Find rest and relaxation at the Edge of Paradise, a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom motorcycle-friendly cabin — perfect for a romantic trip, anniversary retreat, or honeymoon. Along with a private indoor pool, this Pigeon Forge home with a log look boasts beautiful mountain views, an outdoor hot tub, big screen TV, fully equipped kitchen, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Sip coffee on the back deck, spend the day shopping in town, enjoy an in-cabin dinner for 2, snuggle up in the king-size bed — and that’s only the beginning!
Living Room
With a stone-bordered fireplace and reclining sofa and chair, the living space in this home will feel warm and cozy. Pop your favorite movie or one provided in the DVD player for movie night on the big screen TV, get a toasty fire going in the gas fireplace (with remote) for evening chats, and place your bare feet on the plush rug! Cuddle up with the comfy throw and plump pillows and recline to your heart’s content. While resting, say hello to the bears beneath the glass coffee table and end table (they love meeting new friends). For a bit more fun, step around to the pool table nearby, always ready for a rousing round or a friendly match — you make the call.
Kitchen
Only steps away from the living space, the open kitchen comes fully equipped with dishware, silverware, pots and pans, and — stainless-steel appliances. Make scrambled eggs and bacon on the stove, heat up grits in the microwave, and brew your favorite blend in the coffeemaker for breakfast. Brown a few bagels in the toaster and blend fruit smoothies with the blender before your epic hike in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Don’t forget to let the dishwasher clean up while you head to town for a bit of souvenir shopping. Add a touch of romance to dinner by grabbing a few stem glasses from the cupboards and bubbly from the fridge — a bouquet of fresh flowers wouldn’t hurt either!
Dining Area
While dining with your loved one at the quaint, stone-top table with cushioned seats for 2, embrace the magical moment and sing a sweet serenade…if you’re brave enough. Better yet, just enjoy the mountain views through the large window together. When the feasting is done, clear the table and pull out your lucky deck of cards for a fun game.
Private Indoor Pool
After dinner settles, why not go for a dip in the private indoor pool downstairs? Complete with pool games and swimming noodles, enjoy a good time with endless smiles and laughter. Toss the beach ball around, shoot hoops in the water, and let your worries and cares float away. There is also a small table and 2 chairs to keep your towels and drinks company.
10' x 16' | 3 1/2 - 5 1/2 feet deep
Bedroom
End the night in the primary suite on the entry level — featuring a king-size bed, garden tub, and flatscreen TV! Light a few scented candles, toss in a vanilla bath bomb, play soothing tunes, and unwind in the tub before gliding under the soft sheets and onto the plump pillows of the king-size bed. If you’re too blissful to sleep, watch a funny show or nature documentary before heading to dreamland. Afraid the sunrise will wake you up too early? Well, simply close the thick blackout curtains of the 4 large windows before bed, and sleeping until you’re fully satisfied will finally be possible.
Outdoor Spaces
In the morning, enjoy the cool mountain air with a warm soak in the outdoor hot tub or a hot cup of joe in the wooden rocking chairs on the lower-level deck. Around midday, head onto the entry-level deck for a cup of herbal tea and a light read on the cushioned chairs or love seat — complete with a matching wicker coffee table. Take an evening rest with your sweetheart on the Papasan chair for 2 by a cozy fire in the outdoor electric fireplace. With a paved parking area (motorcycle friendly) out front, leaving the cabin for a show in town will be a breeze. However, if you’d prefer dinner at home, consider firing up the charcoal grill for barbecue night.
Other Amenities
With high-speed internet at the ready, posting pictures and videos from your earlier hike will be easy as pie. And don’t forget to wash your hiking gear in the provided washer and dryer. Plus, packing light and washing clothes at the cabin means less packing and more room for vacay mementos! In the mood for a friendly competition? Pull out one of the provided board games to curb your craving for victory.
