Description

A great cabin rental for a small group of friends or a family, Bear Footin’ is a 2-bedroom cabin with 2 bathrooms, lovely wooded views, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 gas fireplaces, a gas grill, and an outdoor hot tub. This Pigeon Forge cabin rental is also just minutes from the heart of Pigeon Forge, making it easy to head to town for delicious dinners, fun attractions, family activities, comedy shows, and endless shopping on your Smoky Mountain vacation.

Whether reading bedtime stories by the fireplace, soaking in the bubbling outdoor hot tub, playing games, or cooking together in the fully equipped kitchen, this charming cabin in the Great Smoky Mountains is the place to call home on your Smoky Mountain getaway!

Living Room
The lovely stone gas fireplace welcomes you into the comfortable and homey living room. Relax on the love seat while the kids explore the cabin or flip on the flatscreen TV to check the local weather before a day in town for a delicious meal. While you rest, send the kids to count the bears (there are more than 20) inside the cabin to burn off some travel energy — it’s not called Bear Footin’ for nothing! Even the living room’s end table, coffee table, and floor lamp are adorned with cuddly bears.

When you get back from exploring the national park or playing in downtown Pigeon Forge, put the little ones in their jammies, whip up a pot of creamy hot cocoa (marshmallow fluff recommended), add extra butter to the popcorn, and enjoy a movie night in the cabin. Once the kids fall asleep, pull out the queen sleeper sofa to tuck them in, using the throw pillows for additional comfort. During downtime in the early mornings, start a warm fire, drink an herbal tea, read a good book, and admire the beautiful wooded views from the large windows.

Kitchen
Start the day with a freshly cooked breakfast from the fully equipped kitchen — complete with cooking utensils, cookware, dishware, drinkware, and silverware. Grab fruit from the refrigerator, toast bagels in the toaster, scramble eggs on the stove, and brew your favorite blend in the coffeemaker.

For lunch, heat up last night’s leftovers in the microwave and give a frozen dessert to the kids as a reward for waiting patiently at the bar area for 3. When dinner time rolls around, wash the veggies in the stainless-steel double sink (with a sprayer), cook a pot of savory soup on the stove, bake cornbread muffins in the oven, and let the dishwasher take care of the mess! During the holidays, be sure to bring your go-to family recipes for an epic holiday stay!

Dining Area
With enchanting wooded views all around, dining at Bear Footin’ will be a real treat! Located right across from the kitchen, the dining area makes it easy to serve at mealtime and grab second helpings. Place the main dish and sides in the center of the wooden table so everyone can sit comfortably (on 4 cushioned chairs) throughout the meal. Around midday, clear the table and take advantage of the natural light for some arts and crafts with the little ones.

At night, make this your game-night hub! Bring your favorite board games, puzzles, or decks of cards and enjoy an evening of fun with games, snacks, and drinks nearby. You can also use it for homeschooling, catching up on some work, or jst planning out the day’s adventures.

Loft | Rec Room
Enjoy treetop views and recreational fun upstairs in the loft! Show your friends what a champion pool player looks like or completely miss — no shame. If you aren’t up for pool, take a seat on one of the 2 stools and play checkers with your bestie. Should the playful crew get a bit too rowdy, turn on the ceiling fan to keep the game room cool. In the meantime, set up the checkers rug from the game bag on the wall for a more relaxed pastime.

Bedrooms
Off the loft, the bedroom features a private en-suite bathroom, a cozy gas fireplace, a relaxing recliner and a TV, a ceiling fan for hot sleepers, and a dresser for unpacking. If you’re here on a romantic getaway, it will be just the place to call it a night. Get a good night’s sleep on the queen-size bed, complete your morning workout on the large area rug, and listen to the crackling fire as you watch a funny movie with the DVD player.

Another bedroom is located on the entry level and features a king-size bed, a flatscreen TV, and a ceiling fan. Stay up all night watching your favorite show in bed, and grab a midnight snack from the kitchen with ease.

Outdoor Spaces
At the end of the cabin’s flat, paved driveway (motorcycle friendly) there are 2 parking spaces close to 5 alluring steps that will happily guide you to the cabin’s deck, where the real fun begins! Set your tea on the small table and unwind in one of the 2 rocking chairs as you listen to the morning birds’ song and inhale the mountain-fresh air.

Leave the double doors from the living room open while your party enjoys a nice barbecue dinner — courtesy of the gas grill — at the picnic table. Better yet, skip the meal altogether and head straight for the hot tub, which has a privacy wall on one side and a wooded view on another!
