This 2-bedroom cabin is rustic on the outside and outfitted with modern amenities on the inside, giving you that classic Smoky Mountain escape with plenty of comfort and convenience. From the conveniences of home to some fun vacation extras, Brookside Hideaway has you covered for a fantastic stay for up to 6 guests in the Smokies!

Start with a peaceful setting in the Smoky Mountains. Brookside Hideaway sets the backdrop for your relaxing retreat, and it’s equipped with plenty of ways to keep you entertained. Flip on the 48-inch flatscreen TV in the living room (with cable TV), play on the multigame arcade console and watch TV in the rec room, and take advantage of the Wi-Fi provided in the cabin.

Ready to relax? Cozy up by the gas fireplace on cool mountain evenings, head to the bedrooms – with their own bathrooms – for some privacy and rest, unwind in the rocking chairs on the deck, and climb into the soothing hot tub for a quiet night. Brookside Hideaway is also equipped with conveniences to make your stay simpler, from a fully equipped kitchen and bathtubs for the kids to a gas grill and washer/dryer. Plus, this Gatlinburg cabin has access to community amenities in Chalet Village, including pools, games, playgrounds, workout areas, and more!

Living Room
The living room of Brookside Hideaway is the place to gather when you want some quality time just unwinding with family or friends. Featuring a log-and-leather sofa, log rocking chair, and armchair by a reading lamp, It has space for everyone to sit back and relax. Here you can stay warm by the gas fireplace on those chilly mountain evenings, flip on the game with cable TV, or just enjoy morning cartoons with the kids with the 48-inch flatscreen TV.

Brookside Hideaway’s open floorplan makes it easy for you to chat with other guests, whether you’re relaxing in the living room, cooking in the kitchen, or playing board games at the dining table. Parents can chat at the table or get meals ready while the kids watch a movie or hang out nearby. 

Kitchen
Gatlinburg has many wonderful restaurants to try during your vacation, but sometimes you want to save money and cook in the cabin. Or sometimes you want to prepare your own favorites. Either way, the fully equipped kitchen of Brookside Hideaway makes that easy. The breakfast bar has seating for 3, and the kitchen is equipped with a microwave, toaster and coffeemaker, dishes and utensils, pots and pans, a dishwasher for easy cleanup, and an oven/stovetop for more elaborate meals or holiday dishes. 

Rec Room
A cool space upstairs that is sure to be the kids’ favorite, the rec area has a TV, beanbag chairs, a kid-sized chair, windows with beautiful wooded views, and a multicade console with classics like Frogger, Donkey Kong, Centipede, and more! The kids (and kids at heart) will love having their own little space to hang out and play while you’re around the cabin.

This space also has access to a nice balcony overlooking the stream, which is the ideal spot for parents to relax in the chairs with a drink as the kiddos play right inside. Sneak up here before everyone wakes up for a quiet morning coffee or spend the afternoon reading a good book with only the sounds of the water in the background.

Bedrooms
The bedrooms in Brookside Hideaway are outfitted with what you need for restful nights, from lamps and dressers to log beds and ceiling fans. The entry-level primary bedroom has its own 42-inch flatscreen TV, a king-size log bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a tub and shower combo. Upstairs, the second guest bedroom features a queen-size log bed, 29-inch flatscreen TV, and another en-suite bathroom with a tub and shower combo. Either bedroom is a great pick, but if you’re traveling with kids, they’ll likely love the upstairs bedroom that keeps them close to the rec space! The cabin also has a futon for additional space.

Outdoor Spaces
Breathe in that fresh mountain air and soak up the sights of the Smokies in your Brookside Hideaway. Start your morning with a cup of coffee in the deck furniture or toss steaks and kabobs on the gas grill for a nice mountain cookout. Or you can head to the pools in Chalet Village to cool off on hot summer days or just play games any time! And of course, you have a huge outdoor space – the Great Smoky Mountains National Park – just a short drive from your cabin!

Other Amenities
Brookside Hideaway was designed with your comfort in mind. The cabin has a washer and dryer so you can wash towels after pool days or just pack light and wash while you’re here. It also has Wi-Fi, so you can check out our blog for vacation tips or just catch up on some work while you’re away.

Community Amenities
A location in the Chalet Village community means access to 3 great clubhouses – North Clubhouse, South Baden Clubhouse, and Upper Alpine Clubhouse – with their own unique amenities. Across the clubhouses, you can take advantage of outdoor swimming pools, lighted tennis courts, a paved walking trail, foosball, ping pong, drink machines, fitness equipment, playground, pool tables, checkers and chess, board games, and more! So when you want to play but don’t want to go far from the cabin, Chalet Village amenities will be a big plus during your stay!

Local Fun
Gatlinburg has it all – mini golf, go karts, laser tag, wineries, moonshine distilleries, art galleries, unique shops, good restaurants, sweet treats, and of course…amazing views of the Smokies. Spend the day strolling along the Parkway, picnicking in Cades Cove, hiking together in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and riding the scenic Aerial Tramway up to Ober Gatlinburg for some romantic time as a couple or some fun with the family!

Ober Gatlinburg
On top of the beautiful view you can take hand-in-hand up to Ober Gatlinburg, this classic attraction offers indoor ice skating, the Seasons of Ober Restaurant, shopping, a pro shop for ski and snowboard gear in winter, and the ever-popular OktOBERfest celebration!

Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies
What’s more romantic and fun than a walk beneath the sharks sea turtles in the underwater tunnel at this world-class aquarium?! Enjoy a day at Touch-A-Ray Bay, playing with the penguins, and walking around the jellies.

The Island
Located in neighboring Pigeon Forge, The Island features the dancing show fountains, moonshine, The Escape Game, boutique shopping, celebrity-owned restaurants, live music, and the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel for a great date and day out!

Community pool access is provided and managed through a third party company. Cabins For You is not responsible for maintenance or pool closures. The pool is typically open Memorial Day through Labor Day.
