Steps from the living area is the fully equipped kitchen that features major appliances, a coffeemaker, a double sink, and a bar with seating. The beautiful new firepit area has string lights, boulders for sitting around, and lush woods to make you feel tucked away. There’s also a sitting space in the grass with a table and chairs for those who want to enjoy the sounds of the creek rushing past. You can also fire up the charcoal grill for fun cabin cookouts with the whole gang. The driveway is steep and paved with parking for 3, so be sure to plan accordingly for trips into town.

Set in a mountain lodge (our favorite), Calhoun’s features a Southern menu to please the whole family, with items like fried green tomatoes, a brisket sandwich, Tennessee bar-b-que, country slaw, and macadamia nut banana pudding.
