Description

Situated in the convenient and desirable Chalet Village community, Bear Paw is a classic 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom Gatlinburg chalet overlooking the Smokies – with a beautiful view of Mt. LeConte! It offers beautiful views and a sunny deck outside, along with the conveniences of home and modern amenities inside. With space for up to 4 guests, it’s just the right size for a romantic couple’s weekend, a vacation with the kids, or a getaway with a few friends.

Nice upgrades throughout the cabin include new hardwood floors in the cozy living room, a new kitchen with new appliances, and granite countertops in both the kitchen and the bathrooms! You’ll love these fresh new spaces on your Smoky Mountain retreat. The kitchen is fully equipped to make mealtime easy, and there is a gas grill outside so you can have cookouts on those beautiful mountain days. The cabin also has many conveniences for a comfortable stay, including Wi-Fi (check out our Cabins for YOU blog for vacation ideas), cable TV, and a washer and dryer.

At Bear Paw, you can spend days relaxing in the sunroom, playing board games or having family meals at the dining table for 4, unwinding in front of the big screen TV in the living room, soaking in the hot tub and having fresh air as you sip coffee on the deck, and taking advantage of the many community amenities offered in Chalet Village! You’ll have clubhouses, multiple pools, yard games, game tables, and more easily accessible in the Chalet Village community.

Living Room
New hardwood floors in the living room just add to the warm, welcoming atmosphere here. Sit back and relax on the reclining sofa, stay warm by the wood-burning fireplace on those chilly Smoky Mountain evenings, and flip on the big screen TV and relax. There is cable TV here for your convenience, and the large coffee table is great for snacks, drinks, or board games (or building blocks) with the kids!

The living room is located just a few steps from the dining table and kitchen, so even if a guest is cooking or eating at the table, it will be easy to chat and hang out together. The open floorplan is perfectly set up for spending quality time with family and friends in Bear Paw.

Kitchen
The new kitchen in Bear Paw is ready for your chef’s touch! It features all new black appliances, beautiful granite countertops, rich wood cabinets, and the tools and dishes you need to enjoy any of your meals right in the cabin. There is plenty of counter space for meal prep or setting out a buffet of snacks and drinks, and it’s open to the dining table so grabbing seconds is a breeze.

The kitchen boasts a dishwasher for easy cleanup, blender for morning smoothies, double sink, toaster oven, coffeemaker, knife set, cooking utensils, oven with glass stovetop, mounted microwave, and refrigerator/freezer. You can easily keep ingredients for meals fresh, store leftovers from a meal downtown, keep fudge cool, or just always have your favorite drinks or snacks on hand. The window even has a little peek of the trees, meaning you’ll always feel tucked away in nature.

Dining Table
Mealtime is always a great opportunity to gather. Bear Paw makes that easy with a 4-person dining table with padded seats and views of the deck. Whip up meals in the nearby kitchen to enjoy at the table together or use this spot as your game-night headquarters. There is plenty of room for everyone to come together around a board game!

Bedrooms
Busy days deserve relaxing nights, and the 2 bedrooms at Bear Paw offer just that. This Gatlinburg cabin offers 2 king suites, each with a walk-in shower and a TV. Both bathrooms also feature new granite countertops! You’ll also have bedside lamps and dressers so you can unpack and get more comfortable during your stay.

Outdoor Spaces
Ready for some fresh air at Bear Paw? Take a step out onto your spacious deck and breathe it all in. The first thing you’ll see is a stunning view of Mt. LeConte, with the trees of the Smokies all around. Start your mornings at one of two tables here, perfect for coffee or a quick lunch before heading into town. This may also be your last stop of the night before bed, as the bubbling waters of the hot tub call your name! Climb on in to give those muscles a break after a long day hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park or walking up and down the Parkway of downtown Gatlinburg. It’s also a must-do after a day of skiing and snowboarding at Ober Gatlinburg!

Bear Paw also offers a gas grill, so you can toss burgers, steaks, kabobs, and fresh-caught fish on the grill for cookouts on nice days. Bear Paw also has some grassy space on the side of the cabin, great for tossing around a football on those perfect fall mountain afternoons.

Other Amenities
Bear Paw has you covered when it comes to feeling comfortable while away from home. You can toss pool towels in the washer and dryer, use the Wi-Fi to catch up on some work, and head to community amenities for some fun. The cabin is also all on one level, making getting around a bit easier.

There are 3 clubhouses packed with amenities, including multiple outdoor pools, horseshoes, shuffleboard, ping pong, game tables, drink machines, playgrounds, walking trails, lighted tennis pools, and more.
