This charming 1-bedroom classic log cabin surrounded by mountain forestry and glimpses of majestic mountain peaks is your peaceful escape with your special someone for an anniversary, honeymoon, or romantic weekend away. Or bring the kids along for a small family vacation in the Smokies, with space for 4 guests and only a short drive to Pigeon Forge – just minutes away from Dollywood, LazerPort Fun Center, and many more attractions!

Spend romantic evenings in the open, fully loaded kitchen cooking the perfect meal to pair with your local wine from tastings at the Smoky Mountain Winery. Unwind and relax in a peaceful cabin as newlyweds for an exquisite honeymoon with charming cabin extras like an outdoor hot tub and heart-shaped jetted tub. Pick a movie out from the cabin’s library and snuggle on the cushy red leather sofa while the fire warms the living room and the movie plays on the 42” plasma TV. With quaint cabin furnishings and dreamy natural light drifting in through the tall windows, you are sure to fall in love all over again during your visit to the Smoky Mountains and First Flight.

Living Room

Pop some popcorn in the kitchen’s microwave and settle into a cozy spot on the leather couch for a special movie night on the 42-inch plasma TV. In the mornings, break out your favorite novel and read in the glider chair as the soft sunlight of the early day lingers through the airy white drapes on the windows. On cooler days, turn on the gas fireplace for a quick and easy fire without needing to buy or collect wood. After you’ve spent the day touring the Rocky Top Wine Trail or watching shows at Dollywood, come back to your heart-shaped tub for a soothing soak. Here with the kids or with friends? The queen-size sleeper sofa gives you some extra space, and the kids will love having a TV to fall asleep to!

Kitchen

Grab your groceries from the full-size refrigerator to begin preparing your partner’s favorite meal as a romantic surprise. Easily cook and serve your delicious dinner using the conveniently stocked cookware, dishes, and utensils from the wooden kitchen cabinets. Ample natural light dances through the windows and charming white curtains to illuminate the kitchen while cooking pancakes and brewing coffee in the mornings.

Prepare your family’s favorite fruit smoothies in the blender for a healthy snack before heading to Cades Cove in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park for a day of exploring. After your delicious meal with generous portions from The Old Mill, bring back leftovers to store in the refrigerator for a quick midnight snack from the microwave.

Dining Room

Toast to years of happy marriage under the soft light of the chandelier while eating at the round farmhouse-style dinner table for 4. Read your morning papers or magazines from home while sipping coffee in the dreamy light of the dining room windows. On more laid-back days, use the dining table for puzzles while you sip sweet tea and nibble on tasty treats from The Island at Pigeon Forge, bring your favorite board game from home and play games after dinner while dessert bakes in the oven, or map out the next day’s excursions with warm hot chocolate in hand before turning in for the night.

Bedroom

A cozy retreat after a busy day in town, the bedroom in First Flight features a king-size log bed with a cozy quilt, soft, romantic curtains, a ceiling fan for warmer nights, and bedside lamps for late-night reading. In the morning, grab your coffee and climb back in bed to watch TV and warm up in front of your own fireplace. At night, fall asleep to your favorite shows and enjoy some peace and quiet in your own little escape in Pigeon Forge.

Game Room

Grab some drinks and snacks and get ready for a fun and laid-back time in the rec room at First Flight. Shoot some pool, flip on the TV to watch a game, or just kick back on the couch and relax. There is even a fireplace here, so you can keep the room feeling cozy while you unwind and play!

Outdoor Spaces

Hold hands while lounging in the charming log patio set in full view of expansive blue skies and serene mountain forestry during lazy afternoons at the cabin. Sip on warm hot chocolate while watching snow blanket the trees in winter or cool iced sweet tea as the sunlight illuminates all the shades of green through the leaves in summer. Slip into the soothing waters of the outdoor hot tub for some warm, bubbly time to unwind in the evening before drying off and crawling into your cozy bed.

Reviews for First Flight

  • "AWESOME, NEAT & EXTRA CLEAN cabin to stay in. Felt like you were secluded & in your own place. Only one cabin next door, but still felt remote. We had an great get away with easy access to get to Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge using the back roads without all the waiting in traffic. We had no problem finding the cabin, getting in or checking out. Hot tub was great also. It was also great not having cell service & no internet for the weekend.....nice get-away-cabin!!!"

  • "I had a great time with my wife as we celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary. This was our 3rd stay at First Flight, and it was just as exciting as our first stay. Everything that we needed was there, and we enjoyed the privacy of the cabin. I look forward to our next stay, which can't come soon enough."

  • "I really enjoyed my stay at the Cabin. It was very secluded, and just what I needed to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The hot tub overlooking the mountain side was an excellent feature. The cabin itself was very homey, and had nice wood carvings and features throughout. The cleanliness was top notch, and instructions on arrival and departure were clear and precise. I would recommend this cabin to everyone, and would be inclined to stay here again in the future."
