & with freezing temperatures. Otherwise, it was very cozy and peaceful up there.
Response from Cabins for You
Thank you for sharing your experience! We're so glad you enjoyed the cozy cabin, the hot tub, and those thoughtful extra blankets. We understand how the steep drive might be challenging and appreciate your note for future guests.

Overall it was a decent stay. Aside from fighting spiders occasionally & the used towels left behind the door upon our arrival, things went well for the most part. Definitely an adventure getting to the cabin, but it was cute & cozy.
Response from Cabins for You
It’s great to hear you found the cabin cute and cozy. We’re sorry about the pests you encountered and the towels left behind—this isn’t the experience we aim to provide. Our team works diligently to prepare the cabin for each guest, and your feedback helps us address these details. Getting to the cabin can be part of the adventure, but we understand it might not be for everyone. Thank you for sharing your thoughts so we can continue to improve. We hope your next stay will be even better.

We enjoyed our stay and Grin and Bear with Cabins for YOU. Rural area so prepare for curvy roads. About 15 to 20 minutes to pigeon forge or gatlinburg.
Enjoyed the wooded setting.
Response from Cabins for You
We’re happy to hear that you enjoyed the peaceful, wooded setting at Grin and Bear! The drive can be a bit winding, but it’s great to know you appreciated the rural atmosphere. We truly value your feedback and are so glad you had a wonderful time during your stay. Thank you for sharing your experience with us!

I loved my stay at the cabin. It felt like home, what every person is wanting to see is a black bear and we saw one and it was awesome. It was very peaceful, the cabin had a game room on the loft and it was good entertainment. The hot tub was very relaxing. Only thing I would recommend if going take your own toilet paper they only provided one roll for each bathroom and it was not a mega roll. :) I have been at other Airbnb where coffee, paper towels, few water bottles and other items like sugar and creamer for coffee are provided but not here. Just giving other guest aheads up. We did not mind going and getting all that stuff but we could have stopped on the way over there then having to go back out to get items. No Mountain View at this area but was wooded and very relaxing. Loved sitting on the balcony and drinking my coffee. We would definitely go and stay there again.
Response from Cabins for You
We're absolutely delighted to hear how much you enjoyed the cabin and even got to see a black bear! It’s wonderful that the game room and hot tub made your stay even more relaxing. Thanks so much for the thoughtful heads-up for future guests – your feedback is appreciated! We'd love to welcome you back for another peaceful getaway.
