The Fall season is a popular Gatlinburg visiting time for people who love beautiful weather and amazing views. During the Fall, Gatlinburg comes alive with beautiful colors. The views in Gatlinburg are already amazing, but taking them in when the leaves are changing is just breathtaking. Not only are there great views, Gatlinburg also has a lot of events during the Fall months that can keep visitors very busy. The amazing weather and gorgeous fall colors create the perfect ambiance for family fun.

A special night of spooky fun in Gatlinburg is Halloween night. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge have several activities that are sure to keep you shaking in your boots. Not only are there tricks, there are also treats. Candy is plentiful on Halloween in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Most Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg Halloween events are kid friendly and will be keep the whole family entertained. Trick or treating in Downtown Gatlinburg and at the shopping outlets in Pigeon Forge is very common but there are also specific events that have been scheduled and are open to the public. Gatlinburg Community Center Halloween Bash – This candy heavy event on October 30th will be held for kids from preschool to 8th grade. The Gatlinburg Halloween event runs from 6pm to 9:30 pm. The Community Center can be contacted by calling 865-436-4990.

Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies Trails and Treats Gatlinburg Halloween event– This event is being held on October 31st. It is a family Halloween activity. Questions? Call (865) 430-8808

Ripley’s Haunted Adventure – Nights of Halloween. This show is held on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and lasts from October 1st to October 31st. Children under the age of 6 are not permitted into the attraction. The show is at Ripley’s Haunted adventure in Downtown Gatlinburg.

Belz Annual Halloween Egg Hunt – Belz Outlets is holding a Halloween Celebration on October 28th. The festivities begin at 6:00 p.m. For more info Belz can be called at (865) 453-7316.

Pigeon Forge’s 10th Annual Safe Halloween Celebration – The City of Pigeon Forge Department of Parks and Recreation is hosting a trick or treat bash at the Pigeon Forge Community Center. More information is available by calling (865) 429-7373.
