Opportunities to relax and have fun await you at Cozy Bear. Let your stresses be carried away in the cool breezes as you sit on your large deck with seating for all or take an evening dip in the covered hot tub. Break those solids and stripes for a game or two of pool while the smell of the steaks on your charcoal grill tease from outside. Have a peaceful and needed getaway where you can fill your day without even leaving the chalet.

Conveniently located only 1.5 miles to town allows you to see it all! Located in Chalet Village, Cozy Bear keeps you close to the fun of downtown while giving you a cozy community feel. After a long day, whether it was spent in Cozy Bear indulging in the comforts or out exploring in Gatlinburg, your comfy beds await you. Find one king-size bed on the main level and a queen-size bed that shares space with a twin bed in the upstairs bedroom. Don’t worry, each of the bedrooms have their own TVs to add one more way to be entertained while visiting.

Living Room
Glorious sunlight will pour into your living room through the windows that extend to the roofline. Snuggle up with a book or watch your favorite sporting event from the leather reclining sofa and chair. Take advantage of the cable or pop in a DVD to watch on your 42” inch TV. There is room for 5 to relax and enjoy a movie in the evenings as the fire roars from your gas fireplace.

Feel the cool from the ceiling fan and challenge others to a game of pool without even leaving the space. Let a quiet day transform into a game night as everyone will want to play the next game! Just in case you have to do a little work while you are here, there is a desk tucked in under the stairs and high speed internet access to help you get it done in no time.

Kitchen
Feel at home as you flip pancakes in the mornings in the open kitchen with the sun greeting you from everywhere you turn. Grab a snack or fix a meal for everyone in your fully equipped kitchen. Use the microwave to make some popcorn or the toaster to heat bagels for breakfast and let the smell of coffee wake the rest of the guests as you make a plan for the adventures of the day. Make a quick trip to the grocery store and know you will have plenty of room to keep all of your food fresh, or even the leftovers from your meal at Big Daddy’s Pizzeria in your full size refrigerator.

Dining Room
Partake of breakfast, lunch, or dinner at the dining area with a table perfectly placed just off the kitchen. Laugh as you catch up with life and fellowship around the table for a game of cards or a favorite board game while the others play pool just steps away in the living room. Crawl into your own king-size bed and let the light breeze from the overhead fan take you to dreamland as you watch one last show on your own rooms 32” TV.

Your bathroom has a tub and shower in case you have any littles that want to play in the tub before bed, and the second bathroom has a stand-up shower for those who are in and out quickly. Utilize the high-speed internet at the desk space in the upstairs bedroom if the downstairs fun was too noisy for work that had to be done.

Outdoor Spaces
Leave the doors from the living room open to enjoy the breathtaking views that Cozy Bear engulfs you with. Follow these doors out onto your oversized deck where there is seating for everyone. In the crisp air of the morning, bring your tea or coffee and stand at the rail, letting the mountains wake you up.

An Unforgettable Smoky Mountain Experience at Cozy Bear! Our family of three (including our 6-year-old daughter) had an absolutely wonderful stay at Cozy Bear, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable vacations we've ever taken. The biggest highlight happened on our very first day. As we were settling into the cabin, a mama black bear casually stopped by to say hello! Then, as if the Smokies wanted to give us the perfect ending, she came back on our last day while we were checking out to say goodbye. Seeing a black bear in its natural habitat—safely from our cabin—was an incredible experience. It's something many visitors hope and even pay for guided tours to experience, and we were lucky enough to witness it for free on our very first trip to the Smoky Mountains! Our daughter was absolutely thrilled and still talks about it. It became the highlight of our entire vacation. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a relaxing family getaway. We especially enjoyed spending time on the deck, soaking in the hot tub, and listening to the sounds of nature in the evenings. One of the biggest advantages of this cabin is its location. It was only about 5–10 minutes from many of the area's top attractions, including: * Gatlinburg SkyPark & SkyBridge * Anakeesta * Ober Mountain * Downtown Gatlinburg * Great Smoky Mountains National Park entrance We never felt like we spent too much time driving, which made it perfect for traveling with a young child. We could easily explore during the day and return to the peaceful cabin whenever we wanted. The management company also provided clear check-in instructions, and the cabin was exactly as described. We appreciated how easy the entire process was from arrival to departure. One Small Note The only minor downside was the wildlife that comes with staying in a mountain cabin. Since you're literally surrounded by nature, expect spiders to rebuild webs overnight and ants to make the occasional appearance—even though we never brought food into the bedrooms or left food sitting out. Honestly, that's part of staying in a cabin in the woods, and it didn't take away from our overall experience. Overall If you're looking for a peaceful cabin that's close to all the major attractions while still giving you that authentic Smoky Mountain experience, I highly recommend Cozy Bear. Between the incredible location, comfortable accommodations, beautiful surroundings, and our unforgettable bear encounters, this trip created memories our family will cherish for years. We would absolutely stay at Cozy Bear again on our next visit to the Smokies. Thank you for making our first Smoky Mountain vacation so special!

We appreciate your understanding about the occasional cabin wildlife and hope to welcome you back to the Smokies soon.

Absolutely adorable place

Beds were extremely comfortable, cozy, loved the view. Could have used more than one roll of toilet paper, parking space is barely big enough for one vehicle. If you have two be careful parking across the street because the owner of the house up top will definitely let you know he wants you to move.
