Located in the convenient Chalet Village, just minutes from the heart of downtown Gatlinburg, Cabin On the Creek keeps you close to the many restaurants, shops, and attractions of the Smokies. Take a hike in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, check out the unique mountain shops downtown, or spend the day exploring the Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community. Then head back to Cabin On the Creek for some rest and relaxation.

This 4-bedroom, 3½-bathroom cabin has space to sleep up to 10 guests and features all the conveniences of home — plus some nice extras for a great stay in the Smokies. Start mornings with a cup of coffee at the outdoor table on the deck, whip up meals in your full kitchen, and enjoy wooded views around the cabin. Each bedroom has its own TV, and the cabin has a DVD player and high-speed wireless internet for entertainment.

On cool mountain nights, fire up the charcoal grill for a cookout and cozy up in front of the wood-burning fireplaces in the cabin. You can soak in the steamy hot tub under the stars, draw spa baths in the indoor jetted tub, take advantage of the washer/dryer in the cabin, and even enjoy community pool access on those hot summer days. There is also a beautiful new firepit area outside with string lights and space to chat and relax. Living Room
Follow your feet into the cozy and inviting living room at Cabin On the Creek. The ceiling is raised high with exposed beams, large windows stream wooded scenery, and hardwood floors flow throughout the space. A wood-burning fireplace makes chilly evenings cozier, and there’s a TV with a DVD player so you can watch movies on vacation. Lounge on the sofa (doubles as a queen sleeper), sip wine with your partner on the loveseat, and read your favorite book in the armchair. The coffee table is great for games and snacks, and there’s a ceiling fan to keep cool on warm days.

Kitchen
Steps from the living area is the fully equipped kitchen that features major appliances, a coffeemaker, a double sink, and a bar with seating. Pots and pans plus dishware, cutlery, glasses, and mugs are also provided. Simply bring all the ingredients and any specialty cookware needed to whip up hearty breakfasts, yummy lunches, flavorful dinners, and midnight snacks throughout your stay in Gatlinburg. Having a fully equipped kitchen while away on vacation helps save money and offers a convenient space to grab drinks and store leftovers, keeping everyone fed and happy. 

Dining Area

There are 2 king-size beds, 1 queen-size bed, and 1 full-size bed to accommodate friends and family. Some of the bedrooms offer direct access to the spacious decks, and the primary suite even features a wood-burning fireplace and a bathroom with an indoor jetted tub. Enjoy spa baths with bubbles and tea candles before cuddling in bed with a romantic fire setting the mountain mood. Extra sleeping space can be found in the living room, where the sofa doubles as a queen sleeper.

Outdoor Spaces
Wooded scenery surrounds Cabin On the Creek, letting you slip away to a relaxing and recharging atmosphere. There are 2 spacious decks, where you can take in the fresh mountain air from a chair, enjoy breakfast or an evening meal at the outdoor dining table, and sway on the porch swing. When you want to take a load off and unwind, slip into your swimsuit and hop in the bubbly hot tub with massaging jets. 

The beautiful new firepit area has string lights, boulders for sitting around, and lush woods to make you feel tucked away. There’s also a sitting space in the grass with a table and chairs for those who want to enjoy the sounds of the creek rushing past. You can also fire up the charcoal grill for fun cabin cookouts with the whole gang. The driveway is steep and paved with parking for 3, so be sure to plan accordingly for trips into town.

In town, find all the Nemos at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, mosey across the Gatlinburg SkyBridge, duel zipline with a friend at Anakeesta, ride mountain coasters, play mini-golf, and much more at family-friendly attractions. You can try Southern signatures, enjoy a steak dinner on the river, or stuff your face with griddle cakes. Sweets shops are everywhere, and shopping is a must!

Don’t forget to stop by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park while you’re in town. There is no entrance fee, and you’ll find 800+ miles of hiking trails to explore. You can also ride horses, take a scenic drive, picnic with family and friends, go fishing, and spot wild animals, like black bears, river otters, white-tailed deer, elk, foxes, raccoons, turkeys, and flying squirrels.

Ober Gatlinburg
Not just a place to ski, Ober Gatlinburg is an amusement park on a mountaintop that boasts a wildlife encounter, shops, restaurants, games, and a year-round ice rink indoors, where you can ice skate and ride ice bumper cars in any season!

Gatlinburg Space Needle
At 407 feet in the air, this towering observation tower reaches high into the Great Smoky Mountain sky and offers you some of the best views around. Plus, this fun stop features an arcade, a performance theater, and a pizza joint.

Calhoun’s
Set in a mountain lodge (our favorite), Calhoun’s features a Southern menu to please the whole family, with items like fried green tomatoes, a brisket sandwich, Tennessee bar-b-que, country slaw, and macadamia nut banana pudding.
