Spring Rod Run Experience
Get revved to be surrounded by 100s of classic cars, from a 1932 Ford to a 1941 Willys Coupe to a 1969 Camaro. Vintage upholstery, shiny rims, specialty car parts, and more await at promising swap meets. And don’t forget to snap up a few official merch T-shirts from ET Motorgear, famed with 30+ years of experience in official motorsports event apparel. Soft purrs and strong roars will be heard for miles around, the kiddos will get a kick out of all the “Chitty Chitty Bang Bangs,” and you’ll have a chance to make new lifelong car buddies. The event will be hosted at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, TN, and presented by Danny’s Rod Shop, Checkered Racing, Metal Brothers Hot Rods, ASA Performance, and the Farris Insurance Agency. Attend as a spectator (with FREE parking at the venue) or register your hot rod to be part of the show. As a participator, you’ll have the opportunity to rank in the Top 25 or the Ultimate 5, and if luck’s on your side, you could also win special awards or the XXX Shine Super! With a grand prize of $8,000 to the top hot rod, entering the still race shouldn’t be a question.

While the venue offers free parking for spectators, there are a few other fun ways to get around the car show craze — in style.
One: take a self-guided trolley tour. We all know how tempting it is to glance out our car windows at classic cars; however, this can also be a tad dangerous. Don’t take the risk. Instead, take the air-conditioned trolley and feel free to get a good look at all the cars without fear of a crash.
Two: traverse the Parkway with a rented golf cart, scooter, or bicycle. Walking for miles is fun and all…but wouldn’t you rather travel on a cool contraption that saves you time and energy?
